BT-200
The unit is a wireless comfort Bluetooth® dongle for PC and desk-phones with USB
connector.
Normally, built-in type Bluetooth only supports audio stream service. User can make
pairing with internal Bluetooth and can enjoy music listening and communication
with some softphone.
Sometimes, user may have some difficulty to make pair with their Bluetooth
headset.
With BT-200 dongle, user doesn’t need to set up anything on PC. Just plug and it can
be detected as one of external audio device.
And also, the BT-200 can support call control function for Skype4 Business. If user
install the SoftLink program on their PC, several softphones can be interworking
with it.

What’s inside
Connector
The Standard Type A male connector is on side. Just plug in normal Type A female
connector and then it works.
LED Indicator
The blue LED indicator shows several modes.
Push Button
The LED window is push type button. User can press it and it has two different events.
One is long pressing and the other is short pressing.
Overview
Turn on the dongle
Plug in normal USB female connector and then it will be recognized as one of
external audio device. When initial is successfully done, the LED will be blinking for
couple of times.
Turn off the dongle
The dongle doesn’t have USB suspend mode. So, it always turned on. If you don’t
want to use it, plug off.
Prior to using the dongle, it must be paired and connected to another Bluetooth
headset.
General procedure
Plug in the dongle
When there is no pairing information or no Bluetooth device is connected, the
LED is turned off.
Press the button more than 3 seconds and then LED will be blinking.
Now, you are on pairing mode.
When it is paired with Bluetooth device, the LED will be turned on.
Now, the pairing is successfully done.
Different Bluetooth devices have different ways to handle pairing. Read the user
manual of your device for more info. Some devices will connect to the dongle
automatically when it is within range, for example when you return to your office. For

other phones, it may be necessary to reconnect manually when the connection has
been broken.
The pairing mode is active for 1minute and 20 seconds. After that, the dongle will
enter standby mode.

Make Connection
If paired Bluetooth device is not connected to the dongle, press the button shortly.
And the last paired device will be connected. When it is connected, the LED will

Reset Pairing Data
If you need to reset all paired data, press get into pairing mode.
And all paired data will be reset.
Listening Audio
The dongle can support two different profile.
When music is played on PC, the dongle will be linked via A2DP.
When softphone is used on PC or any recording software is running, the
Dongle will be linked via HFP.
To turn off music, the related program should be closed. Unless, the dongle still
consider it is opened and will be remained on A2DP connection.
Using the Dongle
Safe and efficient use
Do not expose your product to humidity, liquid or extreme temperature conditions.
Such conditions, or other rough treatment such as dropping or bending the product
may damage it. Do not use any accessories or chargers other than original intended
for use with this product. The dongle contains any user serviceable parts and must
not be opened.
A Bluetooth device use radio signals to communicate with other devices. The power
of this radio signal is low, maximum 0.001 Watts. Do not use the product where it is
forbidden, for example in airplanes, at hospitals, in blasting areas or in explosive
atmospheres. Radio signals may interfere with other electronic devices, especially if
these are not shielded.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions:
1. This device may not cause harmful interference, and
2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that
may cause undesired operation.

equipment does cause harmful interference, the user is encouraged to try to correct

Any changes or modifications to the equipment not expressly approved by the party
responsible for compliance could void user’s authority to operate the equipment.
WARNING & SAFETY INFORMATION
The antenna(s) used for this device must be installed to provide a separation distance
of at least 20cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in
conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
Troubleshooting
If you have problems connecting the dongle to headset, do as follows:
Check that Bluetooth is switched on your device.
Check the LED indicator. If it is off, try repairing or press the button shortly.
If the headset stops functioning, even though it is fully charged: Reset the
headset by switching it off, wait for 15 seconds and then turn it on again. You
might try to reset the dongle as well.

We will repair or replace, at our opinion, this product if found defective due to
materials or workmanship within the warranty period beginning from the original
date of purchase. This product is warranted by authorized representative for the
period specified.
The Original dated purchase receipt must be presented to the authorized service
center when service is rendered. On all carry-in models, transportation to and from
the service station is the responsibility of the purchaser.
This warranty does not cover damages due to accident, fire, flood, earthquake
and/or other acts of God; misuse, incorrect line voltage, improper installation,
improper or unauthorized repairs, commercial use or damages occurred in shipping.
Exterior and interior finish, lamps, glass, plastics parts and temperature probes are
not covered under this warranty. Customer adjustment according to the owner’s
manual are not covered under this warranty. This warranty is automatically void if
the serial number is missing or altered.
