OPERATING THE TABLE GRILL
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
!READ BEFORE USE
■CAUTION! Do not move this grill
during operation as it becomes very hot!
■Do not use in enclosed spaces! There is a
risk of carbon monoxide poisoning when
grilling indoors.
■CAUTION! Do not use alcohol or petrol for
lighting or relighting the grill! Only use
ignition aids that comply with EN 1860-3!
■CAUTION! Keep away from children and
pets!
■CAUTION! For safety reasons, the device
may only be ignited with ignition paste.
Make sure that no ignition paste gets into
the air duct. Do not use a charcoal starter
or anything similar!
■Do not remove the charcoal from the
charcoal container after lighting.
■Do not place food on the grill until the fuel
is covered with a layer of ashes!
■Never leave the hot grill unattended.
■Never touch metal parts; they can be very
hot.
■Make sure that the grate is always correctly
positioned on the supports.
■Never operate the charcoal grill without
the grease guard (part no. 5).
■Dab excess fat/marinade off the food before
grilling. This does not diminish the taste
of the grilled food; it is purely to prevent a
grease fire.
■To avoid a grease fire and to prevent grease
from flowing into the interior, make sure
that any grease dripping from the grill does
not exceed the "max" mark.
■Let the grill cool down completely before
cleaning.
■Please always choose a safe, level surface
in a suitable location to use the grill.
■The device should not be transported while
warm.
■We recommend that the grill be heated up
before first use and that the fuel burns for
at least 30 minutes.
■The charcoal container has a maximum
capacity of 150 g for Enders Beech Charcoal.
■Do not use this grill near flammable
objects.
■Do not use aerosol sprays near the device.
■Make sure that the live parts do not get wet.
■Do not allow the enamelled cast grates to
come into contact with highly acidic food.
■To prevent damage to the coating of the
enamelled grill grate due to thermal shock,
never place very cold or frozen food on it!
(Only applies to grill grates.)
■Do not allow children to play with the device.
■Do not allow children to carry out cleaning
or user maintenance.

Alternatively, the table grill can also be operated with
a certified power bank.
!
■CAUTION! Do not place the power bank too
close to the long side of your table grill.
■CAUTION! Only power banks certified
according to EN 60950-1 and EN 62368-1
may be used.

BATTERY OPERATION
FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD
!
Danger for children and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities (e.g.
partially disabled people, elderly people with
reduced physical and mental capabilities) or a lack of
experience and knowledge (e.g. children).
■Keep the device away from children younger
than 8 years of age.
■Children over 8 years of age may only
switch the device on and off if they are
supervised or have been instructed in the
safe use of the device and have understood
the dangers involved.
■CAUTION: Risk of explosion if batteries are
not handled properly.
■Batteries must not be charged, reactivated
by other means, taken apart, thrown into
fire, heated or short-circuited. Otherwise
there is an increased risk of explosion and
leakage, and gases may escape!
■Avoid contact of the battery fluid with
skin, eyes and mucous membranes In
case of contact, rinse the affected areas
immediately with plenty of clean water and
consult a doctor immediately.
■Safe handling of the batteries must be ensured:
only commercially approved AA/LR6 batteries
in perfect condition may be used.
■CAUTION! Do not use rechargeable
batteries. The temperature in the battery
compartment can be very high.
■CAUTION! Batteries may only be changed
when the device has cooled down.
■If necessary, clean the battery and device
contacts before inserting them.
■Remove the batteries from the grill when
they are flat or if you do not intend to use
the grill for a long time. This way you avoid
damage that can be caused by battery
leakages.
■Do not expose batteries to extreme
conditions, e.g. by storing them on heaters
or in direct sunlight. Increased risk of
leakage!

LIGHTING THE CHARCOAL
1. Open the battery compartment lock on the outside of the
grill. To lock or unlock the battery compartment, press
lightly against the handle. The battery compartment can
be pulled out for removal. Insert four AA/LR6 batteries.
Please ensure the correct polarity. Slide the battery
compartment back into the side panel and close it.
2. Fill the charcoal container completely to the brim with
Enders Beech Charcoal (max. 150 g).
3. Apply an even, approximately 10 mm-wide ring of the
Enders Ignition Paste around the hole of the ignition
bowl (approx. 20 ml). The ignition bowl is positioned in
the designated recess.
4. Switch on the fan control knob on the exterior and turn it
to the highest level to begin with (three-dot position). To
preventtheflamefrombeingsmotheredduringtheignition
process,the fan mustremainswitched on until the charcoal
is glowing completely.
5. Light the ignition paste. Do not touch the open flame.
6. Place the filled charcoal container together with the
grease guard on the ignition bowl. Make sure that the
charcoal container is resting evenly on the ignition bowl.
7. Place the grill grate on the designated holders on the
outer sides. Make sure that the grill grate is supported
evenly.
8. After approximately 10 minutes, the charcoal will be
glowing completely, and the AURORA is ready for use. Do
not place food on the grill until the fuel is covered
with a layer of ashes! You can adjust the grate heat to
suit your needs using the control knob on the side.

CLEANING THE TABLE GRILL
DISPOSAL
The product packaging is made of recyclable materials.
Please dispose of packaging according to material type
in the designated collection containers.
If you no longer wish to keep the article, do not throw it
in the household waste. Ask your local waste disposal
company or municipal administration about possibilities
for environmentally friendly and resource-conservative
disposal.
Empty batteries must be disposed of in accordance with
the legal regulations (BattG). Empty batteries must not
be disposed of with household waste. As a consumer,
you are legally obliged to dispose of all rechargeable
and non-rechargeable batteries, whether they contain
harmful substances* or not, at a collection point in your
community, district or retail outlet so that they can be
disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
*marked with: Cd = cadmium, Pb = lead
Only dispose of used charcoal in metal or other non-
flammable containers intended for this purpose. Do not
place them in plastic containers or other containers
made of flammable materials.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
■Despite careful processing
of all individual parts, individual
components may have sharp edges.
For this reason, wear safety gloves
to prevent cuts.
■Hot surface: wait until the charcoal grill has
cooled down sufficiently before cleaning.
■Do not use flammable cleaning agents.
■Make sure that the live parts do not get wet.
■To avoid a grease fire and to prevent grease
from flowing into the interior, make sure
that any grease dripping from the grill does
not exceed the "max" mark.
■Do not allow children to carry out cleaning
or user maintenance.
■Clean the grill completely after each use.
■Do not use abrasive or chlorinated cleaning agents.
■Use a mild detergent and warm water to clean the
varnished body and plastic parts. Then dry the
surface with a soft cloth.
■The reflector trough, the charcoal container,
the grease guard and the ignition bowl can be
easily cleaned of grime and grease residues with
Enders Rack Cleaner/Barbecue Cleaner. All four
components are made of stainless steel and
therefore also dishwasher safe.
■We recommend Enders Rack Cleaner/Barbecue
Cleaner for cleaning the grill grate.
■Dry the grill completely before the next use.

WARRANTY
We grant a 2-year warranty on the functioning of the
device. The proper handling of the device and official
proof of the date of purchase are required for the
warranty to be applicable.
The warranty expires at the end of the warranty period
or immediately if you make any modifications to the
device yourself. No modifications may be carried out on
components that have been sealed by the manufacturer
or their representative!
If, despite our quality checks, your product should be
defective, please do not bring it back to the retailer but
contact Enders directly. By doing so, we can ensure a
