Start/stop/confirm button
The temperature controller shows the current temperature (actual value) in display mode. If no
button is pressed for 20 seconds during setup (setup mode), the temperature controller returns
to display mode.
Turning on/off
- Press and hold set for 4 seconds.
The temperature controller is turned on or off.
Locking/unlocking the buttons.
No processes should be currently running on the temperature controllers.
- Press and hold set and simultaneously for 2 seconds.
Loc will be shown on the display for 1 second. The buttons are now locked.
- Press and hold set and simultaneously for 2 seconds.
UnL will be shown on the display for 1 second. The buttons are now unlocked.
Displaying the set point
- Briefly press set : SEt and the set point appear.
- Wait 20seconds: The current value is displayed.
Changing the set point
- Briefly press set : SEt and the set point appear.
- Select the menu item using set .
- Set the desired set point temperature using .
- Confirm with set .
Changing from Celsius to Fahrenheit
- Briefly press set : SEt will appear.
- Press or until Uni appears on the display.
- Select the menu item using set .
- Change the units from 0=°C to 1=°F using .
- Confirm with set .
Correcting the actual value
- Briefly press set : SEt will appear.
- Press or until OFt appears on the display.
- Select the menu item using set .
- Correct the actual value using .
- Confirm with set .

Configuring the setup parameters
The setup parameters should only be changed under unfavorable operating conditions. The set-
tings may only be configured as expressly instructed by Franke Foodservice Systems.
- Briefly press set : SEt will appear.
- Press or until PA appears on the display.
- Select the menu item using set .
- Press and hold until the number 72 appears on the display. While is pressed, the
numerical value of 0 is incremented until the button is released.
- Confirm with set : The first parameter is displayed.
- Use to set the value of the first parameter.
- Confirm with set : The second parameter is displayed.
- Repeat the procedure to set all parameters.
- Wait 20seconds to exit the menu.
Restoring the factory settings
In the event of a fault, the factory settings should be restored first.
- Press and hold set and simultaneously for 8 seconds until dEF flashes on the display.
The reset is complete.
Message Meaning
Loc Keyboard or active set point is locked.
- - - - The quantity to be displayed is not available (example: because the tempera-
ture sensor has not been activated)
Cln
Display flashes:
Access to the copying process for the parameter set has been created.
Data output from the device is switched off.
St
Display flashes:
Decision made to continue with the copying of the parameter set from the
device to the programming key (upload)
Data output from the device is switched off.
Display is permanently lit
The copying process from the device to the programming key (upload) is ongo-
ing.
Data output from the device is switched off.
PrG
The copying process from the programming key to the device (download) has
been successfully concluded (press any button so that the "PrG" display disap-
pears). The device will restore normal operation.

- Check the connection between the device and
the programming key
- Check whether the programming key is working
correctly
- Repeat the copying process
