he new Fostex CR300 is a highly
engineered rack-mountable
machine which offers state-of-
the-art digital recording to both
write-once CD-R and the new
generation of CD-ReWritable
media from digital and analogue
sources.
PPRROOFFEESSSSIIOONNAALLSSPPEECC
Fostex’s reputation for designing
tools full of the kind of facilities
and high specification demanded
by audio professionals is enhanced
still further by the CR300.
Innovations such as digital
focusing, tracking and sled servo
circuits which adjust the optimum
gain and offset values for CD-R and
CD-RW discs for example, ensure
exceptional recording and
playback for all disc types.
A 3-beam differential push-pull
pickup and a clean laser pickup
circuit enhance the quality still
further. - Even the construction of
the chassis has been designed to
provide a high level of screening
against electronic interference
resulting in unrivalled sonic
performance.
UUSSAABBIILLIITTYY
Here is a machine which has been
designed from the ground up with
the professional in mind whether
they be in music production,
sample compilation, broadcast or
the DJ industries.
Yet this high-end specification
doesn’t come at the expense of
usability. Far from it.
As all controls are easily accessible
from the clearly layed out front
