How To Insert Dispensing Set into the
standard ½ Gallon Plastic Container:
1. Unscrew lid from container.
2. Pour a minimum of 2 oz. of milk out of
the container*.
3. Insert dispensing set for plastic container
with attached long tube into opening in
lid. Insert the plug assembly by
positioning the smaller hole at 12 o’clock
and the raised hole at 6 o’clock
4. The MILKchiller™ II can now be loaded
with a standard ½ gallon plastic container
of diary product.
* Standard ½ gallon plastic containers are filled to the rim with milk and the
container is slightly bulging. Since the MILKchiller™ II chilling chamber is designed
tight for optimal cooling contact with the container, milk will be squeezed out of the
container while loading the chilling chamber if no milk was poured out prior to
inserting the container.
Load Container into MILKchiller™ II
It is required to keep all dairy products refrigerated prior to use in the
MILKchiller™ II. If using shelf stable milk, the MILKchiller™ II will
not operate until the milk has cooled to the safe temperature
specification.
To load the container into the MILKchiller™ II, regardless of the
type of container:
1. Lift the lid by pulling upward on the dispensing spout.
2. Orient the container so that the smaller of the two holes of the plug
inserted in the milk container is pointing to the front of the
machine.
3. Insert the container into the chilling chamber until it sits on the
bottom surface. Insert short flexible tube into the plug.
4.Insert the Air Hose Fitting into the smaller of the two open holes.
The small hole with the Air Hose Fitting should be in the 12 o’
clock position. See drawings below and on page 11 and 12 for
orientation. Press down for a tight fit.
5. Lower the lid to close the machine.
