Le casque F2 X-TREM est un casque Multi-fonctions, et peut couvrir différentes
applications pour différents corps de métiers :
•Sapeurs-Pompiers :
- Protection pour la lutte contre les incendies, plus particulièrement les feux
de forêts.
- Protection contre les risques encourus lors d’interventions sur routes et
autoroutes (accidents de la route, désincarcération).
- Protection contre les risques encourus lors d’interventions de secourisme,
type déblayage suite à une catastrophe naturelle ou un accident structurel
(effondrement bâtiment), aide aux personnes en danger, sauvetage lors
d’une noyade, etc...
•Secouristes, ambulanciers et sauveteurs en milieux périlleux :
- Protection contre les risques encourus lors d’interventions d’urgence, type
ambulanciers.
- Protection contre les risques encourus lors d’interventions en montagne,
sauvetage en milieux périlleux.
•Personnels en milieux industriels : protection contre les chocs et chutes d’objets
tranchants.
•Gendarmes et policiers : protection contre d’éventuels chocs, coups ou éclats
lors d’accidents de la route, incidents divers liés à une cause humaine ou
matérielle.
•Applications spécifiques en milieu chimique : port du casque sous
combinaison chimique.

• Afin d’assurer une protection convenable, ce casque doit être adapté ou ajusté à la
taille de la tête de l’utilisateur.
• Ce casque est capable d’absorber l’énergie d’un choc pouvant être occasionné par
une destruction ou un dommage partiels ; même si le dommage subi par le casque n’est
pas apparent, il convient de remplacer systématiquement un casque qui a été soumis
à un choc important.
• L’attention des utilisateurs est également attirée sur le danger qu’il y aurait à modifier
ou à supprimer l’un quelconque des éléments d’origine du casque à l’exception des
modifications ou suppressions recommandées par le fabricant de casque. Les casques
ne devraient en aucun cas être adaptés pour la fixation d’accessoires selon un procédé
non recommandé par le fabricant de casque.
• N’appliquer sur le casque aucune peinture, solvant, étiquettes adhésives ou auto-
adhésives, sauf cas prévu dans les indications du fabricant.

Le F2 X-TREM ® comprend des aménagements permettant l’adaptation d’un système
de communication, d’éclairage, d’un bavolet de nuque, d’un appareil respiratoire isolant,
de lunettes, de grille de protection auditive et d’écrans.
3 - Accessoires
AJUSTEMENT DU CASQUE
Ajuster la taille du bandeau à l’aide des réglages
suivants :
Ce bandeau couvre 3 gammes de tailles : S, M, L.
Ce produit est conseillé pour les tours de tête de
52 à 64 cm.

Régler la coiffe en ajustant les clips avant (a) (2 positions) et les 2 pattes auto-
agrippantes à travers les lumières de l’interface arrière.
Le réglage de la hauteur de port du casque se fait par l’ajustement de la profondeur de
la résille, et pour cela, faire coulisser les deux pattes auto-agrippant à travers les lumières
de l’interface arrière.

Réglage de la jugulaire
Retirer les sangles en les dégageant de
leurs points de fixation.

Après chaque utilisation, rangez votre casque dans une housse ou dans un endroit
fermé (placard, vestiaire) à l’abri de l’humidité, de la lumière, des gaz d’échappement.
Ne pas entreposer le casque dans des conditions extrêmes.
Evitez toute chute ou choc du casque qui pourrait occasionner la détérioration des
écrans (fendu/rayé), l’affaissement du système amortisseur, ou la détérioration de la
couche de finition du casque.
Précautions : n’appliquer sur le casque, l’écran et le bavolet ni peinture, ni autocollant,
ni hydrocarbure, ni solvant afin d’éviter le risque de détérioration des matériaux.
Nettoyage : utiliser de l’eau savonneuse et un chiffon doux (non pelucheux) pour la
calotte, l’écran et le bavolet. Laver l’habillage. Laisser sécher longtemps, n’utiliser pas
de sèche linge. Pour l’entretien des parties en cuir, appliquer du savon glycériné sur un
chiffon non pelucheux puis frotter : il n’est pas nécessaire de rincer.
ENTRETIEN DU CASQUE
En changeant la distance des nœuds à
l’arrière du casque, vous pouvez modifier
la tension du lacet afin que les lunettes
soient bien en contact avec le visage.
La sangle intègre une boucle réglable
permettant d'ajuster la tension des lunettes
sur le visage afin que le confort et la
protection soient optimums.

Vérifier, après chaque utilisation, chaque partie du casque, et notamment tous les points
de fixation :
• Ancrage correct
• Pas d’usure évidente
• Pas de casse
Vérifier que l’ajustement du casque est toujours correct.
Remplacer les parties endommagées par les pièces d’origine MSA GALLET, car seules
celles-ci sont homologuées et assurent la conformité du casque.
Durée de vie du casque :
Nous vous recommandons de faire contrôler, tous les 5 ans, la conformité de votre
casque par un agent habilité.
N’hésitez pas à contacter votre distributeur habituel qui vous conseillera sur la
maintenance du casque.

Tous les modèles, accessoires et pièces détachées sont scrupuleusement vérifiés avant
leur sortie d’usine.
Les casques MSA GALLET et les options sont garantis deux ans, pièces et main
d’œuvre à compter de la date d’achat, pour toute défaillance pouvant survenir lors d’une
utilisation dans des conditions décrites dans cette notice.
Vous bénéficiez, en tout état de cause, de la garantie légale pour défauts et vices cachés
dans les conditions prévues aux articles 1641 et suivants du Code Civil

The F2 X-TREM helmet is a multi-purpose helmet and can cover various
applications for diverse professional activities :
•Firefighters :
- Protection against fires, especially forest fires ;
- Protection against risks incurred during intervening actions on roads and
highways (road traffic accidents, extrication) ;
- Protection against risks incurred during first aid actions, clearing following
a natural catastrophe or a structural accident (building collapsing), helping
a person in danger, rescuing during a drowning, etc.
•First aid workers, ambulance drivers and rescue workers in hazardous
environment :
- Protection against risks incurred during emergency actions, such as
ambulance drivers ;
- Protection against risks incurred during mountain intervening actions,
rescuing in hazardous environment.
•Personnel in industrial environments : protection against essentially shocks.
•Police and law enforcement officers : protection against possible shocks, blows
or bursts during road traffic accidents, diverse incidents related to a human or
material cause.
•Applications specific to a chemical environment : wearing of the helmet under
a chemical suit.

• To ensure a suitable protection, this helmet must be adapted or adjusted to the user’s
(wearer’s) head size.
• This helmet is capable of absorbing the energy released during a shock due to partial
damage or destruction ; even if the damage of the helmet is not visible, it is advisable
to systematically replace a helmet which has undergone a great shock.
• Users should also pay particular attention to the danger of modifying or eliminating one
or more of the helmet’s original components unless such actions are recommended by
the helmet maker. Helmets should not be adapted under any circumstances for the
attachment of accessories if the helmet maker has not recommended such a process.
• Do not apply any paint, solvent, stickers or decals unless provided in the helmet
manufacturer instructions.
• To clean, service or disinfect the helmet, use only substances which cannot have any
adverse effect on the helmet and not reputed to have adverse effects on the wearer
when they are applied according to the helmet manufacturer information and instructions.

The helmet has two holes (b) to accommodate
the standard MSA visor clamp or the
MSA SORDIN noise protection.
USING SCBA MASKS
The helmet has two holes (a) to
accommodate the brackets from
breathing masks.
After each usage, store your helmet in a protective bag or in a closed storage area
(closet, locker) sheltered from humidity, light, exhaust gases. Do not store the helmet
under extreme conditions.
Avoid hitting or dropping the helmet, which could deteriorate the shields
(split/scratch), bending the shock-absorbing system, or deteriorating the helmet’s
finish layer.
Precautions : Do not apply paint, stickers, hydrocarbons, or solvents to the helmet,
the shield and the neck curtain in order to prevent the risk of damaging the materials.
Cleaning : Use a clean soft lint-free cloth moistened in soapy water to clean the
helmet, the shield and the neck curtain. Wash the coating. Let dry normally. Do not
use a clothes dryer. To clean leather parts, apply some glycerine soap to a clean lint-
free cloth and then rub. It is not necessary to rinse the leather parts.
HELMET SERVICING
By changing the distance of the knots at
the rear of the helmet, you can alter the
string tension so the goggles are properly
positioned on your (the wearer’s) face.
The elastic strap includes an adjustable
buckle to set the pressure of the goggles
on the wearer's face, in order to optimize
comfort and protection.

After each use, check each part of the helmet and, in particular, the fastening points :
• Correctly anchored
• No visible wear
• No breakage
Make sure the helmet is always properly adjusted.
Replace damaged parts by MSA GALLET original parts because they are the only
parts certified that ensure helmet conformity.
Helmet lifetime :
We recommend checking every 5 years the conformity of your helmet by an official
distributor.
Do not hesitate to contact your dealer for advice on how to maintain your helmet.
AFTER SALES SERVICE
All models, accessories and spare parts are scrupulously checked before they leave
the factory.
MSA GALLET helmets and optional accessories come with a 2-year guarantee for
workmanship and parts as of the purchase date for a usage under the conditions
described in this guide.

• Um einen angemessenen Schutz zu gewähren, muss der Schutzhelm auf die Kopfgröße
des Benutzers eingestellt werden.
• Der Helm kann die Energie eines Stoßes aufnehmen und dabei ggf. teilzerstört oder
beschädigt werden. Auch wenn die Beschädigung nicht sichtbar ist, ist der Helm zu ersetzen,
wenn er einem starken Stoß oder Schlag ausgesetzt war.
• Die Benutzer werden ebenfalls auf die Gefahr hingewiesen, die durch die Veränderung
oder das Entfernen eines Bestandteil des Helms entsteht, mit Ausnahme der vom
Helmhersteller genehmigten Änderungen. Die Helme dürfen auf keinen Fall für die
Befestigung von Zubehörteilen gemäß einer nicht vom Helmhersteller genehmigten Methode
verändert werden.
• Der Helm darf nicht mit Farben, Lösungsmitteln, Klebeetiketten oder Selbstklebeetiketten
versehen werden, außer wenn dies in den Herstellerangaben ausdrücklich vorgesehen ist.
• Zur Reinigung, Pflege oder Desinfektion des Helmes dürfen nur solche Mittel verwendet
werden, die keine schädlichen Auswirkungen auf Helm haben und die nicht für
Nebenwirkungen auf den Benutzer bekannt sind. Den Empfehlungen des Herstellers ist
unbedingt Folge zu leisten.

ANBRINGUNG DER ZUBEHÖRTEILE
Die Helmschale verfügt über zwei Löcher (b)
für die Aufnahme der Standard-Visierhalterung
oder der MSA SORDIN Kapselgehörschützer.
ANBRINGUNG VON ATEMSCHUTZMASKEN
Die Helmschale verfügt über zwei
Löcher (a) für die Aufnahme des
Adapters der Atemschutzmaske.
Nach dem Gebrauch Ihren Schutzhelm in einer Schutzhülle oder in einem
geschlossenen Raum (Schrank, Umkleidekabine) vor Feuchtigkeit, Licht und Abgasen
geschützt, aufbewahren. Den Helm nicht unter extremen Bedingungen lagern.
Helm nicht fallen oder anstoßen lassen, dadurch kann der Helm und das Visier Risse
und Kratzer bekommen, das Stoßdämpfungssystem kann beeinträchtigt werden, oder
die Oberfläche des Helms kann beschädigt werden.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen : Auf den Schutzhelm, das Visier und den Nackenschutz weder
Farbe, Aufkleber, Kohlenwasserstoffe, noch Lösungsmittel aufbringen, um eine
Beschädigung der Materialien zu vermeiden.
Reinigen : Helmschale, Visier und Nackenschutz mit Seifenwasser und einem weichen
(faserfreien) Tuch reinigen. Normal trocknen lassen, nicht im Wäschetrockner trocknen.
Für die Pflege der Lederteile Glycerinseife auf einen faserfreien Lappen geben und
anschließend einreiben. Es ist nicht nötig, die Lederteile zu spülen.

Nach jeder Benutzung alle Helmbestandteile prüfen, insbesondere sämtliche
Befestigungspunkte:
• Korrekte Verankerung
• Kein sichtbarer Verschleiß
• Keine Brüche und Risse
Sicherstellen, dass der Helm stets vorschriftsmäßig angepasst ist.
Die beschädigten Teile ausschliesslich durch MSA GALLET Originalteile ersetzen, nur
diese sind für den Schutzhelms zugelassen.
Lebensdauer des Schutzhelms:
Wir empfehlen es Ihnen, alle 5 Jahre die Konformität Ihres Schutzhelms kontrollieren
zu lassen.

Alle Modelle, Zubehör- und Einzelteile werden eingehend vor Auslieferung geprüft.
MSA GALLET Helme und Zubehör haben eine Garantie von zwei Jahren ab
Kaufdatum, das gilt für alle Teile und ihre Verarbeitung. Voraussetzung ist der
bestimmungsgemäße Gebrauch entsprechend dieser Anleitung.

• Per garantire una protezione adeguata, questo elmetto deve essere regolato secondo le
dimensioni della testa dell’utilizzatore.
• Il presente elmetto è in grado di assorbire l’energia di un urto che può essere causato da una
distruzione o da un danno parziale; anche se il danno subito dall’elmetto non è visibile, si
consiglia di sostituire sistematicamente un elmetto che ha subito un urto rilevante.
• L’utilizzatore deve fare particolare attenzione sul pericolo cui si incorre nel modificare o nel
rimuovere uno qualsiasi degli elementi originali dell’elmetto, tranne in caso di modifiche o di
rimozioni consigliate dal fabbricante dell’elmetto stesso. Gli elmetti non dovranno mai essere
adattati per fissarvi accessori secondo un procedimento non raccomandato dal fabbricante
dell’elmetto stesso.
• Non applicare sull’elmetto pitture, solventi, etichette adesive o autoadesive, tranne nei casi
previsti nelle indicazioni del fabbricante.
• Per pulire o per disinfettare l’elmetto, utilizzare soltanto sostanze che non possono avere
controindicazioni per l’elmetto stesso e le cui eventuali controindicazioni non siano note per il
portatore dell’elmetto, qualora siano applicate secondo le indicazioni e le informazioni fornite
dal fabbricante.

La calotta dispone di due alloggiamenti (b) per
agganciare i supporti standard per le visiere e
le cuffie di protezione MSA.
USO DELLE MASCHERE
La calotta dispone di due alloggiamenti (a)
per inserirvi i kit di collegamento delle
maschere di respirazione.
Dopo ogni uso, sistemare l’elmetto in una custodia o in un luogo chiuso (ripostiglio,
armadietto) al riparo dall’umidità, dalla luce e dai gas di scarico. Non conservare l’elmetto
in condizioni estreme.
Evitare cadute o urti dell’elmetto che potrebbero causare il deterioramento degli
schermi (crepe/rigature), il cedimento del sistema ammortizzatore o il deterioramento
dello strato di rifinitura dell’elmetto stesso.
Precauzioni : non applicare sull’elmetto, sullo schermo e sulla protezione nucale pitture,
autoadesivi, idrocarburi o solventi, in modo tale da evitare il rischio di deterioramento
dei materiali.
Pulizia : utilizzare acqua e sapone ed un panno morbido (senza peli) per la calotta, per
lo schermo e per la protezione nucale. Lavare la parte esterna della calotta. Lasciare
asciugare a lungo, non utilizzare armadi essiccatori. Per la pulizia delle parti in pelle,
applicare del sapone alla glicerina su un panno senza peli, quindi strofinare: non occorre
sciacquare.

del laccio in modo da posizionare
correttamente gli occhiali a contatto con il

Dopo ogni uso, verificare ogni parte dell’elmetto e nella fattispecie tutti i punti di fissaggio :
• Aggancio corretto
• Nessun segno visibile di logorio
• Nessuna rottura
Verificare che la regolazione dell’elmetto sia sempre corretta.
Sostituire le parti danneggiate con pezzi originali MSA GALLET, poiché soltanto i pezzi
originali sono omologati e garantiscono la conformità dell’elmetto.
Durata dell’elmetto :
Si consiglia di fare controllare ogni 5 anni la conformità dell’elmetto da un agente
autorizzato.
Rivolgersi senza indugiare al proprio distributore per avere dei consigli su come pulire
l’elmetto.
SERVIZIO POST VENDITA
Tutti i modelli, gli accessori ed i pezzi di ricambio sono controllati scrupolosamente prima
dell’uscita dallo stabilimento.
I caschi MSA GALLET e i relativi accessori sono coperti da una garanzia di due
anni, pezzi e mano d’opera, a decorrere dalla data di acquisto per ogni guasto eventuale
durante l’uso secondo le condizioni descritte nella presente specifica.
In ogni caso, l’utente usufruisce della garanzia legale per i difetti e per i vizi nascosti
secondo le condizioni previste negli articoli 1641 e successivi del Codice Civile Francese.

El casco F2 X-TREM es un casco multifunción y puede cubrir diferentes
aplicaciones para distintas actividades profesionales:
•Bomberos :
- Protección en la lucha contra incendios, especialmente los incendios
forestales.
- Protección contra los riesgos que se presentan durante las intervenciones
en carreteras y autovías (accidentes de tráfico, extracción de personas
bloqueadas en un vehículo).
- Protección contra los riesgos que se presentan durante las intervenciones
de socorrismo, como la retirada de escombros tras una catástrofe natural
o un accidente estructural (hundimiento de un edificio), el socorro a
personas en peligro, el rescate de una persona que se está ahogando,
etc...
•Socorristas, personal de ambulancias y personal de salvamento en
entornos peligrosos :
- Protección contra los riesgos que se corren durante las intervenciones de
urgencia, como es el caso del personal de las ambulancias.
- Protección contra los riesgos que se corren durante las intervenciones en
montaña, como en el caso del personal de salvamento en entornos
peligrosos.
•Personal de entornos industriales : Protección contra impactos y caídas de
objetos cortantes.
•Guardia civil y policía : Protección contra posibles golpes, impactos o
fragmentos despedidos en explosiones en accidentes de tráfico, incidentes
diversos relacionados con una causa humana o material.
•Aplicaciones específicas en un entorno químico: Utilización del casco con
un traje de protección química.

Según los tipos de aplicaciones y las versiones, el casco F2 X-TREM® cumple diferentes
normas: Norma EN 397, EN 12492, NIT 312 o el etiquetaje CE.
• Con el fin de garantizar una protección adecuada, este casco debe adaptarse o
ajustarse a la talla de la cabeza del usuario.
• Este casco es capaz de absorber la energía de un impacto que pueda ocasionar la
destrucción o daños parciales, incluso si el daño sufrido por el casco no es visible. Se
aconseja sustituir sistemáticamente todo casco que haya sufrido un impacto importante.
• Llamamos igualmente la atención de los usuarios sobre el peligro que puede suponer
la modificación o supresión de cualquiera de los elementos originales del casco, excepto
las modificaciones o supresiones recomendadas por el fabricante del casco. Los cascos
no deben en ningún caso ser adaptados para la fijación de accesorios si el fabricante
del casco no recomienda el proceso.
• No aplique al casco ningún tipo de pintura, disolvente, etiqueta adhesiva o autoadhesiva,
excepto en los casos previstos por las indicaciones del fabricante.
• Para la limpieza, el mantenimiento o la desinfección del casco, utilice únicamente las
sustancias que no puedan tener efecto perjudicial alguno sobre el casco y que no sean
conocidas por tener efectos perjudiciales sobre la persona que utiliza el casco si se
aplican según las indicaciones y la información facilitadas por el fabricante.
