GENERELT
• Forkert brug af produktet kan medføre personskade og beskadige apparatet.
• Anvend kun produktet til det, det er beregnet til. Producenten er ikke ansvarlig for
skader, der opstår som følge af forkert brug eller håndtering.
• Anbring altid produktet på et tørt, plant og stabilt underlag på god afstand af bordkant
eller lignende.
• Produktet er udelukkende beregnet til husholdningsbrug. Produktet må ikke anvendes
til erhvervsbrug.
• Produktet må kun sluttes til 220-240V,50/60Hz.
• Produktets motordel/elektronik, ledning og stikket må ikke nedsænkes i vand, og der
må ikke trænge vand i motordel / elektronik.

LEDNING OG STIK
• Lad ikke ledningen hænge ud over bordkanten.
• Hold ledningen og produktet væk fra varmekilder, varme genstande og åben ild.
• Tag stikket ud af stikkontakten før rengøring, og hvis apparatet ikke er i brug. Undlad
at trække i ledningen, når du tager stikket ud af stikkontakten, men tag fat om selve
stikket.
• Sørg for, at ledningen er rullet helt ud.
• Kontrollér jævnligt, om ledningen eller stikket er beskadiget, og brug ikke produktet,
hvis dette er tilfældet, eller hvis det har været tabt på gulvet, tabt i vand eller er blevet
beskadiget på en anden måde.
• Hvis produktet, ledningen eller stikket er beskadiget, skal produktet efterses og om
nødvendigt repareres af en autoriseret reparatør. Forsøg aldrig at reparere produktet
selv. Kontakt købsstedet, hvis der er tale om en reparation, der falder ind under
reklamationsretten. Hvis der foretages uautoriserede indgreb i produktet, bortfalder
reklamationsretten.

BORTSKAFFELSE AF PRODUKTET
Brugte produkter må ikke smides i husholdningsaffaldet. Iht. Lovforskrifterne skal det ud-
tjente produkt bortskaffes på ordentlig vis. Derved genanvendes de brugbare materialer, og
miljøet skånes. Nærmere informationer fås hos den ansvarlige kommunale myndighed eller

Vær opmærksom: Sæt ikke skålen direkte på varmepladen, når der koges æg. Brug ikke
skålen før den er sat på hylden.

FØR BRUG
1. Udpak al emballage.
2. Sørg for at strømforsyningen er i overensstemmelse med apparatets tekniske data.
3. Brug en strømforsyning med jordforbindelse.
4. Før første brug, rengør eller kog vand to gange og hæld overskydende vand væk.

BRUGSANVISNING
1. Damp æg: Tilsæt den rette mængde vand (se oversigten nedenfor for specifik vand-
mængde) med en kop ifølge præferencer. Sæt æggene på holderen og sæt top låget
oven på.
(Følgende oversigt er vejledende og der kan varieres efter personlige præferencer.)
2. Tilslut stikket til en stikkontakt, tryk tænd knappen ned og indikatorlampen lyser for
at vise, at apparatet er tændt. Når indikatorlampen lyser og indikerer, at apparatet er
tændt, skal der ikke trykkes på tænd knappen igen.
3. Når vandet i æggekogeren er tørkogt vil apparatet automatisk slukke og indikatorlam-
pen tænder igen, for at indikere, at æggene er færdigkogte.
4. Om nødvendigt kan stikket trækkes ud af stikkontakten under brug, for at slukke
apparatet.
VÆR OPMÆRKSOM:
1. For at undgå, at æggene sprækker, prik et lille hul i æggets tykkeste ende med æg-
genålen på målekoppens bund før tilberedning og sæt æggene på holderen med den
tynde ende nedad.
2. Sæt de kogte æg under koldt vand. De vil blive lettere at pille og smagen vil blive
bedre.

vand og underkogte ved for lidt vand)?

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing a product from Epiq. You have acquired a quality product which
meets all applicable performance and safety standards in the EU. In order to ensure proper
treatment and a long product life, we recommend that you comply with the instructions
below.
Please read the manual and especially the safety instructions carefully before using the
device. Keep this manual and provide it for referral along with the product when others are
using it.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
GENERAL
• Improper use of the product can cause personal injury and damage.
• Only use the product for what it is intended. The manufacturer is not liable for dama-
ges arising from improper use or handling.
• Always place the product in a dry, flat and stable surface well away from table edge or
similar.
• The product is intended for household use only. The product is not for professional
use.
• The product may only be connected to 220-240V,50/60Hz.
• The product engine/electronics, cord or plug cannot be submerged in water, and no
water may get in contact with the engine/electronics.
• Never touch the product, cord or plug with wet or damp hands.
• Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, dust or
corrosive substances.
• Never leave the product when it is turned on.
• When the product is in use, it should be kept under constant supervision. Children
should always be supervised when using the product to ensure that they do not play
with the product. The product is not a toy.
• The product may have sharp parts and must, therefore, be kept out of reach of chil-
dren.
• Only use the accessories that come with the product or that are recommended by the
manufacturer.
• The product must not be used by people with reduced sensitivity, physical or mental
disability, or people who are not able to operate the product unless they are supervi-
sed or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.

CORD AND PLUG
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge.
• Keep the cord and the product away from heat sources, hot objects and open
flames.
• Unplug the power cord before cleaning and if the appliance is not in use. Do not pull
the cord when removing the plug from the socket, rather grasp the plug itself.
• Make sure that the cord is fully extended.
• Check regularly that the cord and the plug are not damaged and do not use the
product if this is the case, or if it has been dropped on the floor, dropped in water or
damaged in another way.
• If the product or plug is damaged, the product must be inspected and, if necessary,
repaired by an authorised repairer. Never try to repair the product yourself. Please,
contact the store to see if there is a repair that falls under warranty. Tampering of the
product will void the warranty.
RULES OF COMPLAINTS
THE WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY:
• If the above is not observed
• If there has been unauthorised intervention of the device
• If the appliance has been mishandled, subjected to rough treatment or some other
form of damage
• If faults have arisen because of faults in the distribution system
PRODUCT DISPOSAL
Used product should not be disposed as household waste. According to legislation,
the product should be disposed of properly so that the materials can be recycled in an
environmentally friendly manner. Further information is available from the responsible local
authority or local disposal company. The product is equipped with the following logo:

Attention: Please do not put the bowl on the heating plate directly when boiling eggs. Do
not use bowl until it is put on the shelf.

NOTICE BEFORE USE
1. Unwrap its packages.
2. Check whether the voltage indicated on the rating label is consistent with your voltage
used.
3. Please use a ground power.
4. For the first use, please wash or boil it with water twice and pour away the residual
water.
HOW TO USE
1. Steam egg: Add appropriate water (Please refer to the table below for specific water
volume) with a cup according to your own favor, put based on your favor, put the eggs
on the shelf stably and then get the top cover on.

2. Connect the power, press down the power button and the indictor lights which has
shown that the egg boiler is working. Provided the indicator lights once the power is con-
nected, it shows the power is connected and the egg boiler has been working directly and
please do not press the power button any more.
3. The power will be turned off once the water in the egg boiler is dry-boiled and it will
indicate the steamed egg is ready when the indictor lights.
4. If necessary, you may pull out the plug to cut off the power during the cooking process.
ATTENTION:
1. In order to avoid crack on the egg shell, please strike several small holes on the big
part of the egg with an egg pin at the bottom of the measuring cup before cooking and
then put the small part on the shelf.
2. Put the steamed egg into cold water and it will be easier to shell and more delicious to
taste.
CAUTIONS:
1. Please keep the child away when this unit is working.
2. Do not connect the power when the cover is left off so as to avoid any personal injury
caused by the spilt boiling water.

3. Do not use it in your absence.
4. The egg boiler shall be put on a solid platform during use. Do not press too hard so as
to avoid any damage of the power switch.
5. The unit shall not be used on the surface or in the vicinity of a heat-labile object such
as carpet and plastics. Do not put those which will be dampened by steam on the top
of this unit.
6. Do not add the water or pull out the plug when the water is dry-boiled. Please do not
touch the heating plate so as to protect yourself from being scaled.
7. Be cautious about the steam from the vent so as to prevent yourself being scaled.
8. No liquid entry is allowed in the internal egg boiler so as to avoid any danger.
9. Any replacement shall be made by the full-time personnel from the manufacturer or
a department which is similar with a maintenance and repair service center once the
power cord is damaged so as to avoid any danger.
10. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
11. Avoid injuries from the egg pricker;
12. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Maintenance and Repairs
1. Please pull out the plug from the socket after use.
2. Do not clean it until the power is turned off and the egg boiler is cooled.
3. The shelf and cover can be cleaned with a washing detergent or sponge. Do not clean
with a hard steel wire so as to avoid any surface damage.
4. Do not put the whole unit into the water to wash. The machine surface can be wiped
with a wet towel. It is not allowed to be rinsed with water so as to avoid any electric
leakage and occurrence of faults.
5. Please clean and wipe the unit and put it into its packages if you want to lay it up for a
long time. Put it in a ventilated and dry place so as to avoid being dampened to cause
any problems on its normal use.
ANALYSIS ON FREQUENTLY-ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Indicator light does not work:
a. Power failure?

b. Whether the power cord is plugged in the socket?
c. Whether the socket power is on?
d. Whether the power button has been pressed yet?
2. Egg is over done or under done
a. Whether the water is too much or not enough (It will appear over done with too
much water and under done with insufficient water)?
Remarks: If those faults are still unresolved with above-mentioned analysis or any other
faults exist, please contact our maintenance and repair service points or dealers. A
non-authorized personnel is not allowed to disassemble this product without permission.
