There are risks associated with the use of an eTrike which cannot be predicted or avoided,
and which are the sole responsibility of the rider. As with all vehicles, pracce defensive
riding to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
Electric tricycles are relavely new to the vehicle landscape. Riders are at present generally
required to obey current state and local bicycle laws and regulaons where they ride, in
addion to relevant motor vehicle and trac laws. These laws and regulaons vary by
jurisdicon. It is the responsibility of the rider to be aware of, understand and obey these
laws and regulaons and any changes therein as they aect the riding of your eTrike. For
informaon on your state and local laws and regulaons, contact the appropriate state
and local government oces directly or visit their ocial websites.
Laws in your jurisdicon may not require wearing a helmet. For your safety, eTrikeCo
recommends wearing a helmet and protecve eye wear when operang your eTrike.
Proper helmets must meet standards set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission
(CPSC).
Also, for your safety and the maximum life service of your eTrike, ensure you understand
and adhere to the capacies for your eTrike model including load, climbing ability and
maximum range.
