SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
This manual ontains important saety instrutions that must be ollowed during installation and
maintenane o the euipment.
Installation must be arried out by ualied personnel. A dediated, state-o-the-art eletriity supply
system must be designed and installed, and the system must be ertied in ompliane with loal
regulations and the energy supply ontrat.
Operators are reuired to read and ully understand this manual, and to omply stritly with the
instrutions it ontains.
Installation must be carried out in accordance with the regulations in force in the country of
installation, and in compliance with all safety regulations for carrying out electrical work. Personal
protective equipment must be used, as required by the laws of the country of destination and the
instructions of employers.

needed to keep your euipment in good working order.
I the euipment is used in a manner not speied in this manual, the protetion provided by the

installation and routine maintenane o the euipment.

WARNINGS

 Beore installing or using the devie, make sure that none of the components have
been damaged. Damaged omponents an lead to eletroution, short iruits, and re due
to overheating. A devie with damage or deets must not be used.
 Install eProWallbox away from petrol cans or combustible substances in general.
 Before carrying out any maintenance, ensure the power supply is swithed o.
 Beore installing eProWallbox, ensure the main power source has been disconnected.
 Beore putting bak or moving eProWallbox, ensure the devie is not connected to the
power supply.
 eProWallbox must only be used or the secic alications it is designed or.
 Installation, maintenane or repairs not carried out correctly may pose risks to the user.
Please ensure that eProWallbox is only used in correct operating conditions.
 The devie must be onneted to an electricity network in compliance with local and
international standards, and all the technical requisites indicated in this manual.
 Children or other persons not able to gauge risks related to the installation or use o the
devie ould suer serious injury, or put their lives at risk. Suh persons must not
operate the devie and must be supervised when lose to it.
 Pets or other animals must be kept away rom the devie and pakaging material.
 Children must not play with the device, aessories or pakaging provided with the produt.
 eProWallbox does not contain components that the user can repair or maintain
autonomously.
 The only part that can be removed from eProWallbox (solely during the installation and
dismantling stages and ollowing the instrutions) is the removable cover. eProWallbox
should not be opened urther unless by ualied personnel during installation, dismantling
or maintenane.
 eProWallbox an only be used with an energy soure.
 eProWallbox must be treated and disposed of in compliance with current legislation,
separately rom normal household waste, as eletri and eletroni waste (WEEE).
 Neessary preautions to ensure sae operation with Ative Implantable Medial Devies
must be taken. To determine whether the harging proess ould adversely aet the
medial devie, please ontat its manuaturer.

 GENERAL INFORMATION
eProWallbox is an Alternate Current harging solution or powering eletri vehiles and hybrid
plug-ins, and is ideal or semi-publi and residential use. The devie is available in three-phase
or single-phase ongurations, and is euipped with a Type 2 soket.
The devie harges eletri vehiles up to 22 kW in three phase, or up to 7.4 kW in single phase.
The produt inludes onnetivity options that allow it to be monitored remotely via a
Web-based portal. The devie an be managed via a dediated App.
This model is euipped with a SIM ard or onnetion to the 4G mobile network.



This doument desribes how to install the produt. A desription o the harateristis o the
euipment is provided to identiy key omponents and set out the tehnial terms used in this
manual. This hapter ontains inormation on models, details o euipment, harateristis and
tehnial data, overall dimensions and identiation o the euipment.

The inormation on the label is shown in the Figure below. The details may dier rom those
shown in the Figure, depending on the version o the produt. The Part Number and Serial
Number an also be ound on the pakaging as well as in the eSolutions Charging app ater
authentiation.
The label inside the pakage with the printed letter C indiates the type o soket installed on
the produt. This label should be applied near the soket when installation is ompleted.

Beore hoosing and installing the devie, the installer must onsider loal restritions as set out
in the IEC 61851-1 standard. However, it remains the responsibility o the installer to hek that
these regulations are still in eet, and above all to veriy whether additional loal regulations
apply and ould restrit use o these devies in the ountry o destination.

Beore proeeding with the installation, make sure that:
 Input power is ompletely swithed o, and remains so until installation is omplete
 The work area is adeuately ordoned o (aess by persons not involved in the work must
be prevented)
 Installation should not be arried out with wet hands and no ets o water should be aimed
at the produt
 The produt is not installed in rain, og or high humidity
 The produt pakaging is peretly intat and ree rom obvious damage. I the produt is
damaged, please reuest support rom www.esolutions.free2move.com/contacts
 The produt and all omponents are ompletely intat and ree rom any obvious deets or
aults. I any damage is noted, the installation proedure must be abandoned immediately,
and tehnial support must be ontated.

Beore installing, ensure that environmental onditions (suh as temperature, altitude and
humidity) omply with the produt speiations.
To ensure the devie untions properly, and to enable it to be used properly by the user, the
spae around the devie must be let lear to allow air to irulate and the able to be moved
properly. It must also allow harging by the user and routine or non-routine maintenane
operations to be onduted saely.
It is neessary to take into aount the spae needed to park the eletri vehile to be harged.
eProWallbox must not be installed in plaes:
 at risk o explosion (EX environment)
 used or esape routes
 where artiles may all on it (e.g. suspended ladders or ar tyres) or where it is likely to be
hit and damaged (e.g. lose to a door or in vehile operating spaes)
 where there is a risk o pressurized ets o water (e.g. beause o washing systems, power
washers or garden hoses)
eProWallbox is designed to withstand diret sunlight and bad weather onditions, however to
inrease its useul lie and to limit thermal derating, it is suggested to protet the devie rom
diret exposure to sunlight and rain, using a anopy. The ollowing indiations must be ollowed
when hoosing the position to install eProWallbox:
 avoid not xed walls
 avoid walls made o inammable material or overed in inammable material (e.g. wood,
arpet, et.)
 avoid diret exposure to the rain so that deterioration due to bad weather does not
our
 ensure suient ventilation or the devie – do not mount it inside a nihe or a loset
 avoid aumulation o heat - keep the devie away rom heat soures
 avoid exposure to water inltration
 avoid exessive leaps in temperature.

Using the groove on the bottom, detah the external over o eProWallbox rom the housing,
seured with 6 elasti plugs.
To proeed with the installation, the over an be removed by unsrewing 6 srews.

  Wall mounting



To x the main body to the wall,  lugs   mm are reuired.
The plugs supplied are universal, and are suitable or solid or hollow brik walls. For installation
on walls made o dierent materials (e.g. plasterboard), spei plugs are reuired, and must
only be installed one the maximum permissible load has been veried.
 Before installation, it is necessary to determine the position and distances from walls.
e recommend maintaining a distance o about  cm rom the alls to acilitate
installation and maintenance.
 To facilitate installation and wall mounting, use the template supplied to drill the
 ing holes he temlate should also be used or levelling ith a sirit level

 Secure the main body to the wall by inserting the screws through the holes.

The produt is only euipped with a 6 mA DC diret urrent detetion devie. Conseuently, in
aordane with the IEC 61851-1 standard, the devie must be proteted upstream by externally
installing a Miniature Ciruit Breaker (MCB) and a Residual urrent devie (RCD).
eProWallbox is not tted with a PEN ault detetion system.
MCB: Reommended C urve, 5kA rated short-iruit apaity. Rated urrent aording to
power supply and harger setting, but no more than 32 A. In the event o a short iruit, the
value o I2t at the vehile onnetor o the harging station should not exeed 75000 A2s.
The overurrent protetion devies should omply with IEC 60947-2, IEC 60947-6-2, IEC 61009-1
or the relevant parts o IEC 60898 series or IEC 60269 series.
RCD: Aording to loal regulations, at least Type A. Manual reset type only. The RCD should
have a rated residual operating urrent not exeeding 30 mA and should omply with one o
the ollowing standards: IEC 61008-1, IEC 61009-1, IEC 60947-2 and IEC 62423. The RCD should
disonnet all live ondutors.
SPD: To prevent potential damage to the eletri vehile aused by overvoltage, we strongly
reommend proteting the power supply iruit o the onnetion point with an SPD.
IMD: I installed in IT-type systems, an insulation monitoring devie (IMD) ompliant with CEI
EN 61557-8 must be tted.





The euipment must be powered by ables o an appropriate size and whih are apable o
withstanding the urrent or whih the produt has been designed. Make sure the ables are o
a suitable size beore wiring, and that the maximum permissible bending radius is not exeeded.
The devies eletrial data, whih should be reerred to in order to size the power supply
system orretly, are displayed on the devies identiation label (see hapter 1.3).
The ollowing guidelines provide inormation on whih power supply ables to use and the
reommended ondutor size:
 Minimum ondutor size: 6 mm²
 Maximum ondutor side: 10 mm²
 Stripping length or power supply ables: 18 mm




to prevent dust or moisture rom entering during shipment.
