OUTSWING SILLS
Orientation:
Align interior edge of sill with interior edge of jamb.
Align interior edge of sill with interior edge of jamb.

SILL AND JAMB ASSEMBLY
a. Place the sill ush against the predrilled jamb. b. Drive and seat screws (#8 x 1-1/2") through the
jamb, into the screw bosses.
Screws Needed:
• #8 x 1-1/2" (2)
• #6 x 1" (2) - For Optional Bracket
c. Drive and seat the bracket screws (#6 x 1")
through the bracket, into the jamb.
Align interior edges
of sill and jamb.
IF BRACKET IS INSTALLED
Please Note:
• Brackets are not available on sills with C-Notches.

ADAPTIVE SILL - SIDELITE SEAT ASSEMBLY
STEP 1: CUT SIDELITE SEAT TO DESIRED LENGTH
STEP 2: ORIENT SIDELITE SEAT AS SHOWN
STEP 3: PRESS SIDELITE SEAT INTO POSITION

a. Sidelite is fully seated when front and back edges are ush with the sill.

Sidelite seat does NOT require notching.

ADAPTIVE SILL - CAULKING STRIP ASSEMBLY
STEP 1: MEASURE AND CUT TO LENGTH STEP 2: ORIENT CAULKING STRIP
STEP 3: INSERT OTHER SIDE - SLIDE/PRESS ALONG LENGTH
a. Align end of caulking strip and sill.
b. Engage hook on one edge with tab on
sill.
a. Engage hook on opposite side with sill tab. b. Press down on second edge, sliding along the
length of the strip to engage.
c. Properly assembled caulking strip.
