Step 1:Insert the CD-ROMtoinstallthe driversand applicationsoftware.
Step 2: Connect USBVideoGrabber withanalog videosource.
Step 3: Connect USBVideoGrabber withcomputer.
Step 4: Capturevideo programsintoyourcomputerwithVHStoDVD2.0SE, and editthem.

Note:Ifyouhave anyantivirussoftware enabled,please disableitduringtheinstallationofthesoftware.

Pleaseinsert the”installationsCD-ROM”intoyourCD drive,you willgetawindow, select “Install Driver”.Inthe
nextwindows, you can chooseset up language forthe installation,when you see the “SoftwareInstallation”
window, pleaseclick “Continue Anyway”icon.Then click “Finish”icon tocompletethe installation.
The operating systemwillinstallthe driversfor ezcap USBVideoGrabber automatically.
Pleaseconnect the ezcapUSBVideoGrabber toyourcomputer,you shouldsee awindow, select “Yes, this
timeonly”, and then select “Install the softwareautomatically(Recommended)”,select “Continue Anyway”.Wait
foramoment untilthe systemappearsyou “Yournewhardwareisinstalled and readytouse”.It meansthe driver
hasbeen installed.
You willnowneed tocheck thatthe driversareinstalled correctly.Connectthe ezcapUSBVideoGrabber to
yourcomputer,RightClickon MyComputerandLeft Clickon properties. Clickon Hardwaretab and then Device
Manager.Inthe DeviceManagerclick on the “Sound, video and gamecontrollers”correctlyyou shouldsee the
“SMI Grabber Device”. IfithasaYellowmark nexttoitthen thismeansthat the driverisnot installed correctly.
You willneedtoremovethe driverand disconnect ezcap USBVideoGrabber fromthecomputerand reconnect
istoinstallthe driveragain.

Pleaseinsert the CD-ROMintoyourcomputer, you shouldsee awindow.
Select “InstallVHStoDVD2.0SE”,inthe next windows, you can choosesetup language, and click “next”. ”I
acceptthe termsofthe licenseagreement”.Also,you shouldselectfolderwheresetup willinstallfiles,and select
programfolder, then click ”next”, “Finish”tocomplete “HonestechVHStoDVD2.0SE”softwareinstallation.If
the softwareisinstalled correctly,you shouldsee “honestechVHStoDVD2.0SE”icon on yourdesktop.
Pleasedoubleclick “honestechVHStoDVD2.0SE”icon on yourdesktop,you willgetthe following window,and
you must enteryourproductkeyinthe window, then click “OK”icon.(You can find the productkeyon the
CD-ROMbag)
Now, you need toset softwareforcapturing video.
Doubleclick “HonestechVHStoDVD2.0SE”icon on yourdesktop,inthe following window,Using the drop
down menu shownabove, pleaseselect input videodevicetobe SMIGrabber Device”.

Then click “Video Setting”keyon the softwarepanel,you will see the window,according tothe inputsignalyou
have,you need toselectcorrect input sourceforyourdevice,and click “OK”icon.
Pleaseclick “Control”icon,inthe window,you mustselectcorrectvideostandard,and you can see the signal
detected, then click ”OK”icon.

Ifyou haveconnected the video devicewiththe outputdeviceand yourcomputercorrectly,you can startto
watchvideo and recordit.Beforeyou beginrecording video,according toyourwant, you canselectthe output
fileformatfromdrop downmenu,and recording video type,and quality,and recording duration time,alsoyou
can select outputfolderforrecorded video file.
Then clickred recordkeytostartrecordingvideo,atrecording video status,ifyouselect “commercialcutting”,
you can cutthepartofthe video you don’twanttosave,when you wanttofinish,clickthewhitestop icon,you
shouldseethe icon ofthe recorded fileon the top rightof the window.
Ifyouselect “recording and burning”and clickred recordkey,itwill startsburning processrightafterrecording for
the designated time.
Ifyou wanttoeditthe recorded video file, pleaseselect “Edit”toenterthe following window,the first, double-click
the iconofthe recorded fileyou willedit ordrag the fileintoplayerpanel,the filewillplay.
During the edit phase, you can trimoutscene fromyourrecorded video. You can alsocut yourmoviesinto

multiplescenesand add themintostorybooktransition effectsbetween eachscene.When you havemultiple
scenescaptured, you can combine themintoone continuousclipwithtransitionseffects.Inorderforyou trimor
cutpartofthe scene fromthe captured clips,you willneed tocreatetwoseparateclips,one beforethe partofthe
cliptobe trimmedand anotherforthe scenesafterthe part of the cliptobe trimmed.You can evencombine two
separateclipsintoone scene using the storyboard
Then,ifyou click “Preview “button,you can previewthe edited video filebeforesaving it,and click “Merge and
Save”button,you can set yourvideo fileformattobe “MPEG”or “DV-AVI”.
Pleaseclick “Burn”button toenterthe following window.
Now,you can selectoutputvideo format,and click “Option”button,you canselectCD/DVDwriting device,and
select the diskname, and must selectcorrectinputvideo type, then click “OK”icon. Select yourfileorclick “Add
clips”icon tochoosethe otherfiles,according toyourwant, you can editthe video filesby “CreateMenu”
