IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical products, especially when children are present,
these basic safety precautions should always be followed:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
DANGER: To reduce the risk of electrocution while charging:
WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or
injury to persons:
• Do not handle charging cable with wet hands.
• Do not submerge or drop the charging cable or water flosser in
water or other liquid while it is charging.
• Do not use while bathing.
• Do not place or store the water flosser where it can fall or be
pulled into a tub, shower stall, or sink.
• Do not reach for the water flosser if it has fallen into water.
Unplug the charging cable immediately if it is plugged in.
• Check the charging cable for damage before using. Never use a
damaged charging cable to charge the water flosser.
• Do not plug the charging cable into a voltage system that is
different from the voltage system specified in Specifications
(see page 2).
• Do not use this water flosser if it has a damaged cord or plug, if
it is not working properly. Contact Customer Support (see page
14).
• Do not direct water under the tongue, into the ear, nose, or
other delicate areas. This water flosser is capable of producing
pressures that may cause serious damage in these areas.
• Use the water flosser only as indicated in these instructions and
as recommended by your dental professional.
• Depending on your gums’ health, your gums may bleed the first
few times you use the water flosser. This is normal for any type of
flossing. If bleeding is excessive or continues after 2 weeks, see a
dental professional.
• Fill the water tank with water or other solutions recommended by
dental professionals only.

SAVE THESE
INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not drop or insert any foreign object into any opening on the
water flosser.
• Keep the charging cable and water flosser away from heated
surfaces.
• Do not use where oxygen or aerosol sprays are being used.
• Do not use mouthwash or rinse that contains iodine, bleach, or
essential oils with the water flosser.
• Do not use the water flosser while wearing any oral jewellery.
Remove them prior to use.
• Do not use if you have an open wound on your tongue or in your
mouth.
• If your physician advised you to use antibiotic premedication
before dental procedures, you should consult your dentist before
using your water flosser or any other oral hygiene aid.
• Close supervision is necessary when the water flosser is used by
children, invalids, or disabled persons.
• Do not allow children to play with the water flosser.
• Only use the provided charging cable to charge the battery.
• This water flosser contains batteries that are non-replaceable.
• Not for commercial use. Household use only.

Controls Using Your
Water Flosser
: Releases jet tip from
water flosser.
: Turns the water flosser on
or off.
: Cycles through Normal, Soft,
and Pulse modes. You can
change the mode at any
time, including when the
water flosser is off.
Note:
• Before first use, fully charge
the water flosser
(see Charging the Battery,
page 10 ).
• Use Soft mode for the first
2 weeks to allow your gums
to get used to the water
flosser. If bleeding continues
after 2 weeks, see a dental
professional.
1. Insert the jet tip securely
into the jet tip port. You will
hear it click into place.
2. Make sure the water flosser
is off and the port plug is
covering the charging port.
Open the water tank lid and
fill the water tank with tap
water. Press the lid closed
firmly.
3. Press to select the
water pressure mode.
4. Point the jet tip at the
gumline of your back teeth
and slightly close your
mouth to prevent water
from spraying out. Lean
over a sink and press and
hold for 1 second to turn
the water flosser on [Figure
1.1]. Let water flow into the
sink.
5. Slide the water stream
along the outside of your
gums. Pause between the
teeth to remove any plaque
or food particles
[Figure 1.2].

Maintenance
Charging the Battery
The water flosser comes with
a rechargeable Li-ion battery
inside. Use the included charging
cable to charge the water flosser.

to recharge the battery.
1. Insert the USB charging
cable into the charging port
on the water flosser
[Figure 2.1].

into a DC 5V adapter and
plug into an outlet. You can
also plug the cable into a
powered USB outlet.
3. Charging may take up to 4
hours. The water flosser is
fully charged when
turns green.

Note:
• The jet tip can be rotated
360° to adjust the direction
of the water flow.
• You can switch between the
3 water pressure modes at
any time.
• The water flosser will
automatically shut off after
2 minutes.
• The water flosser will
remember your last used
water pressure.
• Water may sometimes leak
from the sides of the water
tank. This is normal.
6. Repeat along the inside of
your gums, until all teeth are
fully cleaned [Figure 1.3].
7. Press to turn the water
flosser off.

Cleaning the
Water Flosser
1. Turn the water flosser off.
2. Fill the water tank with
clean water and allow it to
run until the water tank is
empty.
3. If necessary, rinse the water
flosser under clean running
water.
4. Dry with a soft cloth.
Note:
• Do not use the water flosser
while it is charging.
• To maximise battery life,
recharge the battery
whenever turns red.
• indicates the water
flosser has a full battery,
indicates the battery
is at half power, and
indicates the water flosser
must be recharged.
• The water flosser includes a
lithium battery that cannot
be replaced. Towards the
end of the battery life,
please recycle at your local
recycling centre.
Cleaning the
Water Tank, Water Hose,
and Water Filter
1. Turn the water flosser off
and turn the water tank to
the position
[Figure 3.1].
2. Gently pull off the water
hose and filter from the
water flosser [Figure 3.2].
3. Rinse under clean water or
clean with a toothbrush or
soft cloth.
4. Optionally, you can remove
the water filter by gently
pulling it off with a fingernail
or the flat end of a toothpick
[Figure 3.3]. Clean the filter
with a toothbrush or soft
cloth and rinse.
5. Dry all parts with a clean
cloth.

Replacing the Jet Tip
We recommend replacing the jet
tip every 3 months. Press
and discard the old jet tip before
replacing with a new jet tip.
Note: To maintain the
performance of your water
flosser, only use official Etekcity
jet tips. To buy replacement jet
tips, go to Amazon and search
[ASIN] .
Storage
1. Turn the water flosser off
and empty the water tank.
Wipe dry.
2. Press and pull the jet
tip away from the water
flosser.
3. Twist the water tank so the
line is on .
4. Place the jet tip inside the
water tank and screw the
water tank back onto the
water flosser so the line is
on .
5. Store in a cool, dry area.
Note:
• Fully charge the water
flosser before storing for
long periods of time.
• Do not store near chemicals
or corrosive gases. Do not
leave the water flosser
exposed to any chemical
solvent, lint, or dust.
• Keep away from heat
sources and direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

Because the water tank and main body

sealed, water may leak from the sides.
This is normal.

Beim Gebrauch elektrischer Geräte sind vor allem in Gegenwart von

WARNUNG: Um das Risiko von Stromschlägen während des
Aufladens zu vermeiden:
• Berühren Sie den Netzadapter nicht mit feuchten Händen.
• Tauchen Sie das Ladekabel oder die Munddusche während des
Ladens nicht in Wasser oder Flüssigkeiten und lassen Sie das
Ladekabel und die Munddusche nicht in Wasser oder Flüssigkeiten
fallen.
• Verwenden Sie die Munddusche nicht während des Badens.
• Bewahren Sie die Munddusche nicht an einem Ort auf, wo sie in
die Badewanne, die Duschkabine oder ein Waschbecken fallen
könnte.
• Versuchen Sie nicht die Munddusche herauszufischen, falls sie
ins Wasser fällt. Ziehen Sie sofort den Stecker, falls sie an eine
Steckdose angeschlossen war.
• Überprüfen Sie vor dem Gebrauch, ob das Ladekabel beschädigt
ist. Verwenden Sie niemals ein beschädigtes Ladekabel, um die
Munddusche aufzuladen.

WARNUNG: Um das Risiko von Verbrennungen, Stromschlägen,
Brand oder Verletzungen zu vermeiden:
• Schließen Sie das Ladekabel nicht an eine andere als die
unter Technische Daten (siehe Seite 4) angegebene
Stromversorgung an.
• Benutzen Sie diese Munddusche nicht, wenn das Stromkabel
oder der Stecker beschädigt ist oder wenn das Gerät nicht
ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Kontaktieren Sie in einem solchen
Fall unseren Kundendienst (siehe Seite 26).
• Richten Sie den Wasserstrahl nicht unter die Zunge, in die
Ohren, Nase oder andere empfindliche Bereiche. Der mit
dieser Munddusche erzeugte Wasserdruck kann empfindlichen
Körperteilen ernsthaften Schaden zufügen.
• Verwenden Sie die Munddusche nur wie in dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung oder von zahnärztlichem Fachpersonal
empfohlen.
• Je nachdem, wie gesund Ihr Zahnfleisch ist, kann dieses
beim Gebrauch der Munddusche anfangs bluten. Das ist beim
Verwenden von Zahnseide oder Mundduschen ganz normal.
Bei sehr starkem Zahnfleischbluten oder falls dieses mehr als 2
Wochen lang unvermindert auftritt, sollten Sie Ihren Zahnarzt
zurate ziehen.
• Befüllen Sie den Wassertank nur mit Wasser oder von
zahnärztlichen Fachkräften empfohlenen Mundspülungen.
• Führen Sie niemals Fremdkörper in eine der Öffnungen der
Munddusche ein.
• Halten Sie das Ladekabel und die Munddusche von Hitzequellen
und beheizten Oberflächen fern.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Sauerstoff oder
Aerosolen (Sprays).
• Verwenden Sie in dieser Munddusche keine Mundspülungen oder
Lösungen, die Jod, Bleichmittel oder ätherische Öle enthalten.
• Verwenden Sie die Munddusche nicht, wenn Sie Zahn- oder
Mundschmuck tragen. Entfernen Sie diesen vor dem Gebrauch.
• Verwenden Sie die Munddusche nicht bei offenen Wunden an

Bedienungstasten
Der Gebrauch Ihrer
Munddusche
: Zum Entriegeln des
Düsenaufsatzes.
: Ein- und Ausschaltknopf der
Munddusche.
: Zur Auswahl der
Betriebsstufen Normal
(Normal), Soft (Leicht) und
Pulse (Pulsierend). Die
Betriebsstufe kann jederzeit
geändert werden, selbst
wenn die Munddusche
ausgeschaltet ist.
Hinweis:
• Laden Sie die Munddusche
vor dem ersten Gebrauch
komplett auf (siehe Akku
aufladen, Seite 22 ).
• Verwenden Sie die
Munddusche in den ersten
2 Wochen auf der Stufe
Soft (Leicht), damit sich
Ihr Zahnfleisch an die
Munddusche gewöhnen
kann. Falls Ihr Zahnfleisch
auch nach 2 Wochen
weiterhin blutet, sollten
Sie Ihren Zahnarzt zurate
ziehen.
1. Bringen Sie den
Düsenaufsatz sicher am
Gerät an. Achten Sie darauf,
dass er hörbar einrastet.
2. Vergewissern Sie sich,
dass die Munddusche
ausgeschaltet und der
Ladeanschluss mit
dem Anschlussstecker
verschlossen ist. Öffnen Sie
den Wassertankdeckel und
befüllen Sie den Wassertank
mit Leitungswasser. Drücken
Sie den Deckel fest nach
unten.
3. Drücken Sie und
wählen Sie die gewünschte
Betriebsstufe.
4. Lenken Sie den Wasserstrahl
auf das Zahnfleisch an Ihren
Backenzähnen und schließen
Sie den Mund etwas, um zu
verhindern, dass das Wasser
heraussprüht. Beugen Sie
sich über das Waschbecken
und halten Sie eine
Sekunde lang gedrückt,
um die Munddusche
einzuschalten [Abbildung 1.1].
Lassen Sie das Wasser ins
Waschbecken fließen.
