instructions in the Instruction manual before
operating or maintaining this power tool.
Most accidents that result from power tool
operation and maintenance are caused by
the failure to observe basic safety rules or
precautions.
An accident can often be avoided by
recognizing a potentially hazardous
situation before it occurs, and by observing
appropriate safety procedures.
Basic safety precautions are outlined in the
“SAFETY” section of this Instruction manual
and in the sections which contain the
operation and maintenance instructions.
Hazards that must be avoided to prevent
bodily injury or machine damage are
identified by WARNINGS on the power tool
and in this Instruction manual.
NEVER use this power tool in a manner that
has not been specifically recommended by
FLEX.

1. Work area safety
(a) Know your light. Read the manual
carefully. Learn the applications and
limitations, as well as the specific potential
hazards related to this tool.
Following these rules will reduce the risk of
electric shock, fire or serious injury.
(b) Do not permit children to use the light; it
is not a toy.
2. Electrical safety
(a) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions.
Water entering a power tool will increase the
risk of electric shock.
3. Personal safety
(a) Do not stare into the light. Avoid direct
eye exposure.
The light can cause flash blindness.
4. Power tool use and care
(a) Store idle power tools out of the reach of
children and do not allow persons unfamiliar
with the power tool or these instructions to
operate the power tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
5. Battery tool use and care
(a) Disconnect the battery pack from the
power tool before making any adjustments,
changing accessories or storing power
tools.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the
risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
(b) Recharge only with the charger specified
by the manufacturer.
A charger that is suitable for one type of
battery pack may present a fire risk when
used with another battery pack.
(c) Use power tools only with specifically
designated battery packs.
Use of any other battery packs may present
a fire risk and cause injury.
(d) When the battery pack is not in use,
keep it away from other metal objects, like
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or
other small metal objects that can make a
connection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may
cause burns or a fire.
(e) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be
ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contact accidentally occurs, flush with
water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally
seek medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
(f) Do not use a battery pack or tool that is
damaged or modified.
Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit
unpredictable behavior resulting in fire,
explosion or injury.

(g) Do not expose a battery pack or tool to
fire or excessive temperature.
Exposure to fire or temperature above
265°F may cause explosion.
(h) Follow all charging instructions and do
not charge the battery pack or tool outside
the temperature range specified in the
instructions.
Charging improperly or at temperatures
outside the specified range may damage
the battery and increase the risk of fire.
6. Service
(a) Have your power tool serviced by a
qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the power
tool is maintained.
(b) Do not modify or attempt to repair the
appliance or the battery pack (as applicable)
except as indicated in the instructions for use
and care.

1. Safety warnings for rechargeable
LED work light operation
(a) This power tool is intended to function
as a rechargeable LED work light. Read all
safety warnings, instructions, illustrations
and specifications provided with this power
tool.
Failure to follow all instructions listed below
may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
2. Additional warnings
(a) The mains voltage and the voltage
specifications on the rating plate must
correspond.
(b) Only FLEX AUTHORIZED SERVICE
CENTER should disassemble or assemble
this power tool, and only genuine FLEX
replacement parts should be installed.
(c) Clean the exterior of the power tool only
with a soft cloth moistened with soapy
water, and dry thoroughly.
(d) Never use solvents, gasoline or thinners
on plastic components; otherwise the
plastic may dissolve.
(e) The light source contained in this luminaire
shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or
his service agent or a similar qualified person.

Operating instructions
WARNING
Risk of electric shock! Before carrying out
any work on the power tool, always remove
the battery.
Before switching on the power
tool
Unpack power tool and accessories and
check that no parts are missing or damaged.
NOTE
The batteries are not fully charged on
delivery. Prior to initial operation, charge
the batteries fully. Refer to the charger
operating manual.
Inserting/replacing the battery
1. Press the charged battery into the
power tool until it clicks into place.
2. To remove, press the release button (1.)
and pull out the battery (2.).
CAUTION
When the device is not in use, protect the
battery contacts. Loose metal parts may
short-circuit the contacts; explosion and fire
hazard!
Battery state of charge
1. Press the button to check the state of
charge at the state of charge indicator
LEDs.
The indicator goes out after 5 seconds.
If one of the LEDs flashes, the battery must
be recharged. If none of the LEDs light up
after the button is pressed, the battery is
faulty and must be replaced.
Switching on and off
CAUTION
ÓNever direct the nozzle of the power tool
at other persons or yourself.
ÓUse personal protective equipment:
safety goggles, ear defenders and also
a respirator (or breathing protection) if
dust is agitated during operation of the
power tool. It is also recommended to
wear suitable footwear, long trousers and
gloves while working with the power tool.
ÓKeep hair and clothing away from
openings and moving parts.

1. Switch the rechargeable LED work light
on and off by pressing the on/off switch.
Press again to adjust the light intensity.
The lamp head can be turned 360° in the
frame.
Mounting
1. To mount the rechargeable LED work
light on the wall or on a stand, use the
wall mounting holes/threads (5/8").

material during the warranty period. For repair
or replacement, return the complete tool or
accessory, transportation prepaid, to your
nearest Authorized Service Station.
Proof of purchase may be required.

5. Utilisation des outils

précautions d’emploi
(a) Débranchez le bloc-piles de l'appareil
avant de procéder à tout ajustement, de
changer d'accessoires ou de ranger les outils
électroportatifs.
De telles mesures préventives réduisent les
risques de démarrage accidentel de l’outil.
(b) Se servir uniquement du chargeur
spécifié par le fabricant.
L’utilisation d’un chargeur conçu pour un
type donné de bloc-piles peut représenter
un risque d’incendie avec un autre type de
batterie.
(c) En utilisant un outil alimenté par batterie,
servez-vous uniquement du bloc-piles
spécialement conçu à cet effet.
L’emploi d’autres batteries risquerait de
provoquer un risque d’incendie et
d'entraîner des blessures.
(d) Lorsque vous n’utilisez pas le bloc-piles,
rangez-le à l’écart des objets tels que les

explosion.

6. Service
(a) Les réparations doivent être confiées
à un technicien qualifié, utilisant
exclusivement des pièces de rechange
identiques à celles d’origine.
Ceci assurera le maintien de la sécurité
de l’outil électroportatif.
(b) Ne modifiez pas ou ne tentez pas de
réparer l'appareil ou le bloc-piles (selon
le cas) sauf comme indiqué dans la notice
d'utilisation et d'entretien.

fil. Veuillez respecter toutes les consignes de

Si vous ne respectez pas les instructions qui
suivent, vous risquez une électrocution, de
provoquer un incendie et / ou des blessures

2. Autres consignes de sécurité

la plaque signalétique doivent concorder.
(b) Il ne faut confier qu’au CENTRE AGRÉÉ
DE SAV FLEX le démontage ou l’assemblage
de cet outil électroportatif, et n’installer que
des pièces de rechange FLEX d’origine.
(c) Ne nettoyez les surfaces extérieures de
l’outil électroportatif qu’avec un chiffon doux
humecté d’un peu d’eau savonneuse, puis
séchez à fond.
(d) N'utilisez jamais de solvants, d’essence
ou de diluants sur les pièces en plastique
car ils risquent sinon de dissoudre le
plastique.
(e) Seul le fabricant ou son réparateur ou
toute autre personne possédant les mêmes
qualifications peut remplacer la source de
lumière de cette lampe.

AVERTISSEMENT

ne manque ou est endommagée.
REMARQUE
Les batteries ne sont pas entièrement
chargées à la livraison. Chargez entièrement
les batteries avant la première utilisation.
Consultez à ce sujet la notice d'utilisation
du chargeur.
Mise en place/remplacement
de la batterie
1. Insérez la batterie chargée dans l'outil
électroportatif jusqu'à son emboîtement
total.
2. Appuyer sur les touches de déver-
rouillage (1.), puis retirez la batterie (2.).
PRUDENCE
Protégez les contacts de la batterie
lorsqu'elle n'est pas utilisée. Des objets
métalliques épars risquent de court-circuiter
les contacts ; il existe un risque d'explosion
et d'incendie!
Niveau de charge de la batterie
1. Appuyez sur la touche pour contrôler le
niveau de charge sur les LED du voyant.
Le voyant s'éteint au bout de 5 secondes.
La batterie doit être chargée lorsqu'une LED
clignote. Si aucune LED n'est allumée après
une pression sur la touche, la batterie est
défectueuse et doit être remplacée.

Allumage et extinction
PRUDENCE
ÓNe dirigez jamais la buse de l'appareil
électroportatif vers d'autres personnes,
ni vers vousmême.
ÓUtilisez un équipement de protection
individuelle : lunettes de protection,
protection acoustique et masque en cas
de dégagement de poussière lors du
soufflage. Il est également recommandé
de porter des chaussures rigides, des
pantalons longs et des gants.
ÓGardez cheveux et vêtements éloignés
des ouvertures et des pièces en
mouvement.
1. Allumez ou éteignez le projecteur de
chantier LED sans fil en appuyant sur
l'interrupteur marche/arrêt.
L'intensité lumineurse peut être modifiée
en appuyant de nuoveau sur l'interrupteur.

Montage
Pour monter le projecteur de chantier LED
sans fil sur le mur ou le trépied, utilisez les
trous de fixation murale/filetages (5/8").

meuleuse, débranchez la fiche mâle
de la prise de courant.

Consignes pour la mise au
rebut
AVERTISSEMENT
Rendez inutilisables les outils électriques
usagés avant leur mise au rebut :
Óles outils électriques alimentés par
réseau électrique, en retirant le câble
d'alimentation,
Óles outils électriques alimentés par un
accumulateur, en retirant ce dernier.

Ne mettez pas les outils électriques à la
poubelle des déchets domestiques !
Conformément à la directive européenne
2012/19/UE visant les appareils électriques
et électroniques usagés, et à sa transpo-
sition en droit national, les outils électriques
ne servant plus devront être collectés
séparément et introduits dans un circuit de
recyclage respectueux de l’environnement.
Mieux vaut récupérer les matières
premières que les jeter à la poubelle.
L'appareil, les accessoires et l’emballage
doivent être envoyés dans un circuit de
revalorisation respectueux de
l’environnement. Les pièces en matière
plastique sont identifiées afin de permettre
leur recyclage sélectif.

Ne pas jeter les accumulateurs/batteries
dans la poubelle des déchets domestiques,
au feu ou dans l’eau. Ne pas ouvrir les
batteries usagées.
Il faut que les accus/batteries soient
collectés, recyclés ou éliminés d’une façon
qui respecte l’environnement.

défectueux ou épuisés doivent être recyclés.
