Maintenance Requirements
To ensure the continued perform nce of the v lve, FloPl st
recommend th t nnu l m inten nce of the opening nd closing
mech nism is c rried out.
To chieve this:
1. Firstly, remove the lid by unscrewing nticlockwise.
2. Remove the sep r te ring holding the rubber se l (poppet).
3. Inspect the se l f ces on the body nd the poppet to ensure
th t there is no environment l or insect ingress. If necess ry,
cle n the se ling f ces with lint free cloth.
4. To re ssemble, lightly lubric te the se ling f ces on both the
body nd the poppet with silicone lubric nt (e.g. silicone
gre se SG100).
5. Pl ce the poppet over the guide pins.
6. Once in pl ce, rot te slightly to ensure even distribution of the
silicone.
7. Repl ce the lid nd screw clockwise to ensure th t it is
completely secure.
NB. Installer: ret in or p ss this le flet to householder for
future use.
