All Ergomotion adjustable foundations, depending on make and model, are designed and manufactured to perform and
function within designated quality control parameters. Bases are subject to meticulous and rigorous inspections during
the quality control process to ensure bases will operate within these standards during normal operating use.
Normal operating use is defined as the following:
-Adjustable foundation is to be operated with a mattress and load. Testing procedures require lifetime cycle
tests with up to 120kg distributed load.
The angle (designated “α” in figure 1) between the back section and the flat section for various configurations of the
mattress support platform shall be ± 3°, which translates to a tolerance of up to 1 ½”.
The angle (designated “β” in figure 1) between the flat section and foot section for various configurations of the mattress
support platform shall be ± 3°, which translates to a tolerance of up to ¾”.
Any adjustable foundation deemed to be within these allocated tolerances is considered to have met the manufacturer’s
quality control standards.

When operating a "paired" split base setup there may be a time latency up to 1.5 seconds between each bases articulation.

Legs are shipped fully assembled. Alternave heights in 3" increments can be
achieved by removing leg segments.
To install the legs, thread the leg into frame, and ghten by hand. Do not over
ghten.

Always use two people when seng up the base.
Place the bed base box in a desired locaon with the boom of the box facing
up.
Remove the binding straps and packing materials, making sure not to puncture
the box with any sharp objects.
Remove the bed base from the box. Unfold the bed making sure to keep the
boom of the bed facing upwards.

Uncoil input power cord (connected to control
box's power port) and plug into power supply.
If installing a split unit, see pages 11-12.
To install headboard brackets (sold separately),
see instrucons on page 13.
Locate the baery backup strap and install (2) 9V
Alkaline baeries (not included). Store the strap
in a convenient locaon in case of an emergency
power outage.
(For operang instrucons see page 14).
Uncoil the power cord and connect to the power
supply. Place power supply on the ground and
extend from the base. Ensure that the power
supply and all aached cords are directed toward
the desired surge protector.

Carefully ip the base over on to its legs. Important: Two people are required to
move the bed base. Do not drag across the oor. Do not rest frame on its side,
excessive pressure may damage the legs.
Plug the power cord into a power source. A surge protector is recommended.
Ensure baeries are correctly installed in the back of the remote.
Quickly test funcons to verify proper setup before placing maress on base.
Return the base to a at posion before placing the maress on top.
Setup is now complete! Test all funcons on remote.
Insert the ends of the maress retainer bar into the holes at the foot of the
plaorm.

Remote Control arrives paired to the adjustable base.
Three (3) AAA baeries are required to operate the remote.

REMOTE FUNCTIONS
A. Head Arculaon: Raises and lowers the head end of the
adjustable base.
B. Foot Arculaon: Raises and lowers the foot end of the
adjustable base.
C. Zero-G®: Preset posion that adjusts your legs to a higher level than
your heart helping to relieve pressure o the lower back and promote
circulaon.
D. Memory Preset*: Save a customizable posion.
E. Lights: Turn the underbed lights On/O.
F. Flat: Return the adjustable base to a at posion.

Unplug the Power Cord from your power outlet. Wait 1 minute, then plug it back
in to your power outlet. Perform Step 2 within 10 seconds, while the control box
light is ashing.
Remove the cover on the back of the remote and hold
the PAIR buon. The PAIR buon will illuminate and
start to ash. When the PAIR buon stops ashing, the
pairing LED light on the control box will stop illuminang.
Release the PAIR buon on the remote.

Test all remote funcons. If the remote buons do not impact the adjustable base
movements, please repeat the process again or call Ergomoon customer service:

REMOTE PAIRING
Note: The original remote that comes in the box is already paired to the adjustable
base. No further acon is required. In the event that the remote is not paired with
the base, follow the steps below. Press and hold FLAT and HEAD UP buons
for 3 seconds. When the backlight on the
remote ashes 2 mes, that means the lock
is completed.
When a buon is pressed in Child Lock
mode, the backlight on the remote will ash
twice.
Press and hold FLAT and FOOT UP buons
for 3 seconds. When the backlight on the
remote ashes 2 mes, that means the
unlock is completed.
The remote will now operate normally.

With the bases in their desired locaon,
slightly loosen both legs to allow the strap
to t on the leg bolt, between the leg
washer and frame.
Slide side (a) of the connecng strap onto leg bolt. Swing the strap and connect
side (b) to the leg bolt. Secure the strap by shiing to the le.
Re-ghten legs. Do not over ghten. Use the remaining strap and repeat on
other end of the base.

A Sync Cord is included with the base. Not available on Queen, Full or Full-Long size bases.
The Sync Cord connects the two control boxes to a single remote for the synchronizaon of two bases.
This process is most commonly used for syncing two connected TXL bases.

Connect the Sync Cord to the Mulfuncon port of each Control Box.
Plug bases back into the power source.
Unplug the base(s) from power source.
Check to ensure all cords are securely aached. Both remotes will now
operate both bases simultaneously.

Headboard Brackets are an oponal accessory and are not included.
A hex key is included with the accessory kit to complete installaon.
Connect your headboard to the aachment plate using the remaining long
screws or hardware that came with your headboard. The heads of the bolts will
face outward. Use hex key to ghten bolts.
a. Measure the distance between the mounng holes on the headboard
and install the T-Bracket to accommodate the headboard.
b. To install the T-Bracket, slide the T-Bracket through the end of the
headboard bracket. Align the at side of the T-Bracket plate to the
mounng holes on the headboard.
c. Secure T-Bracket in place by inserng two short screws through top of
bracket. Use hex key to ghten screws.
a. Align the hole in the bracket to the brass sleeve into which the leg
threads. Hold the bracket in place and screw the leg into the base unl it
is snug. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Too much force may cause the leg to spin
freely.
b. Align the tab with the hole in the frame (located towards the foot of the
base) and use a short bolt, washer and wingnut to secure the bracket.
Make sure the bolt is ght.

For emergency use only, in case of a power outage.
Baeries are not to be used for normal operaon of the bed.
Note: Detach the Baery Backup Strap and reconnect the power supply aer the
emergency is over, as the system will connue to draw power from the baeries
even if not in use.
Use the remote to return the base to a at posion.

name Baeries.

• Check under the bed base to verify that the wired connecons are secure and that there are no cords or bedding obstrucng the
movement of the base.
• Check to ensure the green LED light is illuminated on the power supply. If there is no light, verify that the input and power cords are
properly connected.
• Unplug the base for 1 minute to reset the electronic components.
• Ensure Child Lock feature is not enabled. See page 10 for more informaon.
• Plug bed base into a dierent electrical outlet, or test current outlet with another working appliance (a grounded, electrical surge
protector is recommended).
If issue is not resolved by following the instrucons above, locate serial number on warranty card or back of remote and call
