|How UV-C Light Works |
The anti-microbial properties of UV-C light [Ultraviolet light - C band] are well nown to scientists and
has been used since the 1930's to ill germs containing DNA and RNA [including bacteria, viruses, fungi
and mould]. UV-C light is invisible to the human eye.
It is at a higher frequency than UV-B light used in tanning salons. While UV-C is invisible, given sufficient
intensity and exposure, it can ill most of the germs responsible for causing diseases in humans and
animals. UV-C wor s by destroying the DNA and RNA [genetic material] of pathogens [disease causing
bacteria, viruses, mould, etc.]. Once the DNA in a pathogen has been destroyed, the micro-organism is
either illed or deactivated, it can no longer function properly, it can no longer reproduce. We invite you

|urelight UV Light Wand O ERATION |
Set Up for Purelight UV Light Wand:
Assemble the power cord.
Insert power cord connector into the handle of the Purelight UV Light Wand
Plug AC cord into electrical outlet.
Battery Operation Summary:
The Purelight UV Light Wand has four different modes of operation (including “Ready Mode”)
1. Ready / Off Mode [Standby]
2. Safety Mode Operation [5minutes]
3. Basic Mode Operation [2hours]
4. Serial Mode Operation [Serial]
PLEASE NO E : O URN OFF UV LAMP FROM SAFE Y, BASIC AND SERIAL MODE OPERA ION,
PRESS BU ON ONCE.
A. Ready/Off Mode [Standby Indicator]:
When plugged in green “charge” light come on to tell you that the
battery is recharging and/or ready to use, also “- -” light comes on to
tell you that you’re in “Ready/Off Mode”. Push switch button once to be
in “Ready/Off Mode”
󳢯Please note that from “Ready /Off Mode” Purelight will shut off
automatically.
B. Safety Mode Operation [5 minute Indicator]:
1. Note that when the switch is pushed once, it will ma e a “beep”
sound, but the UV lamp is still not on.
2. To enter “Safety Mode” [5 minutes], rapidly press the switch twice.
After successfully pressing the switch, there will be a “beep” sound
and [05] light plus the green “Lamp” light at the top left hand corner
of the indicator panel will come on indicating that Purelight is in the
“Safety Mode”
󳢯This green “Lamp” light indicates whenever UV lamp is ON.
3. When using the “Safety Mode” [5 minutes]. the UV lamp will
automatically shut off after 5 minutes.
4. While in “Safety Mode” [5 minutes], every 10 seconds there will be a “beep” sound. Since in most
cases, it only ta es 10 to 20 seconds of direct exposure of UV-C light to ill most household
germs, the intermittent “beep” sounds can be used as a timing signal to gauge necessary
exposure of an object or area being sanitized.
5. To turn off the UV lamp before 5 minutes, simply push the switch once.

C. Basic Mode Operation [2 hour] RECOMME DED MODE OF
OPERATIO
1. Push the switch rapidly 3 times to enter “Basic Mode” [2 hour]. The
device will ma e a “beep” sound, [2h] light will come on plus the
green “Lamp” light at the top left hand corner of the indicator panel
will come on indicating “Basic Mode” [2 hour]. The unit will now stay
on for 2 hours and then shut off automatically.
2. While in “Basic Mode” [2 hour], there will be a “beep” sound every
10 secondes.
3. To turn off the lamp before 2 hours, simply push the switch once.
●Please maintain plug in when you operate over an hour.
D. Serial Mode Operation [Serial]:
In this mode the unit will continue to operate until the customer turns
the unit off by pressing the ON/OFF switch once.
1. Push the switch 4 times rapidly to enter “Serial Mode” [Serial]. On
entering this mode of operation, the device ma es a “beep” sound
and [CC] light will come on plus the green “Lamp” light at the top left
hand corner of the indicator panel indicating “Serial Mode” [Serial].
2. In “Serial Mode” [Serial] there will NOT be a “beep” sound every 10
seconds.
3. To SHUT OFF the unit, simply push the switch once.
4. At all times, the green LED “Lamp” signal light indicates the UV lamp is ON.
●Please maintain plug in when you operate overan hour.
E. How to charge
1. Charging starts by plugging in the adapter into an outlet.
2. Purelight operates for 60 minutes by charging for 3 hours.
3. Be sure to charge once every two months.
4. When not in use for a long period of time, ma e the unit fully charged and eep in a safe place.
5. Use regular adapter and rechargeable battery only supplied by Purelight.
6. Purelight XD has Lithium ion rechargeable battery inside of unit (Built-in). This ma es it possible
both of portable operation (plug-off) and long time continuous operation in one place (plug-in).
|Guidelines for Common Household and ersonal Item Applications |
1. Personal hygiene items: Expose items such as personal use razors, hair brushes, combs and other
personal hygiene implements at close range (a few inches or less) for a minimum of 10 seconds.
2. Kitchen utensils: Hold the wand at close range, exposing nives, utensils, chopping boards for a
minimum of 10 seconds. Use away from water sources.

(A) Using Purelight with tripod.
Attach PureLight to tripod and be sure to set up PureLight at “2hr mode”exposing UV light
wherever you desire.
(B) Hold the Purelight approximately 2 inches [5cm] above the surface and move side-to-side slowly.
(C) Stabilize the PureLight using a corner of bed, facing the surface and turn it on for 30min.
4. Animal bed and enclosures: Hold the Purelight approximately 2inches [5 cm] above the surface and
move side-to-side slowly.
5. General Bathroom (Germs and odours): Hold the wand approximately 2 inches [5 cm] above the
surface of the toilet seat and slowly move the wand sideways over the entire surface for a total of 20
seconds. Be careful not to immerse the wand in the water.
6. To control airborne germs in the bathroom, turn on the device and hang it in the bathroom for one
hour when it is unoccupied. Keep bathroom loc ed if there are children in the house.
7. Smelly rooms: To minimize/eliminate musty smells in the rooms, leave the device on for two hours
to ill germs and moulds while the room is unoccupied. Keep room loc ed if there are children in
the house.
8. Footwear: Expose once a wee at close range for five minutes to help ill germs that cause athlete's
foot. Expose the soles of your shoes more frequently - the soles of shoes are the major source of
bringing bacteria into the home!
9. Computers, Door nobs, Telephones, etc.: Expose at a distance of 2inches [5 cm] for 10 seconds.
10. When in doubt, effective disinfecting can generally be achieved in 20 seconds at a distance of about 2
inches [5 cm].
|Guidelines for Hospital /Clinic /Dental Office |
1. Scanning Purelight slowly on any area where patients have spent a lot of time such as reception,
examination and patient rooms.
2. Intensive scanning is required for surroundings of patients with contagious disease, heavily illness or
wea er immune system.
3. Shining Purelight on the high contact surfaces li e curtains, cabinets, counter tops, bedrails, lift
tables, phones, light switches, remote controllers, door handles, toilet seats and infusion pumps.
4. Shining on anywhere we need immediate and safe disinfections such as sudden bio-hazardous spills
and hygienic water.
|Guidelines for Nursing Home |
1. Scanning Purelight slowly on any area where residents have spent a lot of time such as lounges,
examination rooms and resident rooms.
2. Intensive scanning is required for toilet, examination room and surroundings of patients with heavily
illness or wea er immune system.
3. Shining Purelight on the high contact surfaces li e bed, curtains, cabinets, counter tops, bedrails, lift
tables, phones, light switches, pens, drawers, remote controllers, door handles, toilet seats and
infusion pumps.

4. Shining on anywhere we need immediate and safe disinfections such as sudden bio-hazardous spills.
5. Hanging Purelight on the wall in room and toilet during human absence reduces odors and airborne
bacteria.
6. Shining on the wall or flooring will also bring fresh smells free from molds.
7. It also ills eggs of lice, flea and bedbugs. Hence it can reduce or prevent bed bugs.

be free from defects in manufacture and materials for 90 days from the date of purchase. If equipment
failure or malfunction occurs during the warranty period, Enputech Co., Ltd. shall examine the
equipment and have the option of repairing or replacing any part(s) which in the judgement of Enputech
Co., Ltd. were originally defective or become so under conditions of normal usage and service.
No warranty shall apply to any instruments or part there of, that has been subjected to accidents,
neglect, alterations [including removal of any name labels or warning placards], abuse or misuse by the
end user. In no event shall Enputech Co., Ltd. be responsible to the end user for any incidental or
consequential damage, where foreseeable or not, including but not limited to property damage, inability
to use equipment, lost business, lost profits, or inconvenience arising out of or connected with the use of
instruments produced by Enputech Co., Ltd.
