Parts and assembly of EZ Hang Love Seat Wicker Series
. a) Cushion piece (1)
. b) Cup holders (2)
. d) Set of spreader bars (2 bars) identical.
. e) Third spreader bar used to hang foot rests and optional weather cover. This
spreader bar will have holes in different location then the other 2 identical
spreader bars. NOT TO BE USED TO HANG OR SUPPORT LOVE SEAT
IN ANY FASHION. DO NOT HANG THE LOVE SEAT FROM THIS BAR.
. f) Hardware pack: 8 hex head bolts,8 washers,8 nuts, 8 decorative plastic caps
for nuts,2 eye lags,4 S hooks,1 set chains
Place the 2 S shaped wicker arms about 50”!apart on a flat surface and place the
padded cushion between the upward sloping wicker arms. (Make sure the ropes
are facing upwards.)
Slide the two identical spreader bars through the sleeves on the underside of the
cushion.
Locate and remove the 8 machine bolts, nuts and washers from the hardware
bag. Insert the 8 bolts (2 for each corner of the chair) through the holes on the
spreader bars, lining them with the corresponding holes in the wicker arms.
The back spreader bar located at the top of the cushion where your neck or head
rests should be bolted to the front of the arms. The front spreader bar where your
thigh rests can be bolted to the back side of the arms. You can however bolt both
spreader bars to the front of the arms if you prefer.
Be sure the ropes are not tangled or caught behind the spreader bars. They must
be free and clear when lifting the chair up.

After all the bolts are placed into the respective holes, thread the washers over
the bolts, from the underside of the chair and then screw on the nuts. Tighten the
nuts until the head of the bolts pull down into the holes in the front of the
spreader bars. Cover with decorative caps. Using a rubber mallet to tap them in
place helps with this process.
You are now ready to hang your chair. If you’ve purchased our Roman Arch,
hang it from the eye bolts of The Roman Arch. If you are hanging it from the
ceiling of your porch, or a joist or rafter from your covered deck, or any other
fixed structure, you need to follow the EYE LAG INSTALLATION instructions
below.
Eye!Lag!Installation!
Locate ceiling joist (by Stud Finder or tapping and verifying with a small nail.) Be
sure to locate exact center. Using a 3/16”!(3mm) wood drill bit, drill a hole
(approx. 4”!(10CM) deep) perpendicular to the ceiling. Screw in the two supplied
eye lags until all threads have disappeared into the joist. Make certain the
distance apart is approximately 50”. Do not loosen or adjust once in place.
Important: Hole!must!be!directly!in!the!center!of!the!stud!for!full!weight!
bearing!capacity.!Spinning!or!swinging!could!loosen!and!compromise!the!
eyebolt!strength.
With a person on each side, raise the chair onto the eye lags with the “S”!hooks
provided. If the eye lags are too high, use the chain provided to bridge the gap.
Additional chain might be required as the chain provided is suited for use with
The Roman Arc.
To adjust the pitch of the Love Seat simply adjust the knots in the back of the
Love Seat. Loosening the knots and letting out some slack will recline the chair.
Tightening the knots will push it forward for a more upright position.
The 3rd spreader bar is used to hang your footrests. That bar is attached to the
chain with “S”!hooks by hanging them on the chain above the “O Rings”!at a
comfortable height. Make sure the two center eyebolts are pointing downward as
these are used to attach footrests and then make sure the two outer eyebolts are
point upwards as these are used to hang the bar from the chain. This bar is also
used to drape the optional weather cover over.
The chair should now be at a comfortable sitting height. Make sure that all the
ropes are secure, knots are properly tied, and that the eye lags are properly
installed. Also make sure all the bolts are tightened. Sit on the chair gently as it
will stretch at first. You can always take up the slack at a later time.
Important Reminders:

✓!▪The EZ Hang Loveseat is NOT a swing. We highly recommend
using only a gentle to and fro motion.
✓!▪Check the eye lag from time to time to make sure it’s holding
fast.
✓!▪A periodic visual inspection of the ropes, hardware and other
attachment hardware is recommended.
✓!▪Use a readily available fabric protector on the pad and ropes to
resist stains.
✓!▪We highly recommend hanging no more than 18”!above the
ground.
✓!▪The EZ Hang Love Seat has a rated load of 600 pounds.
Washing And Care Instructions:
Your EZ Hang Loveseat will last longer depending on its use, where it is
installed and the care it is given. It will last longer if you keep it dry and
store it indoors when not in use. To wash, scrub gently with a soft brush
and a mixture of water and a mild laundry detergent.
Warning: Not suitable for washing machines, tumble dryers or chemical
bleaches.
