General information
You have just purchased an ExcelCare Shiatsu seat and we want to thank you for the
confidence in our ExcelCare products. The Shiatsu seat is a quality product.
The policy of ExcelCare is to continually improve the quality and reliability of our
products. We reserve the right, therefore without prior notification, to alter this
guide.
It is important that your guide for the use of the Shiatsu seat is read carefully. The
manual contains important information about the safe use and maintenance of your
Shaitsu seat. We recommend that you keep this guide, it is also your proof of
warranty and you will find it useful for referring to it at a later date.
The safety instructions in this guide are general guidelines that must be seen as
broad guidelines.
Your new Shiatsu seat requires frequent maintenance, much of which you can do
yourself.

1 INDENTIFICATION
Your Shiatsu seat is equipped with a unique identification number. You can find this
number on the frame of your seat. Below is an example of the frame label on which
you can find the identification number. Furthermore you will find the explanation of
the various data stored on the frame label listed below.
1. Production date Production date of the Shiatsu seat.
2. Serial number The unique identification number. You must have
this number when making technical requests or if
warranty parts are required.
3. Maximum user weight The largest occupant weight allowed for
protection of both the Shiatsu seat and the user.
4. Type number This number indicates which model of the Shiatsu
seat you have, again this is always required when
making technical calls.
5. Model name The model name of your Shiatsu seat.
6. Usage application Where you can use your Shiatsu seat.
7. Warranty This is the warranty period. Chapter 9 describes
your warranty terms and conditions in more
detail.

Shiatsu massage in two directions on waist;
Vibration massage on buttocks (2 vibration motors);
Micro-computer control;
Time set: 15 minutes for option;
DC12V safe working voltage.

2.4. Use of the Shiatsu seat
Step 1. Press the ’power’ button, power on. Press the ‘power’ button again, power
off. When the time is up, the Shiatsu seat will automatic shutdown. At the same time
the vibration stops.
Step 2. When the seat is power on, you can choose for different massages. Press the
‘stepping’ button if you want a stepping massage. When you press the ‘kneading’
button, the seat starts a kneading massage.
Step 3. If you press the ‘seat’ button once, the vibration will start at intensity level
1. When you press the ‘seat’ button twice, the vibration will start at intensity level
2. To get intensity level 3, you press the ‘seat’ button three times. To stop the
vibration, you press the ‘seat’ button four times.
Step 4. Time set: 15 minutes.

Working current: 2.0 A
 Warning:
The unit will be automatically shut down after 15 minutes. You have to wait for
another 15 minutes before you can use the Shiatsu seat a second time. Do not use
the Shiatsu seat more than an hour a day! Shut down the Shiatsu seat before when
you are finished using the Shiatsu seat and when you want to clean the Shiatsu seat.
2.6. Angle adjustment of the backrest of the Shiatsu seat instruction
The Angle of the backrest can be adjusted by loosen up the adjustment bar. Select
the angle you want and tighten the bar to loc kit in position.
2.7. Angle adjustment of the legrest of the Shiatsu seat instruction
To adjust the angle of the legrest, pull the handle, located on the side of the Shiatsu
seat, up, to raise the legrest. To lower or place the legrest back into its original
position, push the handle down.

3 Warranty
This warranty provisions are in line with all the other product specific guarantees and
apply only to the first owner. If a not specified, belonging the product, warranty
claim occurs, it will be judged by Van Os Medical be during the warranty period. The
warranty for ExcelCare Shiatsu seat Zen is thirty-six months. During this period, the
first year the full amount covered by the guarantee. In the second year, you must
contribute a third of the costs yourself and in the third year, you need to contribute
two-thirds of the cost yourself. All common warranty will be limited to the
replacement or repair of defective parts. Van Os Medical BV will never be responsible
for any consequence, resulting from or incidental damages.
Van Os Medical B.V. only guarantees replacement parts.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, you should be aware that these rights
may vary from country to country. Some countries do not accept limited warranty, as
well as the exclusion of warranties regarding incidental or consequential damages, or
the duration of the warranty. In that case, the warranty and / or exclusions of
warranty will be adjusted.
For warranty service, you must go to an ExcelCare authorized dealer, who has the
Excel products delivered to you. If during the warranty period a non Van Os Medical.
BV designated company repairs exacted void, any warranty expires. In case you do
not have a satisfactory service or guarantee is given by your dealer, please contact
Van Os Medical BV. We will then endeavor in consultation to a mutually satisfactory
solution.
