Visual Y20-6000 re-lamp procedure
Lamp removal
Shut down power to the
illuminator before removing
cover
Remove upper Philips head
screws located on the front
and back of 6004 cover
Lift off the cover ...
… and set aside.
The Y20-6000 is the
indicated assembly
Locate the indicated 2-wire
lamp connector plug Separate the connecter as
shown
Using two fingers to support
the assembly … … unscrew top two Phillips
head screws as shown Carefully remove the old Y20-6000
from the illuminator chassis

CAUTION!!
DO NOT TOUCH LAMP GLASS
w/ fingers
Carefully place your new Y20-6000
assembly in the illuminator chassis
as shown
Make sure not to cross thread the
assembly mounting screws -
hand tighten only
Locate both ends of the
lamp connector ... … and connect as shown
Slide cover back on chassis and make sure that
the bottom screw holes line up properly Secure cover with the screws you first removed -
Re-apply power and turn unit on.
