Infrared signal transmission and reception coverage
- The IR-600T radiator emits an infrared signal to be captured by SCT-6R receivers directly (recommended)
or reflected on other surfaces.
- Both devices have a large angle of coverage and signal capture when installing the equipment is important
to take into account their optimal angles. At angles greater than those indicated will continue to transmit
and receive, but with less intensity:
- SCT-6R: provides better signal acquisition at 90°, in the vertical and horizontal planes.
- IR-600T: provides better signal radiation at 135º, in both horizontal and vertical planes.
NOTE: it is recommended that the radiators be installed at a height sufficient enough to allow a direct signal
to reach the audience without any interference with seats or other elements of the room.

This equipment is supplied with a 10 meter long DB25 cable that can support up to 5 cascaded translation
units. Increasing this length cannot ensure the proper functioning of 5 units.
The variations in the length of this DB25 cable, as a rule, follow the following ratio: 30 meters will be able to
support 4 translation units and 50 meters will be able to support 2 translation units. This data is subjective
and may vary due to several factors: cable quality, cable and connector construction, and environmental
characteristics of the installation site.
This cable has a straight connection between its ends, the PIN1 of the male connector corresponds to the
PIN1 of the female connector, the PIN2 with the PIN2 of the other end, etc. And it is advisable to place
ferrites near the connectors to eliminate interference on the cable.
