Amble Safety/warning/parts/features
Please review these instructions before beginning the installation. Check that all the components shown
below were provided with your order. No other parts are required. Do not discard the packaging until
content that the product operates to your satisfaction.

• Rock Amble back and forth for larger, or more
concentrated pools of light.

Safety instructions/warning
• Save these instructions. The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable;
when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be
replaced. Keep product dry.
— Do NOT attempt to open.
— Do NOT short circuit.
• Dimming feature not compatible with external dimmer controls. Performance
of product is dependent upon battery (if applicable) and usage. Optional
USB port is intended for use with mobile devices requiring less than 1.2A.
• About the battery (Designer series)
— Do NOT charge or handle product if it is hot to the touch.
— Do NOT incinerate or expose to temperatures above 130˚F.
— DO NOT SHIP damaged product unless directed to do so.
• Only the Amble Designer Series is equipped with a rechargeable, non-
replaceable Lithium-Ion polymer battery. Initial battery charging is required
before use. Always charge product in an open area away from flammable
materials, liquids and conductive surfaces. Allow 3.5 hours for a full charge.
Charge battery per these instructions, recommended temperature between
40˚F-110˚F. Do not use or charge battery if product appears to be damaged.

• Amble rotates from side-to-side in all three positions.
Optical feature: occupancy sensor
• Amble will automatically shut o after 30 minutes of inactivity,
and then back on as the user re-enters the space.

Optional feature: battery
• Amble’s rechargeable battery will supply illumination for
approximately 6 hours. When battery has approximately
30 minutes of life remaining, Amble will dim and pulse
twice- then will automatically reduce brightness for the
remaining life of the charge. Brightness can be increased
again, but will use the remaining battery charge more
quickly. To recharge, simply connect to included DC power
supply as shown (power requirements 24V DC, 0.75A).
Under typical usage, the battery pack is expected to
operate for up to 500 charge/discharge cycles. Available
only on the Amble Designer series
Optional feature: USB charging
• Charge your mobile devices with the built in 5V, 1.2A max.
dedicated USB charging Type-A port located in Amble’s base.
Amble must be plugged in for USB charging to occur. Available
only on the Amble Performance and Amble Designer series

LIMITED WARRANTY
ESI warrants this product to be free from defects in manufacturing for a period of 1 year on the LED transformer and 15
years on all other components from the date of original purchase. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser, and
does not apply if the product has been damaged or fails to function properly as a result of misuse, abuse, modification,
alteration, or improper cleaning or maintenance. This warranty does not apply to damage in shipment caused by carriers,
damage caused during installation, normal wear and tear, or excessive use (meaning consistent use in excess of an eight
hour shift). ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN
DURATION TO ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE. ESI’s sole obligation under this warranty or any
implied warranty, and the purchaser’s sole remedy, is limited to the repair or replacement, at ESI’s option, of the product or
any defective part. Costs (such as installation or express shipping) incurred due to replacement of products are not covered
under warranty. IN NO EVENT SHALL FELLOWES, ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, RELATED ENTITIES OR THEIR RESPECTIVE
OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, OR EMPLOYEES, BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR SPECIAL
DAMAGES.

purchase, such as the original purchase order number.
The duration, terms and conditions of this warranty are valid worldwide, except where dierent limitations, restrictions or
conditions may be required by local law.
