Introduction:
Thank you for your purchase. The EchoMATE is a battery powered wireless DMX Transmitter or DMX
Receiver. The EchoMATE can be used for control of DMX intelligent LED par light.
Unpacking: Thank you for purchasing the EchoMATE™. Every EchoMATE™ has been thoroughly tested
and has been shipped in perfect operating condition. Carefully check the shipping carton for damage that
may have occurred during shipping. If the carton appears to be damaged, carefully inspect your fixture
for any damage and be sure all accessories necessary to operate the unit has arrived intact. In the case
damage has been found or parts are missing, please contact the manufacturer or your dealer for further
instructions. Do not return this unit to your dealer without first contacting them.
Contents in each package: (1) EchoMATE™, (1) power cord, (1) Omega Clamp Bracket Set
CHARGE YOUR FIXTURE(S) FOR 6-8 HOURS BEFORE EACH USE.Securely, plug the
power cord in the Power Input and plug the power cord into a power strip connected to a wall outlet that
supports 100-220V/50-60Hz. The Battery Charge Indicator will illuminate Red while charging or
illuminate Green when fully charged.
Warning! To prevent or reduce the risk of electrical shock or fire, do not expose this unit to rain or
moisture.
Caution! There are no user serviceable parts inside this unit. Do not attempt any repairs yourself; doing
so will void your manufactures warranty. In the unlikely event your unit may require service please
contact the manufacturer or your dealer.
How Long Does the Battery Last?
The EchoMATE will last up to 20 hours on a single full charge. If you eliminate the display to Full on you
may notice slightly shorter run time versus having the display black out after 10 -60 seconds.

Operation Guide: You can operate the EchoMATE™ by battery or AC power. To use on battery, simply
charge the EchoMATE™. Once fully charged, remove the power cord and turn the power switch on. You
can use the EchoMATE while plugged in to AC Power. To use on AC power, plug the power cord into the
power input and turn on the power switch.
You can use the EchoMATE™ with all Eternal Lighting products such as the CUBEecho™, EchoICON™,
EchoEDGE™, EliteParHEX™, ShowCUBE™. Set the EchoMATE™ in Master mode with the IR Enabled. Turn
on the wireless receiver button, and sync up the ID Group Selector (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, Purple,
Cyan, White) with the ID Group Selector on the lights. You will set your lights in Slave mode. The
EchoMATE™ Wireless Indicator will be blinking Red and the lights Wireless Indicator will be blinking
Green.

Description of use: The EchoMATE is a Battery Powered Wireless DMX Transmitter (Set in Master Mode
connected to a DMX Software or Controller) that can also be used as a Wireless DMX receiver as well....set in
Slave Mode connected to the DMX output of EchoMATE and to DMX input of any DMX Light. The
EchoMATE uses an open source 2.4ghz Wireless DMX signal. (We also have an option for Wireless Solutions
W-DMX).
If your lights do not have Wireless DMX and have 5Ch or 6CH Native color channels like RGBWA 5Ch or
RGBWA+UV 6Ch mode, then you can plug a DMX cable out of the EchoMATE into those lights.
If your lights have a proprietary DMX receiver and have 5Ch or 6CH Native color channels like RGBWA 5Ch
or RGBWA+UV 6Ch mode in them you would use that DMX Transmitter and plug into the DMX out of the
EchoMATE to use control those light with the Built in20+ Programs of the EchoMATE to trigger from the IR
Remote Plus.
Actually if your lights have RGBW 4Ch mode you can use the EchoMATE still and get amazing control you
could only get similar effect by programming your own DMX Show. The EchoMATE does the hard work for
you. Obviously the lights would not see Amber or UV if your lights do not have those colors but to be able to
trigger these other shows would still allow for you to have great control. Same goes for RGB 3Ch. Main color
mode. Obviously the lights would not see the White, Amber or UV if your lights do not have those colors but to
be able to trigger these other shows would still allow for you to have great control. You will get those RGB
colors and color mixing from the RGB colors your lights do have.
Wireless DMX Antenna: You will have best results with the EchoMATE using the wireless DMX Antenna
flipped in the out position. Be careful not to break antenna, so when finished using bend back into the recessed
housing.
Wireless DMX Distance: For best results of line of sight communication you should mount the EchoMATE
elevated at a minimum of 3feet off the ground and the higher the better. For example the EchoMATE is tested
with solid communication at 5feet off ground communicating to lights 300 feet distance of line of sight.
The EchoMATE™ is a Battery Powered Wireless DMX Transmitter. The thing that sets this apart, the
EchoMATE™ transmits 20 automated Chases and sequences to your up lighting wirelessly. Think of the
EchoMATE™ at a Pre-programed DMX Controller. We have built in10 Auto Snapping and 10 Fade programs
that are able to have adjustable speed control from slow to fast. The EchoMATE™ also has built in two
sound programs, Strobe function with ability to controlthe speed of strobe. Remember, Eternal Lighting makes
allthe difference.
The EchoMATE has two main DMX Modes.
RGBWA+UV which is 6Ch Mode or RGBWA which is 5Ch Mode.
Either Mode you still DMX Address your lights the same.

Start Up –Welcome to Eternal Lighting Screen - EchoMATE
Switch to Display- Version - RGBWAU - When RGBWAU is blinking, choose Program RGBWA or
RGBWA+UV, press UP/DOWN and Enter.
DMX Address and Channel Mode –Press Enter to move up and down between DMX Addr and
CH. Press Down/Up to scroll through choices. Press Enter to save a command then press Menu to
back out.
Master/Slave –Press Up or Down to change the command of Master or Slave, Enter to save the
command. (NOTE: In order to use the IR Remote Plus, put the EchoMATE in Master Mode. The
EchoMATE will not respond to the IR Remote Plus if it is in Slave Mode)
Manual –Press Enter to go through Red, Green, Blue, White, Amber, and UV. Press Up or Down to
adjust color brightness on a scale of 0-255. Enter to save. This serves as the Master Dimmer for all
the Pre-set colors.
SHND –Press Up to scroll through options: Color, Sound, and Fade. Enter to select cho ice.

oColor –Pre-set colors (1-50), after color 50 is AUTO change (Speed 1-8). After AUTO, is
Custom Color A –E; Enter make a custom color. You can make 5 custom colors that will be
saved under A through E.
oSound –Sound 1 (auto change colors when hears sound). Sound 2 (Strobe effect when
hears sound).
oFade –Color Fade 1 through 10. Fast (1) to slow (10).
Boot Time and Work Time –Current operating time and total run time (Note: Hours indicate
Charging and run time, The EchoMATE will add hours while it is plugged in charging using AC
Power).
Battery Capacity –Indication of Percentage left on the battery
LCD Display Time –Choose to have the Display back lit Full On/10sec-60sec
IR INFA –Enable or Disable (This will activate the ability to use the IR Remote Plus with the
EchoMATE.)
How to use the Wireless Receiver: Turn the wireless Receiver button to the ON position. There is a
Wireless Indicator that illuminates the colors in the ID Code Selector.
ID Code Selector –(ID Groups) Red (1), Green (2), Yellow (3), Blue (4), Purple (5), Cyan (6), White (7).
To change to ID Code Selector colors, press the small clickable button next to the ID Code Selector. Choose
a color, for example Blue (4), and do the same for your EchoMATE and the lights you have connected as
slave must be on the same ID Group.

Helpful Trick: To Master Reset to Factory setting your EchoMATE, press Menu and Enter button at the
same time and hold for 5 seconds. The light will go into the following factory settings. Color 1 RED, DMX
Address back to 001, Channel mode back to 6CH Mode, Master Mode, IR Enabled, Display on for 60
Seconds, Manual Colors back to 255, and put all custom colors (A-E) back to 0 color settings on all
RGBWA+UV.
Infrared remote control:
To use the IR Remote Plus control on the EchoMATE, first be sure it is ENABLE in the IR INFA mode
located in the MENU selection. Also, turn the fixture into a MASTER. To control the EchoMATE you must
aim the IR Remote Plus at one of the multiple infrared sensors located on the Bottom, the input side, the
output side, the display side of the EchoMATE.
