Überkopfbügel am Headset befestigen
1 Setzen Sie das Headset und den Überkopfbügel wie
abgebildet zusammen und drücken Sie, bis Sie ein
«Klick» hören.
2 Drehen Sie das Mikrofon in die gewünschte Position
für den Gebrauch auf dem linken oder rechten Ohr.
3 Justieren Sie die Länge des Überkopfbügels so, dass
das Headset angenehm und bequem auf Ihrem Kopf
sitzt.

Stromversorgung
Stecken Sie das Netzkabel in die markierte Buchse an der Basis des Headsets.
Stecken Sie das Netzgerät an eine 220-Volt-Steckdose.
Das Batteriesymbol beginnt weiss zu blinken.
Bedienung Headset
Headset einschalten
Drücken Sie einmal kurz auf die Rufannahme-Taste am Headset, die blaue LED am Headset
leuchtet für 2 Sek. auf.
Headset ausschalten
Drücken Sie die Rufannahme-Taste am Headset konstant, bis die blaue LED schnell zu blinken
beginnt. Anschliessend lassen Sie die Taste los, das Headset schaltet sich aus.
Headset an der Basisstation anmelden
Nehmen Sie das Headset aus der Basisstation und schalten Sie das Headset offline (Druck auf Rufan-
nahmeteste am Headset, blaues Online-Symbol an der Basisstation erlischt)
Drücken Sie die Pairingtaste an der Rückseite der Basisstation, bis das blaue Online-Symbol der
Basisstation beginnt zu blinken. (die Basisstation ist nun für 2 Minuten im Pairingmodus)
Drücken Sie die Stummschaltetaste am Headset, bis das Online-Symbol an der Basisstation erlischt.
(Das Pairing ist nun abgeschlossen)
Erfolgt nach 2 Minuten kein erfolgreiches Pairing, wird der Pairingmodus vom Headset und der
Basistation automatisch beendet. Das Pairing muss wiederholt werden.
Anschluss an einen PC
Stecken Sie das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel direkt an einen USB-Port an Ihrem PC (nicht am
USB-Hub oder Dokingstation).
Öffnen Sie die Soundeinstellungen in Ihrem PC und wählen Sie das FX840 USB
als Standardaudiogerät.

Einstellung des Softclient
Ihr FX840 ist bei der auslieferung für Skype for Business eingestellt.
Wenn Sie einen anderen Softclient nutzen öffnen Sie den freeVoice UC Manager
(www.freevoice.biz) und wählen Ihren UC client Anbieter aus.
(Die Möglichkeit der Rufannahmefunktion ist abhängig von Ihrem Softphone)
Rufannahme-Taste
Die Rufannahme-Taste ist dazu da, um Anrufe anzunehmen und zu beenden sowie um das Headset
ein- und auszuschalten.
Lautstärkeregelung
Mit den « +» und «–»-Tasten auf dem Headset können Sie die Hörerlautstärke Ihres Headsets an-
passen.
Mikrofon-Stummschalte-Taste
Mit der Mikrofon-Stummschalte-Taste können Sie Ihr Headsetmikrofon stummschalten und die
Stummschaltung wieder deaktivieren.

Anmelden eines sekundären Headsets
1 Beachten Sie, dass das primäre Headset, welches an der Basis-Station angemeldet ist, Online
ist. Dies erkennt man daran, dass das blaue Online-Symbol leuchtet. Drücken Sie die Pairing-
Taste für 5 Sek. Das Stummschaltungssymbol auf der Basis-Station beginnt rot zu Blinken.
Drücken Sie die Mikrofon-Stummschalte -Taste auf dem Headset für 3 Sek., bis die blaue LED
auf dem Headset blinkt. Wenn die LED auf der Basis-Station und auf dem Headset erlöschen,
ist das sekundäre Headset an der Basis-station angemeldet.
2 Wiederholen Sie diese Prozedur, um insgesamt bis zu drei zusätzliche Headsets anzumelden.
Führen eines Konferenzgesprächs
Schalten Sie das primäre Headset mit der Rufannahme-Taste online, so dass das Headset sym bol
auf der Basisstation blau leuchtet. Nun drücken Sie auf dem sekundären Headset die Rufannahme-
Taste, im primären Headset ertönt ein Signalton. Um dem sekundären Headset die Berechtigung zu
erteilen, drückt man beim primären Headset ebenfalls die Rufannahme-Taste. Die Konferenz ist
jetzt zwischen diesen beiden Headsets aufgebaut. Wiederholen Sie diese Prozedur bei möglichen
weiteren sekundären Headsets.
Beenden und Verlassen einer aktiven Konferenz
Beendet das primäres Headset den Anruf, wird die aktive Konferenz auf allen Headsets beendet.
Die sekundären Headsets bleiben jedoch noch an der Basisstation des primären Headsets
angemel det. Für eine erneute Konferenz wiederholen Sie den Abschnitt «Führen eines Konferen-
zgesprächs». Die Konferenzteilnehmer können eine aktive Konferenz auch verlassen. Dies
erreichen Sie durch ein kurzes Drücken auf die Rufannahme -Taste Ihres Headsets. Die restlichen
Teilnehmer bleiben in der Konferenz.
Abmelden von der Master-Basisstation
Um sich ganz aus dem Konferenz-Modus und von der Master-Basis-Station abzumelden melden
Sie das Headset wieder an seiner ursprünglichen Basis-Station an.

Fixation du serre-tête sur le micro-casque
1 Montez le micro-casque sur le serre-tête comme

Alimentation électrique

Utilisation du micro-casque
Allumer le micro-casque
Appuyez une fois brièvement sur la touche «prise d’appel» du micro-casque, la LED bleue située
sur le micro-casque s’allume pendant 2 s.
Éteindre le micro-casque
Appuyez sur la touche «prise d’appel» du micro-casque jusqu’à ce que la LED bleue se mette à cli-
gnoter. Relâchez ensuite la touche, le micro-casque s’éteint.
Enregistrement du micro-casque sur la station
Retirez le micro-casque de la station d’accueil et mettez-le hors ligne (en appuyant sur la touche de
prise d’appel de manière à ce que le LED «en ligne» bleu s’éteigne).
Appuyez sur la touche de pairing située sur le dos de la station jusqu’à ce que le LED «en ligne»
s’allume en bleu, puis relâchez le bouton. Le LED «en ligne» se met à clignoter.
Appuyez sur la touche Mute située sur le micro-casque jusqu’à ce que le LED «en ligne» de la station
s’éteigne: le micro-casque est alors connecté à la station d’accueil.
Si le pairing n’est pas réussi en l’espace de 2 min, le mode pairing du micro-casque se termine.
Dans ce cas, le pairing doit être répété.
Connexion à un PC
Branchez le câble USB fourni directement dans un port USB de votre PC (pas sur un Hub USB ou la
station d›accueil). Ouvrez les paramètres de son sur votre PC et sélectionnez le FX840 comme

périphérique audio standard.
Réglages des paramètres du logiciel
A la livraison, votre FX840 est configuré pour Skype for Business.
Si vous utilisez un autre logiciel, ouvrez le «freeVoice UC manager» (www.freevoice.biz)
et sélectionnez le logiciel que vous voulez utiliser (client UC).
(La possibilité de la fonction prendre un appel directement au casque dépend du logiciel

casque.

Inscrivez un casques secondaires
1 Vérifiez si le casque primaire, qui est enregistré auprès de la station de base, est en ligne. Cela
peut se vérifier si le symbole de la ligne bleue est allumé. Appuyez sur le bouton d’appairage
pendant 5 secondes. Le LED « Mode secret (micro) » sur la station de base commence à
clignoter en rouge. Appuyez sur le bouton « Mode secret (micro) » sur le casque pendant 3sec.,
Jusqu’à ce que le LED bleu clignote. Si les deux LEDs s’éteignent, le micro-casque secondaire
est enregistré à la station de base.
2 Répétez cette procédure pour enregistrer jusqu’à trois casques supplémentaires.
Tenue d’une conférence audio
Connectez en ligne le micro-casque primaire à l’aide de la touche «multifonction» de sorte que le
symbole «micro-casque» de la station s’allume en bleu. Appuyez ensuite sur la touche «prise
d’appel» du micro-casque secondaire, le micro-casque primaire émet un signal sonore. Pour trans-
mettre l’autorisation au micro-casque secondaire, appuyez également sur la touche «prise
d’appel» du micro-casque primaire. La conférence est alors établie entre ces deux micro-casques.
Répétez cette procédure pour tout autre éventuel micro-casque secondaire.
Arrêt et abandon d’une conférence active
Si l’on met fin à l’appel sur le micro-casque primaire, la conférence active est interrompue pour
tous les micro-casques. Les micro-casques secondaires restent toutefois enregistrés sur la station
du micro-casque primaire. Pour tenir une nouvelle conférence, répétez les étapes de la partie
«Tenue d’une conférence audio».
Les participants de la conférence peuvent aussi quitter une conférence active en appuyant briève-
ment sur la touche «prise d’appel» de leur micro-casque. Les autres participants poursuivent la con-
férence.
Déconnexion de la station maîtresse
Pour vous déconnecter complètement du mode conférence et de la station de base principale
inscrivez le casque secondaire sur sa station de base d’origine.

Installation
Fastening the headband to the headset
1 Assemble the headset and the headband as shown
and press together until you hear a «click».
2 Turn the microphone into the desired position for use
on the left or right ear.
3 Adjust the length of the headband so that the head-
set rests easily and comfortably on your head.

Power supply
Plug the mains lead into the marked socket on the base of the headset.
Plug the mains adapter into a 220-volt socket.
The battery symbol will start flashing (white).
Headset operation
Switching the headset on
Press the «Call acceptance» key briefly on the headset, the blue LED on the headset comes on for
2 sec.
Switching the headset off
Press and hold down the «Call acceptance» key on the headset until the blue LED starts to flash
rapidly. Then release the key; the headset switches off.
Logging the headset on the base station
Lift the headset from the base station and switch it offline (by pressing the call acceptance key so
that no blue online symbol lights up on the base station)
Press the pairing key on the rear of the base station until the blue online symbol lights up, then
release the key. The online symbol starts to flash.
Press the mute key on the headset until the online symbol on the base station goes out; the headset
is now connected to the base station.
If pairing has not been successful after 2 min, the pairing mode is terminated by the headset and base
station. Pairing then has to be repeated.

Connection to a PC
Plug the supplied USB cable directly into a USB port on your PC (not on the USB hub or dunking
station).
Open the sound settings in your PC and select the FX840 as the default audio device.
Setting the soft client
Your FX840 is set to ship for Skype for Business.
If you use another soft client, open the freeVoice UC Manager (www.freevoice.biz) and select
your UC client provider.
(The possibility of the call acceptance function depends on your softphone)
Call acceptance key
The «Call acceptance» key can be used to accept and terminate calls and to switch the headset on
and off.
Volume control
Use the «+» and «–» keys on the headset to adjust the earpiece volume of your headset.
Mute microphone key
You can use the «Mute microphone» key to mute your headset›s microphone and to deactivate
the mute mode again.

Logging on a secondary headset
1 Note that the primary headset registered to the base station is online. This is indicated by the
fact that the blue online symbol is lit. Press the pairing button for 5 sec. The mute icon on the
base station will flash red. Press the microphone mute button on the headset for 3 seconds
until the blue LED on the headset flashes. When the LEDs on the base station and on the
headset go out, the secondary headset is registered to the base station.
2 Repeat this procedure to log up to a total of three additional headsets.
Holding a conference call
Switch the primary headset online with the «Multifunction» key so that the headset symbol on
the base station comes on (blue). Now press the «Call acceptance» key on the secondary headset;
an acoustic signal will be heard in the primary headset. Press the «Call acceptance» key on the
primary headset too so as to authorise the secondary headset. The conference link has now been
established between these two headsets. Repeat this procedure for any further secondary headsets.
Terminating and leaving an active conference
If the primary headset terminates the call, the active conference is also terminated on all of the

To log off completely from the conference mode and from the master base station, reconnect the
