As shown by the next figure, we recommend to wrap twice around the ferrite with the cable:
Using ferrite cores is mandatory.
The ferrite core must be as close to the drive or motor as possible.

As shown by the next figure, we recommend to wrap twice around the ferrite with the cable:
Using ferrite cores at the BCSDs is mandatory.
The ferrite core must be as close to the drive as possible.

Mains filters
1.3 Mains filters
It is recommended to insert a mains filter at each axis. These mains filters are mandatory to comply
with European regulations.
Use the noise filter Manufactured by SCHAFFNER at the brake power input for servomotors with
holding brakes.
Three-phase servo drive should carry three-phase filter. Choose the right filter according to the
items.

200 W - 1 kW FN258-7-33
1.5 kW - 2 kW FN258-16-33
3 kW - 5 kW FN258-30-33
