It is the responsibility of the vehicle operator to:
• ensure that their vehicle is parked in a safe and responsible manner.
ensure that the vehicle is not remote-start indoors (garage, underground parking).
ensure that the vehicle is not remote-start with a passenger inside.
ensure that the gearshift lever is in “PARK” on a automatic transmission in order to avoid
accidents upon remote starting when leaving the vehicle. (Note: Make sure that the automatic
vehicle cannot start in "Drive".)
ensure that the remote starter is disabled or put into valet mode before servicing. When servicing
the vehicle enables VALET MODE (See Page 2).
