INSTRUCTION MANUAL
FOR HEATING STAGES
WITH THE EUROMEX AE.5168 TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER
Use:
1) Connect the AE.5168 temperature controller to
the heating stage by means of the connector at
the back si e of the controller (Z) an fasten the
connector
2) Connect the plug to the mains supply (W)
3) Set the main switch on the front panel to position 1
All igits of both isplays (A) an (B) will light
up as a test
The isplay (A) will show:
“OFF”
4) Push the on/off (F) switch
To switch the heating stage on or off.
At first use the upper isplay shows 37° C as
wante temperature for the heating stage

(A)
(B) (C)
(D) (E) (F) (G)

Note:
At a room temperature of about (23°) it will take about 8 minutes to reach a stable
temperature of 37° C
The isplay (B) shows the temperature at the sensor. This will keep on varying
aroun the set temperature!
The temperature of the heating stage will remain stable, as shown in the above
graphic
5) The esire temperature can be set by:
SET keep this button (G) presse an change the temperature
By means of pressing either button (D) or (E)
For safety the maximum temperature which can be set is limite to 50°C
6) Set the switch at the front in the position 0 after use.
Eventu l error codes:
The following error ca es can be isplaye
F1H Check if the heating stage is connecte to the controller
F1L Check if the heating stage is connecte to the controller
If it is there can be something short-circuit
F2* Check if the heating stage is connecte to the controller

EP0 or EP1 Defect of the controller. Contact your ealer or Euromex
When the isplay oes not function, check wether the main switch is in the position 1.
If it is, check the fuse.
