1. PRESENTACION
El REVESTIMIENTO EQUATION EQH-70 se suministra totalmente montado de fábrica, y se compone de:
-1 Hogar EQH-70
-1 Revestimiento de chapa
-1 Tubo de chimenea decorativa extensible
2. FUNCIONAMIENTO
El revestimiento EQUATION EQH-70 evacúa el aire caliente a la estancia por convección natural.
El aire frío de la estancia entra por las ranuras laterales y posteriores “A”, saliendo el aire ya caliente por
las ranuras superiores “B”.
El tubo decorativo de chimenea, hace la misma función que la envolvente de chapa, evacuando el calor
de la chimenea de trabajo del interior.

3. TRANSPORTE
El REVESTIMIENTO EQH-70 se suministra montado de fábrica, solo la chimenea decorativa debe ser
instalada por el usuario. Debe tener en cuenta para el transporte de hogar a su lugar definitivo de
instalación, las dimensiones totales del aparato y su peso (ver capítulo 8 DATOS TÉCNICOS).
El revestimiento se suministra montado sobre un pallet de 1100 x 9 0mm y cubierto con una caja de
cartón triple. Una vez ha quitado el embalaje original, verifique que el aparato no presenta golpes o
defectos visibles, si es así, no comience su instalación. Debe ponerse en contacto con su distribuidor
EQUATION.
¡MUY IMPORTANTE! SU REVESTIMIENTO ESTA PINTADO, ANTES COMENZAR A DESPLAZARLO DEBE
PROTEGERLO C ONVENIENTEMENTE POR SU EXTERIOR, PARA EVITAR GOLPES.
UTILICE PARA ELLO TELA, CARTONES, PORESPAN ETC..
DEBE PONER ESPECIAL CUIDADO EN PROTEGER LAS ZONAS DE APOYO Y SUJECCIÓN DURANTE EL
TRANSPORTE.
Siempre que sea posible desplace el revestimiento
sin bajarlo del pallet, utilice para ello una
traspaleta.
Si las dimensiones del pallet dificultan la
manipulación por el interior de la vivienda o este
superase la anchura de las puertas del local de
instalación, puede quitarlo y apoyar el
revestimiento sobre la traspaleta.
Si para el transporte va a utilizar una carretilla de
mano debe tener el cuenta el peso del aparato es
de 35 kg, y que la mayor parte del mismo se
encuentra en la parte superior.
Cuando utilice una carretilla de mano queda
totalmente prohibido cargar el revestimiento por
su parte frontal.
Siempre debe ten er especial cuidado en proteger
de los golpes todas las zonas d e apoyo.

1. Quitar los cuatro tornillos que sujetan el
zócalo frontal por su parte inferior (dos
tornillos en cada lado del revestimiento).
. Una vez quitados los tornillos desplazar el
zócalo hacia el frente.
En caso de que la instalación del revestimiento sea en un lugar de difícil acceso, o bien el aparato se tenga
que subir a una segunda planta y sea necesario subirla por escaleras, puede desmontar el revestimiento.
Para esto debe seguir fielmente las siguientes instrucciones:
¡DEBE! Tener mucho cuidado con la manipulación de las piezas, para evitar que se
golpeen o se puedan rayar.

3. Quitar los dos tornillos que sujetan el
carenado por su parte frontal (un tornillo en
cada lado del revestimiento).
4. Utilizando una llave allen de 6 mm quite los
cuatro tornillos que sujetan el hogar EQH 70 al
cajón soporte (estos tornillos están situados en
el techo de la leñera).
5. Utilizando una llave allen de 5 mm quite el
tornillo que sujeta el carenado exterior al cajón
soporte (este tornillo está situado en el techo
de la leñera).

6. Quitar el techo levantándolo hacia arriba (esta
operación se debe realizar entre dos personas)
7. Quitar el carenado, (para que el carenado exterior
pueda desplazarse hacia atrás, debe tirar hacia fuera de
los costados para liberar las patillas “A” de amarre del
rodapié frontal) exterior una ver se ha quitado el
carenado, el Hogar EQH-70 es accesible para su
transporte por individual.
Esta operación se debe realizar al menos por dos
personas.

4. INSTALACIÓN
NIVELADO DE HOGAR EQH-70
Si para el transporte del revestimiento a su situación final de instalación, ha necesitado desmontarlo,
como se indican en los puntos anteriores. Es posible que una vez montado de nuevo los bordes
exteriores del hogar no queden perfectamente alineados con el hueco del revestimiento. Para corregir
esto, la base donde se apoya el insertable tiene previsto cuatro tornillos de nivelación.
Estos cuatro tornillos coinciden con las cuatro esquinas inferiores del aparato, apretando uno u otro se
consigue que el aparato se incline hacia un lado u otro para conseguir el alineamiento con el
revestimiento.
Los tornillos de nivelación se encuentran situados en el techo interior de la leñera.
La base donde se va a colocar su REVESTIMIENTO EQH-70 debe tener una superficie plana y sin
desniveles que eviten el perfecto asentamiento. La base de apoyo debe estar construida de materiales
resistentes que soporte el peso del aparato.
Una vez tenga posicionado el revestimiento en su lugar definitivo, debe proceder a nivelarlo si fuese
necesario. Para ello siga los pasos indicados a continuación:

EQH-70 queda accesible para su transporte por
individual.
Para volver a montar el revestimiento siga estos
pasos en orden inverso.

1. Quitar los cuatro tornillos que sujetan el zócalo
frontal por su parte inferior (dos tornillos en cada
lado del revestimiento).
. Una vez quitados los tornillos desplazar el zócalo
hacia el frente, de esta manera se accede a los
cuatro tornillos niveladores de la parte inferior.
3. Gire los tornillos hasta conseguir una
correcta nivelación del REVESTIMIENTO.
4.1 Conexión de la chimenea
IMPORTANTE El tubo de chimenea que se suministra unto con el revestimiento no es un tubo de
traba o, su función es decorativa, la chimenea debe estas instalada con un tubo comercial (puede ser
calorifugáda o de pared simple etc.)
Para la conexión de la chimenea así como su configuración vea el capítulo INSTALACIÓN del manual de
instrucciones del insertable Hogar EQH 70.
Una vez debidamente instalada y sellada la chimenea de trabado, se puede instalar la chimenea
decorativa. Siga las instrucciones señaladas a continuación:

1. Tome el conjunto completo de tubo decorativo y el primer metro
de chimenea de trabajo. Y llévelo a la conexión con el
revestimiento.
. Sin bajar la chimenea decorativa baje el tubo de trabajo y séllelo
sobre la salida de chimenea del hogar.
3. baje tubo decorativo y encájelo sobre la conexión de la campana (la chimenea decorativa tiene dos
pitones guía y la conexión de la campana dos agujeros para el posicionmado, debe hacerlos coincidir).
4. Una vez montada la chimenea decorativa cobre el revestimiento, siga montando los tubos de la
chimenea de trabajo. Una vez puestos los metros necesarios, extienda la chimenea decorativa hasta que
el plafón llegue al techo de la estancia. Amarre el plafón al techo.

5. SEGURIDAD
¡CUIDADO! Todo el exterior del revestimiento puede alcanzar altas temperaturas durante su
funcionamiento, estas partes están declaradas como activas.
Advertencia
Los aparatos a gas/leña/pellet se calientan durante el funcionamiento.
En consecuencia, hay que actuar con precaución y mantenerse ale ado especialmente evite la cercanía
de los niños, ancianos u otras personas que requieran de especial atención así como mascotas
mientras que el aparato este encendido.
Asegúrese que los niños u otras personas no familiarizadas con el funcionamiento del aparato sean
supervisados por personas responsables cuando se acerquen a él.
Para la protección de quemaduras y para proteger el acercamiento de niños o personas que no deban
entrar en contacto con el aparato coloque un cortafuego o separador recomendamos el uso de
guantes ignífugos para manipular el aparato.
5.1. TEMPERATURAS MAXIMAS.
En la siguiente figura se señalan las temperaturas máximas alcanzadas en distintas zonas del
revestimiento en ensayos realizados en laboratorio.

1. PRESENTATION
The EQUATION EQH-70 HOUSING is supplied fully assembled from the factory and consists of:
-1 EQH-70 Fireplace
-1 Sheet metal housing
-1 extensible decorative flue pipe
2. OPERATION
The EQUATION EQH-70 evacuates hot air into the room through natural convection:
The cold air in the room enters through the side and rear slots, "A", while the hot air exits via the top
slots, "B".
The ornamental chimney flue performs the same function as the sheet metal enclosure; it evacuates
the heat from the chimney.

3. TRANSPORT
The EQH-70 HOUSING is supplied fully assembled from the factory; only the ornamental flue has to be
installed by the customer. The total dimensions and weight of the unit should be taken into account
when moving the fireplace to its final location (see chapter 8 TECHNICAL DATA).
The housing is supplied fully assembled on a 1100x9 0mm pallet inside a triple layer cardboard box. Once
you have removed the original packaging, check that the unit has no visible bumps or defects. If there are,
do not begin the installation process. Please contact your EQUATION dealer.
VERY IMPORTANT! THE HOUSING HAS BEEN PAINTED. BEFORE MOVING IT, PROTECT THE EXTERNAL
SIDES APPROPRIATELY TO AVOID KNOCKS.
USE CLOTH, CARDBOARD, POREXPAN...
TAKE SPECIAL CARE TO PROTECT SUPPORT AND HOLDING AREAS DURING TRANSPORT.
When moving the housing, try to avoid removing
it from the pallet. Use a pallet truck.
If the dimensions of the pallet make it difficult to
move inside a house or if the pallet is wider than
the doorways in the premises, remove the pallet
and place the housing directly on the pallet truck.
When transporting the unit, it you are using a
dolly truck, take into account the weight of the
unit, which is 35 kg, as well as the fact that most
of the weight is in the top part of the unit.
When using a dolly truck, it is strictly prohibited
to load the housing from the front.
Always take special care to protect all support
areas from knocks.

3. Remove the four screws that hold the front
base board in place (two screws on either side
of the housing).
4. After removing the screws move the base
board towards the front.
If the housing has to be installed in an area where access is difficult, or if the unit has to be taken up a
staircase to a second floor, the housing can be removed.
In order to remove the housing, please follow the instructions indicated below:
ATTENTION! Be very careful when handling the parts to avoid knocks or scratches.

3. Remove the two screws that hold the front
part of the body (one screw on either side of
the housing).
4. Use a 6 mm Allen key to remove the four
screws holding the EQH 70 fireplace to the
supporting structure (these screws are located
on the top section of the log chamber).
5. Use a 5mm Allen key to remove the screw
that holds the external body to the supporting
structure (this screw is located on the top
section of the log chamber).

6. Lift the top section off (this operation must be
performed by two people)
7. Remove the body (in order to move the external body
to the rear, pull the sides out a little to free the tabs,
"A", that hold the front baseboard in place). Once the
body section has been removed, the EQH-70 Fireplace
can be removed.
This operation should be performed by at least two
people.

4. INSTALLATION
LEVELLING THE EQH-70 FIREPLACE
If, in order to transport the housing to its installation location, it were necessary to dismantle the
fireplace as indicated in the previous paragraphs; it is possible that, once assembled again, the external
edges of the fireplace will not be perfectly aligned with the housing. In order to correct this situation,
the base section that supports the insert features four levelling screws.
These four screws are located in the four bottom corners of the device. By tightening one or the other,
you will make the unit tilt to one side or the other to align the insert with the housing.
The levelling screws are located in the ceiling inside the log chamber.
The base where the EQH-70 HOUSING is to be placed must be flat and free from uneven areas that
may affect its perfect installation. The base must be built using resistant materials capable of
supporting the weight of the unit.
Once the housing has been positioned in its final location, level it if necessary. This can be done by
following the instructions indicated below:
8. Once body section has been removed from the
EQH-70 Fireplace, it can be removed.
To assemble the body section again, follow the same
steps in the opposite order.

1. Remove the four screws that hold the front base
board in place (two screws on either side of the
housing).
. After removing the screws, move the baseboard
toward the front. This will provide access to the four
levelling screws at the bottom.
3. Turn the screws to ensure the proper
levelling of the HOUSING.
4.1 Connection to the chimney
IMPORTANT. The flue supplied together with the housing is not a functional element; it is for
ornamental purposes only. The chimney must be installed using commercial elements (which can be
insulated material or simply brick...).
Concerning connections to the chimney and its configuration see Chapter INSTALLATION in the EQH-70
instruction manual.
Once the functional chimney has been properly installed and sealed, you may install the ornamental flue.
