The change of address (increment/decrement) function allows us to keep better compatibility because Pelco-D protocol start
addressing cameras from number 1, but the Pelco-P protocol starts from 0. When converting from Pelco-D to Pelco-P,
address is decreased by 1 and from Pelco-P to Pelco-D address is increased by 1.
Producer: Ewimar Sp. z o.o., ul. Konarskiego 84, 01-355 Warsaw, Poland,
Power: Connect power supply 9~24V DC / AC
Input A, B: Connect PTZ control device
Term1: Termination resistor 120Ωfor RS485 input
Wyjście A, B: Connect to PTZ camera
Term2: Termination resistor 120Ωfor RS485 output
GND: Cable shield
The RS-485 terminals, must be correctly connected to other devices
Ato A and Bto B.
For longer cables of bus, both RS-485 interfaces, should be
included to terminating resistors. This will prevent wave
reflections in cables, which are cause of transmission errors.
Terminating resistors should be connected only in devices, which
are of ends of the bus. Larger number of resistors will cause an
excessive burden of transmission.
Termination resistors are placed in converter. To active it please
make wire connections TERM terminal to A+ terminal – details
