1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Purpose of the Manual
This installation manual is a guide to help operators to work safely and carry out the
installation operations needed to keep the appliance in good working order.
Thepurposeofthisdocumentistosupportqualiedtechnicianswhohavereceived
appropriate training, and demonstrated suitable skills and knowledge in the
construction, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
If the appliance is used in a manner not specied in this manual, the protection
provided by the appliance may be impaired. This document contains the information
required for the installation of the appliance.
This document has been carefully checked by the Manufacturer Free2move
eSolutions S.p.A. but oversights cannot be completely ruled out. If any errors are
noted, please inform Free2move eSolutions S.p.A. Except for explicit contractual
obligations, under no circumstances may Free2move eSolutions S.p.A. be held liable
for any loss or damage resulting from the use of this manual, or from installation of

the information that is needed to install the appliance safely.
Each chapter is sub-divided into paragraphs which examine the fundamental points,
and each paragraph may have its own title, along with sub-titles and a description.

This manual contains important safety instructions that must be followed during
installation of the appliance.

Installationmustbecarriedoutbyqualiedpersonnel.Adedicated,state-of-the-
art electricity supply system must be designed and installed, and the system must
becertiedincompliancewithlocalregulationsandtheenergysupplycontract.
Operators are required to read and fully understand this manual, and to comply
strictly with the instructions it contains. The Unknown Services contains all the
parameters that can be written and read through Bluetooth.

1.5 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) means any equipment intended to be worn
by the workers in order to protect them against one or more hazards likely to
threaten their health or safety at the workplace, as well as any device or accessory
intended for this purpose.
Since all the PPE indicated in this manual is intended to protect the personnel
against health and safety hazards, the Manufacturer of the appliance which is
the subject of this manual recommends strict compliance with the indications
contained in the various sections of this manual.
The list of PPE to be used in order to protect the operators against the residual
risks present during the installation and maintenance interventions described in
this document is provided below.

It is responsibility of the operator to read and understand local
regulations and evaluate the environmental conditions of the
installation site in order to comply the need to wear additional PPE.

1.6 Warranty and delivery conditions

with the purchase order for this product and/or in the packaging of the product.

the instructions for proper installation, and cannot be held responsible for systems
upstream or downstream of the equipment supplied.
Free2move eSolutions S.p.A. cannot be held responsible for defects or malfunctions
deriving from: improper use of the appliance; deterioration due to transport or
particularenvironmentalconditionsorinstallationbyunqualiedpersons.
NOTICE
Any modication, manipulation or alteration of the hardware
or software not expressly agreed with the manufacturer will
immediately void the warranty.

1.8 Warnings
DANGER
Electric shock and re. Installation must be carried out in
accordance with the regulations in force in the country of
installation, and in compliance with all safety regulations for
carrying out electrical work.
• Before installing or using the device, make sure that none of the
components have been damaged. Damaged components can lead to
electrocution, short circuits, and re due to overheating. A device with
damage or defects must not be used.
• Install eProWallbox away from petrol cans or combustible substances
in general.
• Before installing eProWallbox, ensure the main power source has been
disconnected.
• The appliance must be connected to a mains network in compliance with
local and international standards, and all the technical requirements
indicated in this manual.
• Children or other persons not able to gauge risks related to the installation
oftheappliancecouldsuerseriousinjuryorputtheirlivesatrisk.
• Pets or other animals must be kept away from the device and packaging
material.
• Children must not play with the device, accessories or packaging provided
with the product.
• The only part that can be removed from eProWallbox, is the removable
cover.
• eProWallbox can only be used with an energy source.
• Necessary precautions to ensure safe operation with Active Implantable
Medical Devices must be taken. To determine whether the charging process
couldadverselyaectthemedicaldevice,pleasecontactitsmanufacturer.

2 GENERAL INFORMATION
eProWallbox isanAlternateCurrentchargingsolutionforpoweringelectric vehicles
and hybrid plug-ins, and is ideal for semi-public and residential use. The appliance
isavailableinthree-phaseorsingle-phasecongurations,andisequippedwitha
Type 2 socket.
The appliance charges electric vehicles up to 22 kW in three-phase, or up to 7.4
kW in single-phase. The appliance includes connectivity options such as remote
monitoring via the eSolutions control platform (CPMS). Its nal conguration
must be completed using the PowerUp application.
This appliance is equipped with a SIM card for connection to the 4G mobile network.
TheSIMcardisautomaticallyactivatedthersttimetheapplianceisturnedon.
This document describes how to install the appliance. A description of its
characteristics is provided to identify key components and set out the technical
terms used in this manual. This chapter contains information on models, details
of equipment, characteristics and technical data, overall dimensions, and
identicationoftheappliance.
NOTICE
Please refer to the Accessories Manual for specic information if
the PowerMeter (DPM) or MIDcounter are to be installed and to the
User’s Manual for instructions on how to use it.

NOTE
The Part Number (PN) and Serial Number (SN) can also be found on the packaging
as well as in the eSolutions Charging app after pairing eProWallbox to the user’s
proleandinPowerUp after pairing with QR code. The QR code is the same on
both labels and is used to complete the installation with PowerUp and eSolutions
Charging applications.

3 INSTALLATION
DANGER
Before carrying out any work, switch o the power supply.
DANGER
Failure to observe the instructions in this manual may cause serious
damage to both the product and the installer (in the most serious
cases, injuries may be fatal). Please read this manual carefully before
installing, switching on and using the product. Free2move eSolutions
S.p.A. recommends only using experienced professionals who comply
with current regulations to install the product correctly.
NOTICE
Once the device has been powered up, the display will not turn on
immediately. This can take up to one minute.
3.1 Preparing for Installation
Before choosing and installing the appliance, the installer must consider local
restrictions as set out in the IEC 61851-1 standard. However, it remains the
responsibility of the installer to check that these regulations are still in force, and
above all to verify whether additional local regulations apply and could restrict use
of these devices in the country of use and installation.
DANGER
Installation and start-up of the device should only be carried out by
qualied personnel who are able to identify imminent and potential
hazardous situations and, consequently, act safely.
Installation must meet IEC 60364-7-722 standard requirements.

Before proceeding with the installation, make sure that:
• Theinputpoweriscompletelyswitchedoandremainsinthiscondition
until installation is complete.
• As the work area is considered a dangerous zone it has been adequately
cordonedoinordertopreventtheaccessbypersonsnotinvolvedinthe
installation operations. The appliance is not installed in conditions of rain,
fog or high humidity.
• The appliance’s packaging is perfectly intact and free from obvious
damage. If the appliance and/or its packaging are damaged, please
request support from the following link: www.esolutions.free2move.
com/contact-us/
• The appliance and all its components are completely intact and free of
any obvious defects or faults. If any damage is noted, the installation
procedure must be abandoned immediately, and technical support must
be contacted.
WARNING
The design of the entire electrical system to which the appliance
is to be connected must rst be determined by a qualied
professional. The electrical data of the appliance, which should be
referred to in order to correctly gauge the size of the power supply
system, is displayed on the appliance’s identication label.
WARNING
Installation should not be carried out with wet hands and no jets of
water should be aimed at the appliance.

3.4 Space and positioning
CAUTION
Make sure that there are no heat sources, ammable substances or
electromagnetic sources in the installation area when installing the
appliance.
In addition, the installation site must be suciently ventilated to
ensure proper heat dispersion.
NOTICE
If eProWallbox connectivity is needed make sure that the chosen
area is covered by mobile phone reception or by Wi-Fi coverage.
Before installing, ensure that environmental conditions (such as temperature,
altitudeandhumidity)complywiththeappliancespecications.
To ensure the appliance operates correctly, and to enable it to be used properly
by the user, the space around the device must be left clear to allow air to circulate
and the cable to be moved properly. It must also allow charging by the user and
routine or non-routine maintenance operations to be conducted safely.
NOTE
It is necessary to take into account the space needed to park the electric vehicle to
be charged.
