ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS : CAGE TO
SPIRAL STAIRCASE MODEL EUROSTAIR®
Start by placing all the cage parts on the ground.
You will get a good overview of the parts and see where they belong.
Assemble the stair according to the stairs assembly instructions.
Poles with premounted consoles are numbered by the lowest number
for assembly at the bottom of the staircase.
Don’t tighten any cosolebolts all the way, use the space provided by the
slotted holes holes to adjust the grating sections later.
Check that the handrail poles are level and that all bolts on the stair are
tightend before you connect the handrail with the attachment and fixate
the attachment against the door frame with a threaded screw.
Fixate the doorframes door frame attachment to the outside of the
centerpipe using a M12-bolt in the predrilled hole.
Fixate the door frame attachment on the doorframe to the outside of
the first/bottom step with m8 bolts.
Attach the keyhole spacer on the door frame to the centerpipes
predrilled holes and fasten with m12 bolts.

When all the sections are mounted, assemble the top and bottom steel
strip on the outside of the cage.
2. GRATING SECTIONS
Start by mounting the section labeled with “nr 1”.
Assemble the grating section to the door frame. Use 4 grating clips.
Attach the section to the consoles on the first post.
Level the door section, mount and level the following grating sections.
The sections should have equal space on both sides, symetrical from
the center of every post.
The grating sections are standard and made for stepheight 190 mm /
330 mm cc between posts. Place the sections in a even line along the
outerside of the steps. Fixate the sections to the gratingbrackets with
saddle clips.
The last two sections, at the top of the cage is mounted with only one
console and two bolts/grating brackets.
Lift the door into the door frame and on the hinges, adjust the handle
and lock to get optimal function.
Fastend the steel strip with bolts and the grating clips on the inside of
the grating section.
Everything should look straight and neat if the assembling is correct
3. STEEL STRIP
The section should be adjusted with equal space between the sections.
Four gratingbrackets is needed to each section.
Use gratingbrackets on the outside of the grating section when mount-
ing against the consoles.
