WS80 Instruction manual
I.Main Function
1. Six functional keys, MODE,CH,UP, DOWN, SNOO E, ALERT
2. 7 language to show the day: English, Germany, French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish and Danish
3. Year, month, date, hour, minute, second display
4. Alarm and snooze function
5. 12/24 hour selectable
6. °C/°F selectable
7. Indoor thermometer range: 0°C-50°C
8. Outdoor thermometer transferred from Max.3 different transmitters, range: -20°C-60°C
9. Outdor sauna temperature display, range: -10°C-140°C

II.Power on and reset
1. When Power-On or reset, LCD full displays for 3 seconds, and after a “Beep” enter into
standard display; After checking indoor temperature, it enters into RF receiving for 3 minutes.
2. The calendar defaults Jan 1
st
,2011 0:00 , Alarm defaults 00:00. Time format defaults 24H.
Temp units default ℃. RF defaults CHANNEL 1

3.1 Normal Mode
1. Click “MODE” to switch time and alarm display

2. Under time display status, hold MODE to enter into time setting mode
3. Under alarm display status, hold MODE to alarm setting mode
4. Under alarm display status, click UP to switch on/off alarm
5. Click UP to check temperature max/min record
6. Hold UP for 2 seconds, clear temperature historical record
7. Click ALERT to turn on/off Alert function
8. Hold ALERT to enter into Alert setting mode
9. Click DOWN to switch C/F
10. Click CH to select channel, the display sequence is CH1→CH2→CH3→CH1
11. Hold CH for 2 seconds to re-register current channel
12. When alarm is ringing, click SN /LGT to enter into snooze function
3.2 Time setting
1. Under time display mode, hold MODE for 2 seconds to enter into time setting mode
2. There will be 1H flashing during setting
3. The setting sequence: 12/24 hour→hour → minute→year→month→date→language→exit
4. Press MODE to confirm setting and enter next setting state
5. Press UP one time, the setting will go ahead for one step; hold UP for 2 seconds, it will run
forward by 8 steps/second
6. Press DOWN one time, the setting will backward for one step; hold DOWN for 2 seconds, it
will run back by 8 steps/second
7. Week is changed according to the changing of month and date
8. The system will exit automatically if no key is operated in 20 seconds
3.3 Alarm setting
1. Under time display mode, press MODE to switch to Alarm display
2. The display sequence is : TIME→ALARM→TIME
3. Under ALARM display mode, hold MODE for 2 seconds to enter into alarm setting
4. There will be 1 H flashing during setting
5. The setting sequence is :Hour→minute
6. Press UP one time, the setting will go ahead for one step; hold UP for 2 seconds, it will run
forward by 8 steps/second
7. Press DOWN one time, the setting will backward for one step; hold DOWN for 2 seconds, it
will run back by 8 steps/second
8. The system will exit automatically if no key is operated in 20 seconds
9. Press UP to switch on/off alarm
3.4 Temperature alert setting
1. Hold ALERT for 2 seconds to enter into alert setting
2. The setting sequence is : Indoor temperature up limit→ Indoor temperature low limit→
Outdoor temperature up limit→ Outdoor temperature low limit → Sauna up limit → Sauna
low limit → Exit
3. During setting outdoor temperature alert, press CH to switch to different channel. For
example, when it is switched to channel 1, the outdoor tempeture alert setting is for channel 1.

When it is switched to channel 2, the outdoor temperature alert setting is for channel 2
4. Indoor temperature up limit defaults + 60°C, the low limit defaults -10°C
5. Outdoor temperature down limit defaults +70°C, the low limit defaults -50°C
6. Sauna up limit default +140 °C, the low limit defaults -10°C
7. When will be 1 H flashing during setting
8. Press ALERT to confirm setting and enter into next setting state
9. Press UP one time, the setting will go ahead for one step; hold UP for 2 seconds, it will run
forward by 8 steps/second
10. Press DOWN one time, the setting will backward for one step; hold DOWN for 2 seconds, it
will run back by 8 steps/second
11. The system will exit automatically if no key is operated in 8 seconds
IV Function and effect
4.1 The receiving function of RF
1. After installing the battery and checking temperature, it will enter RF receiving state
automatically for 3 minutes
2. Under normal display mode, hold CH for 2 seconds to clear out the channel information
3. If there is no effective signal with same ID code received for the current channel in 60
minutes, the temperature of that CH will show “_ _”
4. The temperature display will resume back when the correct signal is received again
5. RF receiving cycle: CH1= 57S, CH2=67S; CH3=79S
6. Sauna receiving cycle: 53S
4.2 Outdoor transmitter operation
1. After installing the batteries and checking temperature, it will display temperature data. And it
will transfer temperature data to main unit automatically
2. Press CH to switch the channel. Press °C/°F button to switch between temperature unit °
C and °F
3. When temperature under -20 °C, put the wire probe to outside and keep transmitter inside
the house.
4. The measuring temperature range: -50 °C to +70 °C
4.3 Sauna transmitter operation
1. The use of sauna transmitter: put the wire probe metal part inside the sauna room and sauna
transmitter main unit outside.
2. After installing the batteries and checking, it will display temperature data. And it will
transfer temperature data to main unit automatically
3. Press TX button to force it to send signal, you will see flash. When main unit
receive the signal from Sauna transmitter, it will sound BI
4. The measuring temperature range: -10 °C to +140 °C.
4.2 The function of alarm
1. The BU ER will ring for 2 minutes as below:
a. 0-10 sec: one “ BI “per second

b. 10-20sec: two “BI” per second
c. 20-30sec: four “BI” per second
d. After 30 sec: “BI” continuously
2. When ringing, click SNOO E once to enter into 5 minutes snooze states, exit if any other
key is clicked
