A new denition of multiple-drive storage
The new Freecom DataTank provides you with up to
2TeraByte (2000GB) of hard drive storage capacity! The
ideal platform to store all your valuable data on. The
easy to use conguration tool allows you to choose
between RAID 0 (striping, combines the capacity of both
disks into one volume; you will see the total capacity
as one driveletter in your operating system), RAID 1
(mirroring, one disk copies the other automatically, so
you always have a safe copy of your data; you will see
one driveletter in your operating system for half of the
total drive capacity) or JBOD (dual drive letter, both disks
will appear as separate drive letters in your operating
system). Large storage capacity is one thing, but what
about security? Freecom oers the rst drive with an
Encryption button; at the touch of this button you can
access a password protected encrypted partition on the
DataTank; your data is encrypted in 128 bit AES standard,
which was developed in close cooperation with the US
government and is widely recognized as impossible to
crack. The DataTank also features Freecom’s SYNC button,
for synchonizing les between computer and DataTank
and vice versa. Equipped with Hi-speed interfaces, the
Freecom DataTank gives you speed, space and security,

Windows2000 / XP / Vista; MAC OS X users need to initialize the
DataTank in HFS+ after connecting.

NTI SHADOW SOFTWARE:
NTI Shadow for PC and Mac is an easy-to-use backup application that automatically protects your photo, music, video, and various data les. It makes data restoration
as easy as dragging and dropping les from one place to another. For real-time, continuous data backup, set Shadow to save your les/folders every time they change.
You can also specify your backup schedule by the minute, hour, day, week and start time(s) and also choose a specic or even a customized le type with Shadow’s new
advanced le ltering.
Not only does Shadow allow users to automatically copy les from their PCs to various devices in real time, but it also preserves the les in their native format - meaning no
additional software is necessary to restore les. Shadow works transparently in the background without disturbing you while you work, and does not take up important
system resources.
