QuickStart FLUKE Series Ti450 SF6
Gas Detection Operation Only
1. MEMORY: Insert SD memory card into the slot under the rubber cover on the side of the camera.
2. POWER: Insert a fully charged battery into the base of the hand grip. The battery life is indicated in the lower left
corner of the LCD display. You can also press and hold the battery symbol on the side of the battery.
3. START: Press the Power button until you hear an audible tone signaling camera startup.
• Swing the attached lens cover up and lock in the open position on the top of the camera.
• The LCD display will turn on and you will see the default start up screen (as above) showing a live infrared image.
 •Toturnthecamerao󰀨,pressthePowerbuttonuntilanaudibletonesignalsitispoweringdown.
4. FOCUS:Focusiseithermanualorautomatic,andisuserselectable(automaticrecommendedforSF6gas modes).
 •Tomanuallyfocus,adjustthefocusingringeitherclockwiseorcounterclockwisetooptimizeimagefocus.
 •Automaticfocusislaserenhanced.Toutilizethelaserassistedautofocus,depressthelaserassistedfocustrigger
whileaimingthelaserpointerattheobjectofinterest.Whileholdingthecamerasteady,releasethetrigger.Ifthere
istoomuchmovementofthelaserduringtheautofocusingoperation,anExcessiveLaserMovementwarningmay
appear on the screen.
5. PALETTE:Fromthehomescreen,depresstheF2button.Thenusingeitherthedirectionalarrowbuttonsorthe
touchscreen,selectImage,thenselectPalette.SelectSetPalette,andthenusingeithertheup/downdirectionalarrow
buttonsorthetouchscreenscrollthroughthepaletteselections.Toselectaparticularpalette,eitherdepresstheF1
button (done) twice or click the selection on the touch screen and then select Done.
6. IR Fusion:Fromthehomescreen,depresstheF2button.Thenusingeitherthedirectionalarrowbuttonsorthe
touchscreen,selectImage,thenselectIR-Fusion.ForfullscreenIRonlygasImagingselectIR 100%. For Picture
inPicture(IRwithinvisualimaging)andthenusingeithertheup/downdirectionalarrowbuttonsorthetouchscreen
scroll through the selections and select PIP 100%.Noteitnotrecommendedtoselectany%otherthan100%.Only
select Visual if you need to obtain visual orientation of the camera.

7. SF6GAS MODEFromthehomescreen,depresstheF2
button. Then using either the directional arrow buttons or the
touchscreen,selectSF6Gas Detection Mode,thenselectSF6
Gas Detection Mode On.
8. SF6HIGH GAIN or LOW GAIN: For larger leaks under
ideal conditions you may select Low Gain (Handheld)Mode.For
small leaks or under less than ideal conditions tripod mount the
camera and select High Gain (Tripod)Mode.
9. SF6VIDEO or IMAGE CAPTURE MODE: In SF6menu
select either Image Capture to set the recording mode to record
a single still image or Video Capture to set the recoding mode to
recordavideosequence.SeeParagraphs10and11toinitiate
recording.
10. SINGLE IMAGE RECORDING:WhenthecamerahasbeensettoImageCaptureMode,liveimagesarepaused
bydepressingthegreentriggeronce.Onceanimagehasbeenpaused,theoptionsaregiventoSave,Edit or Cancel.
Selecting Cancelreturnstheimagertoliveoperation.Tosavetheimage,eitherdepresstheF1buttonorselectSave
on the touch screen. Select Edittoaddanaudioclip,aphoto-noteorchangepalette,orimagefusionmodebefore
saving the image.
11. VIDEO IMAGE RECORDING: WheninSF6video image recording mode image recording is started depressing
the green trigger once to prepare to start recording (timer reads 00:00) and then a second time to actually start re-
cordingThetimerwillstartadvancingonesecondatatime.Tostoporpauserecordingpressthegreentrigger.Once
paused,theoptionsaregiventoDone or Cancel. To continue recording press the green trigger. To save the recoding
press Done and then press Save.SelectingcancelwilltakeyoutoaconrmationmenutoCancel the recording and
Lose Video.
12. RECALL A STILL IMAGE:DepresstheF2button,andeitherusingthedirectionalbuttons(<and>)orbyinterfac-
ingthetouchscreen,selectMemory.IntheMemorymenu,usethedirectionalbuttonsortouchscreentoselectan
image with an .IS2leextension,theneitherdouble-clickontheimageviathetouchscreenorselectOKtoopenthe
selectedimage.PressF2BacktoreturntothememoryMenuorF3Cancel to return live.
13. RECALL A VIDEO:DepresstheF2button,andeitherusingthedirectionalbuttons(<and>)orbyinterfacingthe
touchscreen,selectMemory.IntheMemorymenu,usethedirectionalbuttonsortouchscreentoselectanimage
with an .IS3leextension,theneitherdouble-clickontheimageviathetouchscreenorselectOKtoopentheselect-
edimage.Avideosequencewillberecalledandthevideomenuwillappear.PressF2Back to return to the memory
MenuorF3Cancel to return live.
