Thank you for the purchase of our bandsaw safety guard PS. We
have made this installation guide to help you set up and use this
product. This guide assumes that you are familiar with drilling,
tapping, and fabricating simple brackets. If you need any extra help,
please call us at 855-326-1243.
Mounting and Installation
Tools required for installation (Not Included):
-Drill
-#7 or 13/64” drill bit
-¼-20 tap, tap wrench, and hex bolts
-Set of metric and SAE hex keys
For an electrical connection, you may need one or more of the following (Not Included).
-Wire strippers
-Utility knife
-Screwdrivers
-Hole saw or step drill
-Cable glands
-Cable connectors
Please make sure that you have everything included with your shipment. Remove all packing material from the mounting
posts and screens. The screens will need to be mounted on the mounting posts during installation.
You should have:
- Two (2) screen assemblies with PVC curtains.
- Two (2) mounting posts with wiring.
Electrical Connection
Contact Rating: 3A @ 240VAC, 0.1A @ 240VDC
Wire Color Codes and Sample Wiring Diagram:
IMPORTANT: Do not connect the switch directly to the motor. The switch is not designed to handle motor loads. Wire
the switch inside the control circuit only. If you require any help with this, please call us at 855-326-1243.

Visual Installation Tips
See the photo below for installation tips.
•Try to mount the screen as close to the blade as possible.
•Make sure that the screen is mounted in such a way so that material can be passed through easily.
Use ¼”-20 bolts to fasten the guard to the machine.
You may need to install additional brackets here if
the machine has no solid mounting surfaces.
Slide the screen onto the
mounting tubes. Make
sure that the tube is
turned clockwise as far
as it will go. Tighten
these two bolts once the
screen is in place.
Run the cable from each side to the
motor control box.
Do not tighten this set
screw.

3. Installation –Rear
The back of the machine has a similar installation setup as the front. Note that your machine will be different
from the one pictured here.
Make sure that the screen
opening is centered on the
clamps and material can
pass through easily.
Back with door open.
