1. PRÓLOGO
Agradecemos la confianza depositada en la marca ENAR.
Para el máximo aprovechamiento de su equipo de vibración recomendamos que lea y entienda las normas
de seguridad, mantenimiento y utilización recogidas en este manual de instrucciones.
Las piezas defectuosas deben ser reemplazadas inmediatamente para evitar problemas mayores.
El grado de disponibilidad de la máquina aumentará si sigue las indicaciones de este manual.
Para cualquier comentario o sugerencia sobre nuestras máquinas estamos a su total disposición.

2. CARACTERÍSTICAS
La TORNADO E-BATT es una regla alisadora para acabado superficial de suelos. Se caracteriza por su bajo
peso, solo precisa de una persona para su manejo. No es necesaria la utilización de guías, se debe trabajar
directamente sobre el hormigón. El perfil de aluminio laminado presenta una alta resistencia y una perfecta
planitud.

2.1 DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL:
La regla vibroextendedora Tornado E-BATT está compuesta de un grupo vibrante con un motor-vibrador
eléctrico alimentado con una batería recargable de 24V. El grupo vibrante cuenta con asideros de transporte
y manejo. Los asideros de manejo presentan dos opciones: puños desacoplables con sistema VAS y puños
fijos. En elasidero de manejo del bastidor se encuentra el interruptor de encendido y apagado de lamáquina.
El grupo vibrante ha de unirse al perfil de aluminio mediante los tornillos suministrados y siguiendo las
instrucciones especificadas en la hoja de montaje.

2.2 DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA BATERÍA:
La batería recargable de ion de litio está montada en un soporte amortiguado para resistir la vibración.
Dispone de un indicador LED de carga que se visualiza presionando el pulsador anexo y de una llave para
fijarla al bastidor de la máquina. Para extraerla hay que proceder tal y como se indica en la imagen:
2.3 DESCRIPCIÓN DEL CARGADOR:
El cargador de 4Ah dispone de un conector para la batería recargable y un cable que conecta el cargador
con la red. Dispone de un indicador LED de color rojo mientras está cargando y de color verde cuando la
carga ha sido completada.

3. CONDICIONES DE UTILIZACIÓN
¡ATENCIÓN! LEA Y ENTIENDA TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES
3.1 ÁREA DE TRABAJO
MANTENGA su zona de trabajo limpia y bien iluminada.
NO HAGA FUNCIONAR herramientas con motor eléctrico en atmósferas explosivas, así como en
presencia de líquidos inflamables, gases, o polvo.
MANTENGA a espectadores, niños y visitantes alejados mientras este funcionando la herramienta.
3.2 SEGURIDAD ELÉCTRICA. NORMAS GENERALES
NO EXPONGA la máquina a la lluvia y a la humedad.
NO TRABAJE con la máquina en caso de que se dañe alguno de los cables.
NO TRABAJE con la máquina si de daña el interruptor y/o la caja de conexiones.
En caso de detectar algún daño eléctrico en la máquina, póngase en contacto con el servicio
técnico de ENARCO o con un distribuidor autorizado.
3.3 SEGURIDAD ELÉCTRICA DE LA BATERÍA
UTILICE únicamente la batería 104490 / 5RSK0001 de ENARCO para alimentar la máquina.
CARGE la batería exclusivamente con el cargador 5RSK0002 suministrado por ENARCO.
CARGE completamente la batería antes de utilizarla.
No SOBRECARGUE la batería. Una vez que el led del cargador sea de color verde, desconecte el
cargador de la red para no dañar la batería.
FIJE la batería a la máquina girando la llave de la cerradura. Almacene la llave en un lugar seguro
para evitar perderla.
No someta las baterías recargables a IMPACTOS.
NUNCA desmonte ni abra la batería, ni tampoco manipule las conexiones.
NUNCA exponga las baterías a fuentes de calor ni al fuego.
La TEMPERATURA de trabajo de la batería está entre los -10ºC y los 50ºC.
NO EXPONGA la batería a la lluvia y a la humedad, manténgalas limpias y secas.
LIMPIE los contactos de la batería con un trapo limpio y seco en el caso de que se ensucien.
NUNCA cortocircuite la batería.
Si va a ALMACENAR la batería por periodos de tiempo prolongados, se debe realizar una recarga
completa cada de 3 meses.
Las baterías deben ALMACENARSE en un lugar seco y protegido de la luz solar.
NUNCA almacene las baterías en lugares peligrosos donde puedan cortocircuitarse entre sí o a
través de otros materiales conductores.
MANTENGA la batería alejada del alcance de los niños.
MANTEGA la batería alejada de pequeños objetos metálicos que puedar provocar un puente de
conexión entre contactos. Puede producirse un cortocircuito y un incendio de la batería.
DESMONTE la batería de la máquina cuando vaya a ser transportada.
DESMONTE la batería de la máquina cuando vaya a ser almacenada.
En caso de detectar algún daño en la batería, póngase en contacto con el servicio técnico de
ENARCO o con un distribuidor autorizado.
3.4 SEGURIDAD ELÉCTRICA DEL CARGADOR
UTILICE únicamente el cargador de la batería 5RSK0002 de ENARCO para alimentar la máquina.
Antes de utilizar el cargador, revise el CABLE y la CLAVIJA para comprobar que no están dañados.
NUNCA use el cargador si está dañado. Puede generar averías en la batería y/o lesiones en el
usuario por descarga eléctrica.
NUNCA desmonte ni abra el cargador, ni tampoco manipule las conexiones ni la clavija.

EN CASO de detectar algún daño en el cargador, póngase en contacto con el servicio técnico de
ENARCO o con un distribuidor autorizado.
NO EXPONGA el cargador a la lluvia y a la humedad, manténgalo limpio y seco.
CARGE exclusivamente baterías 104490 / 5RSK0001 de ENARCO.
NO SOBRECARGUE el cargador de la batería. una vez que el display del cargador muestre una
carga del 100%, desconecte el cargador de la red para no dañar la batería.
No someta el cargador de batería a IMPACTOS.
NUNCA exponga el cargador de baterías a fuentes de calor ni al fuego.
La TEMPERATURA de carga de la batería está entre los 0ºC y los 45ºC.
NO EXPONGA el cargador de la batería a la lluvia y a la humedad, manténgalo limpio y seco.
LIMPIE los contactos del cargador con un trapo limpio y seco en el caso de que se ensucien.
El cargador de baterías debe ALMACENARSE en un lugar seco y protegido de la luz solar.
NUNCA utilice el cargador de baterías sobre materiales inflamables o en entornos explosivos.
NUNCA utilice el cargador de baterías bajo la incidencia del sol ni a temperaturas bajo 0ºC.
NUNCA fuerce el enchufe del cargador, éste debe encajar adecuadamente en la toma de corriente.
NUNCA utilice adaptadores de red.
MANTENGA el cargador de la batería alejado del alcance de los niños.
MANTENGA el cable de alimentación y de carga limpios y evite el contacto de éstos con aceites y
sustancias corrosivas.
MANTENGA el cable de alimentación y de carga alejados de elementos cortantes.
NUNCA utilice el cable ni la clavija del cargador para transportarlo.
3.5 SEGURIDAD PERSONAL
PERMANEZCA ALERTA, con lo que esté haciendo y use el sentido común cuando maneje una
herramienta.
NO UTILICE la herramienta cuando esté cansado o esté bajo la influencia de drogas, alcohol o
medicación.
VISTA ADECUADAMENTE. NO LLEVE ropa suelta o joyería.
RECÓJASE el pelo si lo lleva largo.
MANTENGA su pelo, ropa o guantes fuera de partes móviles.
ASEGURESE que el interruptor esta en la posición apagado (0) antes de montar la batería en la
máquina.
QUITE las llaves de ajuste antes de la puesta en marcha de la herramienta.
NO SOBREPASE el límite de sus fuerzas.
MANTÉNGASE bien alimentado y en equilibrio siempre.
UTILICE equipo de seguridad.
UTILICE siempre protección para los ojos.
3.6 USO DE LA HERRAMIENTA Y CUIDADOS
UTILICE abrazaderas u otros elementos para asegurar y apoyar los elementos de trabajo en una
plataforma estable.
NO FUERCE la herramienta.
UTILICE correctamente la herramienta para su aplicación.
NO UTILICE la herramienta si el interruptor no puede ponerse en posición apagado (0).
DESCONECTAR la batería antes de realizar ajustes, cambiar accesorios o almacenar la
herramienta.
ALMACENE las herramientas no utilizadas fuera del alcance de niños y personas sin conocimientos
de la herramienta.
CONSERVE en buen estado la herramienta.
REVISE el descentrado de las partes móviles, rotura de partes y cualquier otra condición que pueda
afectar al funcionamiento de la herramienta.
Si se daña, REALICE un mantenimiento antes de usar la herramienta.
UTILICE los accesorios recomendados por el fabricante para el modelo utilizado.

4. SERVICIO
El mantenimiento de la herramienta DEBE REALIZARSE solo por personal cualificado.
Cuando revise la herramienta, UTILICE partes idénticas a las reemplazadas.
SIGA las instrucciones previstas en la sección de mantenimiento de este manual.
5. REGLAS DE SEGURIDAD ESPECÍFICAS
1.- Para el manejo de la regla vibrante deberá asegurarse que los operarios han sido correctamente
informados del contenido del manual.
2.- La regla solo se utilizará para los trabajos específicos y bajo las instrucciones de seguridad de
este manual.
3.- No opere en la salida del motor cuando éste esté en marcha.
4.- No opere cerca de líquidos inflamables o en áreas expuestas a gases inflamables.
5.- No permita a personal sin experiencia operar en el motor o conexiones de las reglas vibrantes.
6.- Mantenga la regla vibrante limpia y seca.
7.- Asegúrese que los tornillos están apretados antes de trabajar.
8.- No pare la máquina hasta que el hormigón esté completamente vibrado.
9.- No trabaje con el equipo si observa alguna avería.
10.- El nivel de potencia acústica de estas máquinas puede ser una causa de riesgo para la salud
(ver tabla de características punto 2.2). El equipo de protección acústica debe ser utilizado.
11.- El nivel de vibración de la máquina es una causa de riesgo para la salud (ver tabla de
características punto 2.2). La máquina siempre debe ser utilizada con guantes aislantes,
además del resto de componenetes del equipo de seguridad. Adicionalmente, deben realizarse
pausas de descanso cada hora.
Los elementos aislantes de la vibración deben mantenerse en perfecto estado. En caso de
deterioro debe procederse a su inmediata reposición.
ADICIONALMENTE SE DEBERAN RESPETAR LAS ORDENANZAS VIGENTES EN SU PAIS DE USO
6. PUESTA EN MARCHA, FUNCIONAMIENTO Y MANTENIMIENTO DE
LA MÁQUINA
6.1 ANTES DE INICIAR EL TRABAJO
1.- Antes de iniciar los trabajos se deberá comprobar el correcto funcionamiento de todos los
dispositivos de manejo y seguridad.
2.- Apagar el interruptor del motor situado en el asidero antes de comenzar.
3.- Inspeccionar el buen estado de los cables.
4.- Comprobar que todos los tornillos están bien apretados.
5.- Comprobar el estado de carga de la batería.
6.- Poner en marcha el motor. Si la batería está cargada al máximo, accionar el interruptor muy
seguidamente 2-3 veces seguidas. La batería tiene un sistema de protección de sobrecarga que a
veces actúa cuando la batería está cargada al máximo.
7.- Efectuar el trabajo tirando de la regla por sus asas, que se encuentran aisladas de vibración.
8.- Después de finalizado el trabajo limpiar con agua los restos de cemento adheridos a la regla.
9.- Cuando se comprueben defectos que pueden poner en peligro la manipulación, se debe
suspender el trabajo y realizar el mantenimiento correspondiente.

6.2 MANTENIMIENTO PERIÓDICO
1.- Los trabajos en las partes eléctricas solo deberán efectuarse por un experto.
2.- Durante los trabajos de mantenimiento deberá asegurarse que está desconectado de la red.
3.- En todas las operaciones de mantenimiento se utilizarán recambios originales.
4.- No es necesario una lubricación periódica de los rodamientos del motor.
5.- Inspeccionar las conexiones del cargador y del interruptor cada 100 horas de trabajo.
6.- Limpiar periódicamente la carcasa del motor para prevenir sobrecalentamiento.
7.- Después de trabajos de mantenimiento y servicio se deberá montar correctamente todos los
dispositivos de seguridad.
8.- Cada 12 meses o con más frecuencia dependiendo de las condiciones de uso se recomienda
que sea revisado por un taller autorizado.
Apretar los tornillos diariamente.
6.3 ALMACENAMIENTO
1.- Almacenar siempre la regla limpia, en zonas secas y protegidas, cuando no sea usada por
tiempo prolongado.
2.- Para evitar que se produzca corrosión, almacenar las baterías en un sitio con humedad relativa
menor del 80%.
3.- Almacenar las baterías a una distancia mayor de 2,5m de otras sustancias peligrosas.
4.- Almacenar las baterías separadas de productos metálicos.
5.- Almacenar las baterías a una temperatura de entre 5 y 25ºC.
6.- Si las baterías se almacenan por largo tiempo, tiene que ser en un lugar seco a la temperatura
especificada y se deberán cargar por completo cada 3 meses.
6.4 TRANSPORTE
1.- En el transporte se deberá asegurar la regla contra deslizamientos, vuelcos y golpes.
2.- Las baterías se rigen por una norma específica para su empaquetado y transporte, con
restricciones en algunos casos, sobre todo en los casos de transporte aéreo. Respete dichas
normas en función de los medios de transporte utilizados.
3.- Para empaquetar y transportar el cargador, no pliegue los cables, enrróllelos sin forzarlos.
6.5 ELIMINACIÓN DE RESIDUOS
1.- La eliminación de la batería debe realizarse a través de su distribuidor, del fabricante o en los
puntos de gestión de residuos de baterías destinados a tal efecto. El vendedor y el fabricante
están obligados a recoger la batería y a gestionar su correcto reciclaje o eliminación.
2.- NUNCA elimine la batería como si se tratase de un residuo doméstico, pueden producirse
graves daños al medio ambiente
3.- Proceda al reciclaje del resto de componentes eléctricos y mecánicos según la normativa
vigente para cada tipo de residuo en su país.
7. LOCALIZACIÓN DE AVERÍAS
PROBLEMA CAUSA/SOLUCIÓN
El motor no funciona
Verifique la carga de la batería.
Compruebe que cables e interruptor están en buen estado.
Accionar el interruptor muy seguidamente 2-3 veces seguidas
. Si
no arranca comprobar las otras causas.
Motor defectuoso
La regla no vibra Compruebe las uniones entre el grupo vibrante y el perfil.
Compruebe que el motor no ha sido
manipulado. Si la carga de las
excéntricas se manipula puede producirse ausencia de vibración.

8. INSTRUCCIONES PARA PEDIR REPUESTOS
8.1 INSTRUCCIONES PARA PEDIR REPUESTOS
1.- En todos los pedidos de repuestos DEBE INCLUIRSE EL CÓDIGO DE LA PIEZA SEGÚN LA
LISTA DE PIEZAS. Es recomendable incluir el NÚMERO DE SERIE DE LA MÁQUINA.
2.- La placa de identificación con los números de serie y modelo se encuentran situadas tal y como
muestra el esquema del punto 2 de este manual.
3.- Provéanos con las instrucciones de transporte correctas, incluyendo la ruta preferida, la dirección
y nombre completo del consignatario.
4.- No devuelva repuestos a fábrica a menos que tenga permiso por escrito de la misma, todas las
devoluciones autorizadas deben enviarse a portes pagados.
8.2 INSTRUCCIONES PARA SOLICITAR GARANTÍAS
1.- La garantía tiene validez por 1 año a partir de la compra de la máquina. La garantía cubrirá las
piezas con defecto de fabricación. En ningún caso cubrirá una avería por mal uso del equipo.
2.- Entodas las solicitudes de garantía DEBE ENVIARSE LA MÁQUINA A ENARCO, S.A. O TALLER
AUTORIZADO, indicando siempre la dirección y nombre completo del consignatario.
3.- El departamento de S.A.T. notificará de inmediato si se acepta la garantía y en el caso de que se
solicite se enviará un informe técnico.
4.- No tendrá ningún tipo de garantía cualquier equipo que haya sido previamente manipulado por
personal no vinculado a ENARCO, S.A.
NOTA: ENARCO, S.A. se reserva el derecho a modificar cualquier dato de este manual sin previo aviso.
9. RECOMENDACIONES DE UTILIZACIÓN
Las reglas son utilizadas para la vibración y acabado de suelos. El trabajo no necesita el uso de las guías,
se puede trabajar directamente sobre el hormigón gracias a su bajo peso. El equipo es ideal para alisar
rápida y fácilmente las losas de 6 a 18 cm según el tipo de hormigón.
Se recomienda seguir las siguientes instrucciones:
1.- Después de verter el hormigón en la estructura, se nivela una primera vez antes de pasar la
regla. Para compactar correctamente el hormigón se utilizan también las agujas vibrantes. Es
importante coger puntos de referencia en el hormigón para tener una referencia. Tanto las marcas de
pies y de la herramienta no tienen que aparecen después de pasar la regla. La oscilación llega a una
profundidad de hasta 18 cm en función del tipo de hormigón.
2.- Cuando se prepara el hormigón, la regla se pone encima del hormigón con el motor a tope y se
sostiene el tirador para evitar que la máquina salte en el hormigón. La regla se va desplazando de
forma que no tiene que mostrar resistencia, se observa que el hormigón se alisa y cambia de
apariencia.
3.- Para juzgar una buena vibración, las marcas de los pies y del perfil no tiene que verse. Si se
nota que el hormigón no es totalmente liso, se repetirá la instrucción anterior.
4.- Después se veuna mezcla que llamaremos lechada en lasuperficie(3-4 mm de agua, cemento,
partículas de arena).
5.- El agua tiene que evaporarse rápidamente y la superficie se queda mate. La capa fina de
lechada cuando fragua el hormigón actúa como un papel secante evitando el efecto de "resudada"
(aparición de agua en la superficie durante el proceso de fraguado).
6.- Después de unas cuantas horas, el hormigón está listo para adicionales operaciones de
vibración. Este proceso se hace con máquinas de alisado (simple o doble) o con equipos de vibración
(unidad cilíndrica con un sistema de vibración integrado). Estas máquinas dotan una mayor
resistencia al hormigón.

2. CHARACTERISTICS
Light screed for finishing the floors superficially. The main characteristic of this equipment is its low weight;
only one person is needed for using it. Do not use rail-guides, this machine is suitable for working directly on
the concrete mass. The aluminium beam has a high resistance and a good flatness.

2.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Vibrating screed Tornado E-BATT is made up of a vibrating group with an electric external vibrator powered
by a 24V rechargeable Li-ion battery. The vibrating group has handles for transport and handling. The main
handle grips have two options: detachable grips with VAS system or fixed grips. The ON / OFF switch of the
machine is located on the handle of the frame. The vibrating unit must be attached to the aluminum profile
using the supplied screws and following the instructions specified on this manual.

2.2 BATTERY DESCRIPTION:
The rechargeable lithium-ion battery is assembled on a shock support to resist vibration. It has a LED
charge indicator that is displayed by pressing the attached button and a key to fix the battery to the frame of
the machine. To remove it, proceed as shown in the picture:
2.3 CHARGER DESCRIPTION:
The 4Ah charger has a connector for the rechargeable battery and a cable that connects the charger to the
mains. It has a red LED indicator while charging and green when charging is complete.

3. USAGE CONDITIONS
WARNING! READ AND UNDERSTAND EVERY INSTRUCTION.
3.1 WORKING AREA
KEEP your working area clean and well lit. Cluttered benches and dark areas invite accidents.
DO NOT OPERATE power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases, or dust.
KEEP AWAY from standers, children, and visitors while operating a power tool. Distractions can
cause to lose control.
3.2 ELECTRICAL SAFETY. GENERAL RULES.
DO NOT EXPOSE the machine to rain or wet conditions.
DO NOT OPERATE the machine if any cable is damaged.
DO NOT OPERATE the machine if the switch or the connections box is damaged.
If you detect any electrical damage to the machine, contact the technical service of ENARCO or an
authorized dealer.
3.3 ELECTRICAL SAFETY OF THE BATTERY
USE only the battery 104490 / 5RSK0001 from ENARCO to power the machine.
CHARGE the battery only with the charger 5RSK0002 supplied by ENARCO.
Make a FULL CHARGE of the battery before using it.
DO NOT OVERLOAD the battery. Disconnect the charger from the mains once the light of the LED
indicator turns into green colour to avoid damaging the battery.
FIX the battery to the machine by turning the lock key. Store the key and its copy in a safe place to
avoid missing it.
NEVER subject the rechargeable battery to IMPACTS.
NEVER open the battery, neither manipulate the connections.
DO NOT EXPOSE batteries to sources of heat or fire.
Operation TEMPERATURE of the battery is between -10ºC and 50ºC.
DO NOT EXPOSE the battery to rain or wet conditions. Keep it clean and dry.
CLEAN carefully the contacts of the battery with a clean and dry cloth in case they get dirty.
NEVER short-circuit the battery.
If the battery is to be STORED for long periods of time, a full recharge should be performed every 3
months.
Batteries must be STORED in a dry place and away from the direct sunlight.
NEVER store batteries in hazardous locations where they can short-circuit to each other or through
other conductive materials.
KEEP the battery away from children.
KEEP the battery away from small metal objects that can cause a bridge connection between
contacts. It may cause a short circuit and a battery fire.
REMOVE battery from machine when transporting.
REMOVE battery from machine when storing.
If you detect any electrical damage to the battery, contact the technical service of ENARCO or an
authorized dealer.
3.4 ELECTRIC SAFETY OF THE CHARGER
USE only the battery charger 5RSK0002 from ENARCO to power the battery.
Before using the charger check the CABLE and the PLUG are in good condition.
NEVER use a damaged charger. It can cause battery failure and / or user injury from electric shock.
NEVER open the charger, neither manipulate the connections nor the plug.

KEEP the power cable and the charging cable clean and avoid them to contact with oils or corrosive
substances.
KEEP the power cable and the charging cable away from cutting edges.
NEVER use the cable neither the plug to carry the charger.
3.5 PERSONAL SAFETY
STAY ALERT, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool.
DO NOT USE THE TOOL while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
DRESS properly.
DO NOT WEAR loose clothing or jewellery.
CONTAIN long hair.
KEEP your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery, or long hair
can be caught in moving parts.
AVOID accidental starting.
BE SURE switch is off before plugging in. Carrying tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in
tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
REMOVE adjusting keys before turning the tool on.
DO NOT overreach.
Always KEEP properly fed and balanced.
USE safety equipment.
ALWAYS WEAR eye protection. Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection
must be used for appropriate conditions.
3.6 TOOL USE AND CARE
USE clamps or other practical way to secure and support the work piece to a stable platform.
DO NOT FORCE the tool.
USE the correct tool for your application. The correct tool will do the work in a better and safer way.
DO NOT USE the tool if the switch does not turn it on neither off.
DISCONNECT the battery before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool.
STORE idle tools out of reach of children and other untrained persons.
MAINTAIN tool with care.
CHECK for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condition that
may affect the tools operation. If damaged, contact the technical service or an authorized dealer before
using again.
USE only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model.

4. SERVICE
Tool service MUST BE PERFORMED only by qualified repair staff.
When servicing a tool, USE only identical replacement parts.
FOLLOW the instructions in the Maintenance section of this manual.
5. SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
1.- For the proper use of this device, please assure that the operator has been correctly informed
of the content of this manual before using it.
2.- This screed must be used only under the applications for which it has been designed and
according to these safety instructions.
3.- Do not touch any part of the vibrating group when the motor is running.
4.- Do not work in an area exposed to flammable liquids or gases.
5.- Do not allow inexperienced or not trained personnel to use the screed alone.
6.- Always keep the vibrating screed clean and dry.
7.- Please secure all the threads and bolts before working.
8.- Do not stop the screed until the concrete mass is fully vibrated.
9.- Do not work with the screed if any type of malfunction, even small, has been observed.
10.- The acoustic power level of these machines could be a risk for health (see characteristics sheet,
point 2.2). Proper protective equipment must be used.
11.- The hand-arm vibration level of these machines could be a risk for health (see characteristics
sheet, point 2.2). The screed must always be handled using isolated gloves and all the
necessary safety equipment. Besides, the user must rest each hour of effective work.
The rubber parts used for isolating from vibration must be maintained in perfect shape. In case
of damage, they must be replaced immediately.
FURTHERMORE, THE OPERATOR IS COMPELLED TO RESPECT ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS ENFORCED
6. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
6.1 GETTING STARTED
1.- Before starting work, the correct operation of all handling and safety devices must be checked.
2.- Turn off the motor switch located on the handle before starting.
3.- Inspect the good condition of the cables.
4.- Check that all the screws are well tightened.
5.- Check the battery charge status.
6.- Turn on the motor. If the battery is fully charged, operate the switch very quickly 2-3 times in
a row. The battery has an overcharge protection system that sometimes kicks in when the
battery is fully charged.
7.- Carry out the vibration of the floor by pulling the screed by its handles, which are isolated from
vibration.
8.- After the work is finished, clean the remains of fresh concrete adhering to the screed and to the
blade with water.
9.- When a defect or a malfunction has been detected, endangering the use of this machine or not,
stop the work and make the correspondent maintenance to avoid any danger or bigger damage.
