Congratulations on your purchase of a Jumbo
Touch Panel “JBT” series flavoring system!
This manual goes over the different settings
and options associated with your new Jumbo
Touch Panel. For operations and maintenance
instructions on the Flavor Burst equipment
itself, please refer to your model’s complete
Operations Manual.
The Jumbo Touch Panel is a large interactive
touch panel. Not only does it control basic
dispense functions from this screen, it is also an
advertising tool used to attract customers.
Images, information and videos can all be
displayed on this screen. The Jumbo Touch
Panel is customizable for serving sizes, flavor
names, and more. The JBT-80FCB-2S fits the
2-barrel Taylor C300. The JBT-80FCB-3S fits
the 3-barrel Taylor C303. The JBT-80FCB-4S
fits the 4-barrel Taylor C314 and C302 freezer.
Your Jumbo Touch Panel also operates many
of the clean-in-place functions of your
equipment. You can clean out the spout with
sanitizer solution at the push of a button on the
screen. When the flavor lines are connected to
the sanitizer tank, it flushes the insides of the
lines, pumps and fitments with sanitizer
solution.
Most of the system’s operations and even
maintenance functions are operated by the
panel, so becoming familiar with it and
understanding all of the available options is
important. This manual will walk you through
each section and explain each feature.
NOTE: EQUIPMENT AND PRODUCT
IMAGES IN THIS MANUAL MAY DIFFER
FROM YOUR CURRENT SETUP.
HOWEVER, THE INFORMATION AND
INSTRUCTIONS CONCERNING THE JUMBO
TOUCH PANEL APPLY TO MOST
FREEZERS, FLAVOR BURST EQUIPMENT,
AND FROZEN PRODUCTS.
Always follow these safety precautions when
operating the Flavor Burst® system:
DO NOT operate the system without
reading this operator’s manual. Failure to follow
this instruction may result in equipment
damage, poor system performance, health
hazards, or personal injury.
DO NOT operate the system unless it is
properly grounded. Failure to follow this
instruction may result in electrocution.
DO NOT operate the system with larger
fuses than specified on the system data label.
Failure to follow this instruction may result in
electrocution or damage to the machine.
Consult your electrician.
DO NOT put objects or fingers in the
door spout. Failure to follow this instruction may
result in contaminated product or personal
injury from blade contact.
The JB cabinet system must be placed
on a level surface capable of supporting at least
220 lbs of weight. Failure to comply may result
in personal injury or equipment damage.
DO NOT install the unit in an area where
a water jet could be used, and do not use a
water jet to clean or rinse the system. Failure to
follow these instructions may result in serious
electrical shock.
NOISE LEVEL: Airborne noise emission does
not exceed 70 dB(A) when measured at a
distance of 1.0 meter from the surface of the
machine and at a height of 1.6 meters from the
floor.
NOTE: Operations Manual subject to
change. Contact your local distributor for most
recent updates concerning the JB system.

This section is a quick reference on how to
draw a frozen carbonated beverage “FCB”
serving with the Jumbo Touch Panel. If this is
your first time operating the panel, it is
recommended you walk through the next
section “Initial Setup” of this manual to
customize and familiarize yourself with the
panel and all its features. Although the panel
comes with general default settings, your flavor
buttons and product images may not match up
to what you are serving. Once the panel is set
up with your preferences, test the system and
the panel settings.
NOTE: EQUIPMENT AND PRODUCT
IMAGES MAY DIFFER FROM YOUR SETUP.
HOWEVER, THE INFORMATION AND
INSTRUCTIONS STILL APPLY.
1. If you are dispensing product from a barrel
that is not connected to the Flavor Burst
system, simply draw product from the spout.
To select flavors from the Flavor Burst
system, proceed to the next step.
2. The screen above the Flavor Burst spout
will either show a scrolling showcase of one
flavor at a time or a full static menu that
shows all 8 flavors. If the full menu allows
you to select flavors, proceed to Step 4.
Otherwise tap the menu area and proceed
to the next step.
NOTE: THE FULL STATIC MENU SHOWN
ABOVE IS FOR VISUAL PURPOSES ONLY
AND DOES NOT HAVE SELECTABLE
FLAVORS. IT IS TYPICALLY DISPLAYED
WHEN “TIMED SERVING SIZES” IS IN USE.
BECAUSE THE SIZE DETERMINES HOW
MANY FLAVORS ARE ALLOWED, THE
OPERATOR MUST FIRST SELECT A SIZE
BEFORE SELECTING FLAVORS. THE
STATIC MENU ABOVE ALLOWS THE
OPERATOR TO VIEW ALL FLAVORS
AVAILABLE BEFORE SELECTING A SIZE.
THEN FLAVORS ARE CHOSEN AFTER THE
SERVING SIZE SCREEN.
NOTE: THE SCROLLING SHOWCASE
FEATURE IS AN OPTIONAL SETTING. WHEN
IT IS PRESENT, JUST TAP THE SHOWCASE
TO GO TO THE SERVING SIZE SCREEN IN
STEP 3 OR THE FLAVOR SELECTION MENU
IN STEP 4.
3. The next screen may show options to select
a size. If so, select a cup size.
NOTE: THE SIZE SELECTION SCREEN IS
AN OPTIONAL SETTING THAT WILL ONLY
APPEAR WITH THE TIMED SERVING SIZE
FUNCTION ENABLED. SEE “EQUIPMENT
SETUP WIZARD” TO ENABLE OR DISABLE
TIMED SERVING SIZES.
DRAWING A SERVING

6
4. Select the flavor(s) by touching the flavor
button. More than one flavor can be
selected for a multi-flavor serving.
Selected flavors show a green check mark.
To deselect a flavor, touch the button again.
NOTE: FLAVORS WILL DISPENSE IN THE
ORDER THEY ARE SELECTED, AND WILL
REPEAT THE CYCLE UNTIL THE SERVING
IS DONE.
NOTE: SERVING SIZE MAY DETERMINE
HOW MANY FLAVORS CAN BE SELECTED.
FOR EXAMPLE, A SMALL SERVING MAY
ONLY ALLOW TWO FLAVORS BECAUSE
THE FLAVORS ARE SET TO DISPENSE FOR
A PRESET TIME. TO ADJUST THE SERVING
SIZE TIME OR FLAVOR DISPENSE TIME,
SEE SECTIONS “GENERAL SETTINGS” AND
“ADJUST DISPENSE TIME LIMITS” OF THE
MAINTENANCE MENU.
NOTE: THE SCREEN AND SELECTIONS
WILL TIME OUT AFTER A DESIGNATED
PERIOD OF TIME. TO SHORTEN OR
LENGTHEN THAT TIME, CHANGE THE
RESET DELAY IN “GENERAL SETTINGS” OF
THE MAINTENANCE MENU.
5. MANUAL DRAW SYSTEM: Hold a cup
under the spout. Pull the draw handle all
the way into the open position. If you have
the timed servings enabled, draw the
serving until the system sounds a beep and
the screen notifies you to stop drawing
product and then return the handle to the
closed position at the end of the serving.
Otherwise, draw the serving till the cup is
nearly full.
26211
NOTE: THE SYSTEM DISPENSES THE
FLAVORS IN THE ORDER THEY WERE
SELECTED. ALLOW ENOUGH TIME FOR
EACH OF THE FLAVORS TO CYCLE
THROUGH. IF THE SERVING IS CUT OFF
TOO SOON THE SYSTEM MAY NOT
DISPENSE ALL THE CHOSEN FLAVORS IN
YOUR SERVING.

7
6. AUTO DRAW SYSTEM: The Auto Draw
System has no draw handle on the spout
and a green button is displayed below the
flavor menu. Hold the cup under the spout,
and press and hold the green button on the
screen to dispense.
If you have the timed servings enabled,
draw the serving until the system sounds a
beep and the screen notifies you to stop
drawing product and then return the handle
to the closed position at the end of the
serving. Otherwise, draw the serving till the
cup is nearly full.
NOTE: ALTERNATIVELY, THE RED BUTTON
ON THE DRAW SPOUT COVER CAN BE
PUSHED TO DISPENSE AS WELL. PRESS
AND HOLD BUTTON TILL THE SERVING IS
FINISHED.
NOTE: THE AUTO DRAW SYSTEM IS AN
OPTIONAL UPGRADE AND NOT
INCLUDED WITH THE STANDARD JUMBO
TOUCH PANEL SYSTEM. CONTACT
YOUR LOCAL DISTRIBUTOR FOR MORE
INFORMATION ON THIS UPGRADE.

The Jumbo Touch Panel is designed with the
operator in mind. Some instructions and
explanations are given on the screen itself,
however this manual will further detail each of
the Jumbo Touch Panel’s features and options.
When setting up your Jumbo Touch Panel for
the first time, walk through each section of the
Maintenance Menu to familiarize yourself with
how it operates and customize the panel to your
preferences.
Power Up, Maintenance Menu, & Shut Down
The Jumbo Touch Panel acts much like a
tablet. The Flavor Burst system is operated by
an app or program which has been loaded onto
the Jumbo Touch Panel. Follow these
instructions to power up the Jumbo Touch
Panel, run the Flavor Burst app, and safely
close and power down.
Once in the Flavor Burst program, the
Maintenance Menu is where all of your Jumbo
Touch Panel Settings are outlined for easy
access. Through the menu, the operator can
perform maintenance procedures and change
settings on the system. A password may be
required to gain access to this menu.
1. Turn on the Jumbo Touch Panel by
pressing the small round power button on
the back corner of the Jumbo Touch Panel.
Allow about 30-40 seconds for the system
to load.
26379
2. Touch the Flavor Burst logo to open the
Flavor Burst app. Flavor Burst Terms of
Use will appear. Read and accept the
terms to continue to the Jumbo Touch Panel
program.
3. The program will show the main dispense
screen. This is where flavor selections are
made and product is dispensed.
NOTE: THE PLACARDS ABOVE THE NON-
FLAVOR BURST SPOUTS ARE INACTIVE ON
THE SCREEN. THE AREA ABOVE THE
FLAVOR BURST SPOUT SHOULD SHOW A
MULTI-FLAVORED MENU WITH
SELECTABLE BUTTONS.
INITIAL SETUP & SETTINGS

10
4. To access the programming features of the
Maintenance Menu, press and hold the area
in the top left corner of the screen. There is
no visible button, but the area is live and will
take you to the Maintenance Menu.
NOTE: IF THE SCREEN ASKS FOR A
PASSWORD, ENTER THE PASSWORD. IF
THE PASSWORD IS FORGOTTEN,
CONTACT FLAVOR BURST COMPANY TO
OBTAIN A PASSWORD OVERRIDE.
5. The left-hand side of the screen lists the
various maintenance and setup options.
Pressing an option will open a panel to the
right to allow configuration changes.
6. To exit the Maintenance Menu and return to
the product screen, press the BACK button
in the top left corner.
7. To exit the Flavor Burst program, access
the Maintenance Menu and scroll down to
the bottom of the menu. Touch the “Exit
Application” section. Enter the password
when prompted.
8. To power down the whole Jumbo Touch
Panel system, touch the power icon at the
bottom of the screen and select “Power Off.”
You can then safely turn off the screen
using the power button at the back top
corner of the box.
26359
NOTE: ALWAYS EXIT THE FLAVOR
BURST APP AND POWER DOWN THE
PROGRAM BEFORE TURNING OFF THE
EXTERNAL SWITCH.

11
Set Date and Time
The Jumbo Touch Panel system has a date and
time app built in. When you first receive the
system, set it to the current date and time.
Certain Jumbo Touch Panel features keep
time/date stamped records.
1. Turn on the Jumbo Touch Panel, or exit the
Flavor Burst program. If a “Flavor Burst
Terms of Use” pops up, click EXIT for now.
2. Find your list of apps by touching the dotted
button at the bottom of the screen.
3. Touch the Settings icon.
4. Scroll down and find “Date & Time.”
5. Touch the “Set Date” and “Set Time” keys to
enter the current date and time. Touch
“Done” to save settings.
6. Touch the Home icon at the bottom to return
the home screen and open the Flavor Burst
app.

12
Choose Available Languages
The Jumbo Touch Panel is programmed to
display different languages. You can choose
one default language, or set up the panel for
two languages, which can be useful for
multilingual workplaces and self-serve
applications. You can also set up the panel to
display various currencies when displaying
prices for different products and sizes.
NOTE: FULL LANGUAGE TRANSLATION
MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL
LANGUAGES OR ON EVERY SCREEN.
1. Press the “Choose Available Languages”
tab of the Maintenance Menu.
2. Select the number of languages you want
available on the Jumbo Touch Panel.
3. Select the default language for the Jumbo
Touch Panel in the first panel. The
Maintenance Menu will always be in the
default language.
4. If you would like to change the currency,
touch the “Currency” and make your
selection. Currency will only appear if you
display prices for different serving sizes.
5. If you would like to change the flag icon,
touch the flag, select the “Flags” folder and
then make your selection from the available
flag images.
6. If you are displaying more than one
language, choose your Second Language,
currency and flag icon. When selected, this
secondary language will display on the
product and dispense screens.
NOTE: THE MAINTENANCE MENU WILL
ONLY DISPLAY IN THE DEFAULT
LANGUAGE. TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE
OF THE MAINTENANCE MENU, CHANGE
THE DEFAULT LANGUAGE TO YOUR
PREFERRED LANGUAGE.

13
7. To see if your languages are set up
correctly, press the BACK button at the top
left of the screen to return to the main
screen. The main screen will show the
default language. If you opted for more
than one language, flags will be visible on
the screen. Press the flag and walk
through the draw screens to see them
displayed in the secondary language.
Password Setup
OPERATOR PASSWORD: There are two
levels of passwords available for the Jumbo
Touch Panel. The Operator Password is
established so that the general public does not
have access to the Maintenance Menu. If the
store owner does not enable the Operator
Password, anyone that has access to the
Jumbo Touch Panel can enter the Maintenance
Menu and change some of the system settings
and display settings.
With the Operator Password enabled, the
Maintenance Menu is blocked for those that do
not know the password and they can only
perform the basic functions of drawing a
serving. This is ideal for the self-service
environment, where many people will have
access to the Jumbo Touch Panel.
If the freezer and Flavor Burst are being
maintained and cleaned by someone other than
you, simply let them know the Operator
Password and they will be able to access the
maintenance functions of the Maintenance
Menu. With the password, they can change
flavors, flush lines, prime lines, and set up or
change syrup flavors. They will also have
access to the product type, pricing, and
container information displayed on the screen.
If you do not wish to share this password with
certain employees or the public, they can be
blocked from the Maintenance Menu entirely.
If the equipment is not in a self-service
environment and you wish everyone to have
access to the maintenance functions, simply
turn off the Operator Password. The sensitive
settings of the Jumbo Touch Panel will still be
protected by the Administrator Password.

14
ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD: This
password comes standard with your Jumbo
Touch Panel. It serves to prevent customers
and your staff from changing important settings
without your authorization, such as setup
connections and passwords. It also helps to
prevent inappropriate material being
inadvertently uploaded and displayed on the
Jumbo Touch Panel. The Administrator
Password cannot be removed from the
programming, but it can be changed. The
password has to be at least 4 characters, but
can be as simple or complex as you like, or
even the same as the Operator Password.
Sharing the password with others allow them
access to these sensitive areas, so only share
this password with those you trust won’t abuse
the Jumbo Touch Panel’s features.
The Administrator Password protects the
“Password Setup, “Communications Setup”,
“Equipment Setup Wizard”, and “Transfer Files
to Jumbo Touch Panel” sections of the
Maintenance Menu.
If a password is forgotten, contact Flavor Burst
Company to obtain an override password.
1. Press the “Password Setup” section in the
Maintenance Menu. Enter the Administrator
Password if prompted.
2. To require an Operator Password to protect
access to the Maintenance Menu, slide the
toggle button to ON. To remove the
password protection, slide the bar to OFF.
3. To change the Operator Password, type in
the new password on each line and then
press “Change Password”.
4. To change the Administrator Password,
choose a different password and type it into
each line and then press “Change
Password”.
NOTE: THE ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD
CANNOT BE TURNED OFF. ONLY SHARE
THE PASSWORD WITH THOSE YOU TRUST
WON’T CHANGE THE SETTINGS WITHOUT
YOUR APPROVAL.
NOTE: THE ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD
WILL ALSO GIVE YOU ACCESS TO THE
MAINTENANCE MENU AS WELL AS ALL OF
ITS MENU SECTIONS.

15
9. To test the Operator Password, press the
BACK key at the top left to return to the
product screen. Press and hold the area in
the top left corner of the product screen.
When prompted, type in the Operator
Password and press OK.
NOTE: IF THE OPERATOR PASSWORD IS
NOT ENABLED, THE MAINENANCE MENU
SHOULD APPEAR WITHOUT ASKING FOR A
PASSWORD.
5. To test the Administrator Password, select
one of the protected sections, such as
Equipment Setup Wizard, Password Setup,
Communications Setup, or Transfer Files to
Jumbo Touch Panel. The password box
should appear. Type in the Administrator
Password and press OK to access the
restricted area.
Equipment Setup Wizard
The Equipment Setup Wizard is a program
designed to guide the operator and installer
through the process of setting up the hardware
of the whole system. This process may
involve handling the electronics board and
connections inside the cabinet. If you do not
feel comfortable doing so, please contact your
local distributor.
1. Press the “Equipment Setup Wizard”
section in the Maintenance Menu. Enter the
Administrator Password if prompted.
2. Select how many spouts are connected to
the Flavor Burst system. If only one spout
will feature Flavor Burst flavors, select “one
spout.” If you are using a 44FCB system on
two spouts or have added a Base-2S unit to
another spout, select “two spouts” and skip
to Step 5.
3. ONE SPOUT: Select which spout (left or
right) is connected to your Flavor Burst
system.

16
4. ONE SPOUT: Designate which pump and
motor cables connect to which ports on the
electronics board (located inside the cabinet
top). If only one cabinet is attached, the
cables can be attached to either port set. By
default, they are typically attached to
Connector A and Connector C.
Then, skip to Step 7.
5. TWO SPOUTS: If you are running two
spouts with Flavor Burst, designate which
will be “Spout 1”. On a 44FCB system, the
first set of #1-4 trays will be connected to
one spout, and the last set of trays #A-D will
be on another spout.
6. TWO SPOUTS: If Flavor Burst blending
systems are attached to two spouts, the
Jumbo Touch Panel needs to know which
ports are controlling which spout. If you
have two separate cabinets (ie, the Base-
2S), follow the cables from each cabinet to
the electronics board to determine which
cabinet is connected to which ports. If you
have a 44FCB system, the pump cables will
be labeled 1-4 and A-D. Follow the motor
cables from each spout to the electronics
ports inside the cabinet top.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE UNSURE, CONTACT
YOUR LOCAL DISTRIBUTOR FOR
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO CHECK YOUR
CONNECTIONS.
7. Select whether your system is an Auto Draw
system and if you are using Timed
Servings.
NOTE: THE AUTO DRAW SYSTEM IS AN
OPTIONAL UPGRADE KIT (ADPT TY80S-
FCB1CTP). CONTACT YOUR LOCAL
DISTRIBUTOR FOR MORE INFORMATION.
NOTE: TIMED SERVINGS FEATURE CAN
ONLY BE USED ON THE SPOUT USING THE
FLAVOR BURST SYSTEM. THE OTHER
SPOUTS ARE NOT CONNECTED TO OR
CONTROLLED BY THE JUMBO TOUCH
PANEL.

17
8. Ensure the draw switch is connected to one
of the ports at the top center on the back
side of the Jumbo Touch Panel. Then
press/activate the switch. On a system with
two Flavor Burst spouts, check that both
switches are connected to the Jumbo Touch
Panel. Press/activate the one associated
with “spout 1”. A green check mark will
appear, verifying the switch works and is
assigned to spout 1.
9. You can press the BACK button to double-
check your settings and then press FINISH
to exit the Equipment Setup Wizard. Test
your system, especially if the system is
attached to two spouts. Ensure the
switches activate the correct spouts and the
syrup pumps operate with the correct spout
and in conjunction with what is shown on
the Jumbo Touch Panel screen.
10. When the Flavor Burst system is attached to
two spouts, you will see a green button on
some of the screens that says CHANGE
SPOUT. This button gives you access to
the settings for the second spout, in order to
change flavors, clean the cabinet lines and
pumps, etc.
Communications Setup
The Communications Setup section is currently
not important to your basic set up at this time.
The Jumbo Touch Panel is designed to connect
to wifi, and this is the section to check those
connections. Flavor Burst has anticipated
certain wifi features that may be in future
program updates, but they are currently not
available.
If you have an internet browser app installed on
the Jumbo Touch Panel (outside of the Flavor
Burst app), you will be able to access the
internet through the wifi connection.
1. Press the “Password Setup” section in the
Maintenance Menu. Enter the Administrator
Password if prompted.
2. To connect to available wifi or check the
connection, touch “Edit Wifi Connection”
and select from the available wifi providers
on the next screen.
3. You can also test your switch connection(s)
under the Switch Test to make sure they are
working. The active “switch” will turn green.

18
Setup Trays and Dispense Speeds
These settings allow the operator to enable and
disable pumps to allow or prevent dispensing,
change the syrup name of each tray, and also
change the rate at which the syrup is
dispensed.
1. Press the “Setup Trays and Dispense
Speeds” section in the Maintenance Menu.
2. To enable a flavor and have it appear in the
flavor selection menu, ensure the box is
checked under the “Enabled” column. You
may uncheck the box to disable a flavor and
prevent it from being used. Only the
selected flavors will show on the flavor
menu.
3. To increase the rate of syrup being
dispensed for each flavor, slide the Flavor
Burst icon to the right. The higher the
number (up to level 10), the more syrup is
dispensed per serving. To decrease the
rate, slide the icon to the left.
4. If you are changing syrup flavors, you will
need to update the flavor name for that tray.
To change the flavors, touch the flavor
description for that tray.
5. Select the new flavor name from the list that
appears. Most of the preloaded names in
the flavor list will automatically link to the
preloaded flavor graphics.
