IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING –Risk of Fire, Personal Injury and Electrical Shock:
1. Read all instructions and warnings included with this tree.
2. Do not assemble or dis-assemble the tree or tree pole while plugged into an electrical outlet, disconnect plug from all
power before starting.
3. Tree sections must be fully inserted. If the sections are not fully inserted, portions of the tree may fall over. Follow
assembly instructions.
4. Keep hands away from the tree connector areas during assembly.
5. Do not alter any connections at the ends of the tree pole and do not attempt to disassemble any parts of the tree pole,
no user serviceable parts are inside.
6. Do not use with cracked or broken connectors or outlets on the tree poles, discard tree.
7. Do not leave product unattended while plugged in.
8. For Indoor Use Only.
9. Do not place near gas or electric heaters, radiators, fireplaces, candles, or other similar sources of heat or open
flames.
10. Place on a level, hard, flat surface: do not place where tree is likely to wobble due to uneven floors or thick carpeting.
11. After assembling the tree and adding decorations, make sure the tree is stable. If tree is not stable, shift the weight
of the decorations, and use support wires to walls and/or window frames (make sure they are secure also).
12. Do not use candles on this tree.
13. Do not overload extension cords or power strips, see ratings on those devices and check the rating label of the
product for compatibility.
14. Do not install near fountains, bathtubs, sinks or other areas of standing water.
15. This is an electrical product-not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and electric shock it should not be
played with or placed where small children and pets can reach it.
16. Use only the included spare LED bulbs for replacements, and replace only with the same color bulbs. Do not switch
the order of the colors of the bulbs, or switch the color of the bulbs.
17. Replace burnt out bulbs promptly. Leaving burnt out bulbs on the light string will cause additional light bulbs to burn
out early, the more bulbs that are burnt out the quicker the other bulbs will go out, potentially causing the entire light
string to go out very quickly.
18. Do not connect any other light strings or accessories to this tree.
19. Do not use electronic or motorized ornaments that plug into the light sets on this tree as the ornaments may become
permanently damaged if connected to the lights.
20. Use only with the adaptor power supply that was provided with this product.
21. If the adaptor power supply is cracked or broken, do not use product.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Risk of personal injury and electric shock
a. Watch for and replace any bulbs that may have broken during shipping and storage each year by following
the bulb replacement instructions before assembling or plugging in.
1. Carefully remove all pieces from the box and lay out parts flat on the floor. Carefully remove all protective
wrapping from the parts. Before beginning tree assembly please make sure all carton contents are present. A
complete listing and diagram of contents are listed on page 1. Do not attempt to assemble the tree if any parts
are missing or damaged. Please contact customer service department for replacement parts prior to
returning to store.
2. Take the Tree Stand out and lay the stand in a flat area. Open the legs of the
legs of the stand until it clicks into place forming an “X”.See Figure 1.
3. Remove the plastic pole protectors from the ends of tree
Sections (1) and (2) before assembling and discard.

4. Insert Bottom Section (1) into the assembled Tree Stand. Locate the
female plug with the red sticker from Bottom Section (1) and
place it near the top of the section by the center pole.
5. Insert Middle Section (2) into the Bottom Section (1). Locate the female plug
with the red sticker from the Middle Section (2). Near the center pole in the middle of
Middle Section (2) there is combined 3 male plugs with a red sticker.
Connect the female plug from Bottom Section (1) and female plug from Middle
Section (2) by inserting the female plug into the male plug, pulling the collar over the
connection point and twisting to tighten. See Figure 3.
6. Insert the Tree Top into Middle Section (2). Locate the female plug with the red
sticker from Tree Top and move it to the Middle Section (2). Connect the female
plug into the last male plug in grouping of plugs from Middle Section (2),
pulling the collar over the connection point and twisting to tighten.

7. The adaptor and Control Box will come pre-assembled on the tree at the end of Bottom Section (1). See
Figure 4.
8. Insert the plug blades on the adaptor into an 110V-125V wall receptacle for lights to turn
on. The entire tree should now be lit. If not, press the button on the Control Box to turn on
the lights. Use the Control Box to select the desired light effect. Refer to further
instructions under CONTROL BOX INSTRUCTIONS below.
9. Allow branches to fall into place or gently pull up and out. When adjusting the branches be sure that all wires
are free of branch hinges. Please note that the Tree Top does not have hinges like the Middle Section (2) and
Bottom Section (1).

SHAPING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1
Begin to shape the branches by always working from the bottom section of the tree to the top (1a). When working
each section, start with the tips closest to the tree’s center pole (1b). Fan out branch tips, one to the left, one to the
right and one at the center. Tips should be alternately placed so they do not line up one after another (1c). Branch
tips should curve slightly upwards (1d). This will create a more natural looking tree profile. Once a section is
complete, locate next section and repeat same process. Adjust branches between separate tree sections to avoid
leaving any open spaces.

STEP 2
When working on the top section, the branch construction is slightly different. Holding the top section, begin to pull
down each layer of branches (2a). Evenly space each row of branches as you work your way towards the top (2b).
Once at the top, locate the top tip of the tree. It will be the longest tip length you will see (2c). Pull this branch
straight up to create your complete tree profile. Place finished section onto the center pole and arrange branches
between sections to create a seamless look.

STEP 3
Decorate your tree by evenly placing ornaments and other decorations around the tree, making sure to balance the
weight when adding your decorations. After completing, make sure the tree is stable. If tree is not stable, shift the
weight of the decorations, and use support wires to walls and/or window frames (make sure they are secure also)
to prevent the tree from falling over.

CONTROL BOX INSTRUCTIONS
Use the control box to select the desired lighting effect.
1. If lights do not turn on when light cord is plugged into wall receptacle, press the button on control box once to
turn on lights.
2. The control box has eight programmed light functions:
a.Warm White/Multi Fading
b.Warm White Fading
c.Warm White/Multi Alternating
d.Warm White Steady
e.Warm White/Multi Slow Fading
f. Multi Steady
g.Multi Fading
h.Combination
3. Press the button at the top of the control box to advance the lights to the desired function.
4. Press the button and cycle through all eight functions to turn the lights off.

TROUBLE SHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS
Lights Troubleshooting
With proper care, the LEDs should work for many years, however, as in all products some LEDs may go out early.
This tree is supplied with spare LED bulbs just in case replacement is need, which is done quickly and easily
following the trouble shooting directions below.
Notes:
•Unlike standard sets, it is normal to see some bulbs not working, and still have the other lights in the
set still illuminating; this is one of the ways an LED bulb can go out.
•When replacing bulbs please make sure to line up the bulb locking tab on the bulb with the lampholder,
as the LEDs are polarity (directionally) sensitive, and inserting the bulb backwards may cause a good
bulb to go out and no longer work.
•When replacing bulbs, always use the same color replacement as the bulb you are replacing.
•Promptly replace non-functional, missing or broken bulbs following the bulb replacement instructions in
the safety instructions.

If the Adaptor is Not Connected to the Control Box
1. Locate the male connector at the bottom of tree Section (1) and align
matching tabs on the insides of the connector and the female end of the
adaptor. Secure the connection by tightening the collar on the connectors.
See Figure 5.
If Some of the Bulbs Are Not Working:
1. Check for any bulbs that are installed backwards (bulb locking tabs are on opposite sides of the lampholder
and bulb), remove and replace in correct direction, or replace with one of the supplied spare bulbs making sure
the locking tabs line up.
2. If bulb is not installed backwards and still does not light, it needs to be replaced, remove the bulb and replace
only with one of the supplied replacement bulbs.
WARNING –Only use with the included spare LED bulbs provided with this tree.
If a Section of Lights are Not Working:
1. Make sure that all the light string plugs within the tree are securely connected.
2. Check that all the LEDs bulbs are tightly inserted into their lampholders.
3. Check for any missing bulbs.
4. Check for any bulbs that are installed backwards (bulb locking features are on opposite sides of the lampholder
and bulb), remove and replace with one of the supplied spare bulbs of the same color following the bulb
replacement instructions above.
5. Using one of the supplied spare bulbs, start at one end and work your way to the other replacing each bulb that
is out with the spare bulb and continue the process until that section lights. See the bulb replacement
directions above. Please be sure to line up the bulb locking tab on the bulb with the lampholder, as the LEDs
are polarity (directionally) sensitive, and inserting the bulb backwards may cause a good bulb to go out.
If ALL of the Tree Lights are Off or Not Working:
1. Push the button on the foot pedal to turn on the lights.
2. Make sure the foot pedal connector is securely attached to the adaptor. (See Trouble Shooting Instructions)
3. Make sure the adaptor is plugged into a 110V-125V AC outlet.
4. Make sure the outlet has power (check to see if any switches or timers control the outlet) and not connected to
a dimmer switch.
5. If used on a timer controlled outlet, make sure the timer is rated for use with compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL
bulbs) or LED bulbs, if not, use on a different circuit/outlet.
6. If installed on a GFCI circuit or outlet, reset the GFCI in case it activated.
If a tree hinge is loose:
1. Extra hinge pin and washer is included for repairing the hinges.
2. Place the branch into the slot of the bracket.
3. Insert a new hinge pin through the hole and secure using the washer. See Figure 6.

STORAGE
WARNING: Make sure the tree adaptor is removed from the wall outlet or any other receptacle before starting.
1. Remove all ornaments and decorations from tree.
2. Disconnect the 3 female plugs from the Middle Section (2) by untwisting the collar on the connectors and
releasing the female plugs from the male plugs before removing sections of the tree. Gently lift off Tree Top,
then lift off Middle Section (2) and finally remove Bottom Section (1) from the Tree stand.
3. Carefully place the tree and stand in its carton and tape shut.
DO NOT STORE TREE IN A DAMP AREA OR IN AN AREA WHERE THE TEMPERATURE EXCEEDS 100° F.

Exclusions - This product is intended for residential seasonal use only (90 days maximum per
year), and was pre-tested and date coded prior to shipment. This limited warranty extends only
to the first consumer purchaser, and is not transferable. This warranty does not include: 1)
commercial use, 2) normal wear and tear, 3) products not used in accordance with directions
provided on or with the product, 4) burnout of bulbs or LEDs, 5) batteries, 6) products that
have been subjected to unauthorized repair, and/or modification, or 7) damage caused by
shipping, improper handling, alterations, misuse, or accidents.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED
WARRANTY. OTHERWISE THE REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND AS

REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER, AND IS PROVIDED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER
