allows lamination to be completed quickly and simply with
Swingline GBC quality lamination output. Perfect for novice
users choosing automatic self setting to expert users with
multiple pouch thicknesses and document sizes.

Do not attempt to service or repair the pouch laminator yourself. Unplug the unit and contact an
authorized Swingline GBC service representative for any required repairs.

• Use this unit only for its intended use of laminating documents
• Only use 1.5 mil (with carrier) 3 mil, 5 mil, 7 mil or 10 mil pouches with this laminator
• Do not laminate an empty pouch
• The unit must be connect to a supply voltage corresponding to the electrical rating shown on

• Ensure the machine is clear of pouches prior to starting the next pouch

getting ready to laminate
Easy Set Up
1Remove the plastic exit tray from the box and place into the two holes on the back of the
laminator and extend to use. Ensure that there is sucient space behind the laminator for the
item to be removed.
2Take the electrical plug and place in an appropriate power source, which is near the table you
intend to use.
3 The laminator will briey ash the Swingline GBC logo on the control panel and will make an
audible beep.
4To use the laminator gently tap the ‘power on’ button.
NOTE: Your new laminator may emit
a slight odor during the initial
operation. Its is normal and will
diminish after a few hours of
operation.
Manual Select ( ) – scroll through and select the required micron setting, i.e. 3 mil.
NOTE: If 1.5 mil setting is selected
ALWAYS use a carrier.

loading the pouch
1 Take your item to be laminated and place into the laminating pouch. Ensuring it is rmly placed
along the sealed edge of the pouch.This is to help ensure that you get optimal quality output.
Before laminating important or unique documents, always run a test pouch through
the laminator using a similar type document.

Intelligent Pouch Select
Auto Pouch Select ( ) – the laminator automatically measures document and pouch
thickness and self set accordingly.
NOTE: In both Manual Select and Auto Pouch Select modes during
warm up the Wait indicator will ash until ready.

2Feed the sealed edge of the pouch, into the laminator between the guides.The laminator will
grip the pouch and guide it through to the exit tray.
NOTE: Do not force guides
against pouch
3Do not force guides tightly against pouch. Move guides to an appropriate setting to allow pouch
to be fed in without touching guides.
4When you are nished laminating tap the ‘power’ button and if required remove the tray, unplug
and store accordingly.

laminated item immediately
and lay on a at surface to
ensure optimal quality.
1 On the front of the laminator there are adjustable guides to help you feed your pouch accurately.
Move the guides to appropriate line which matches your pouch/ item to be laminated.

30 seconds, this is for cooling purposes.

NOTE: Never reuse a misfed or
jammed pouch.
NOTE: Do not put partially laminated
items back into the laminator.
If you wish to recover a partially fed pouch press and hold the “Reverse” button and the pouch will
be quickly reversed out of the laminator.You will hear a series of single beeps until Reverse button
is released.
Intelligent Status Alert
If you try to laminate a 1.5 mil pouch without a carrier the pouch will be automatically reversed out.
Intelligent Pouch Reverse
If pouch misfeed or jam starts to occur a constant beep will be emitted and the laminator will
automatically reverse the document out.

From the main menu select ( ) and the following options will appear:

Scroll through the menu to select the required setting and press enter:
Speed Adjust – Allows you to ne tune speed if required for optimal results. Use arrows to
adjust the speed, up (+) or down (-). Reducing the speed will slightly increase the exposure to
heat. Increasing the speed will slightly decrease the exposure to heat.
Job Counter – Allows you to count the number of documents laminated. Use the arrows to
select Reset if required.
Language Select – Scroll up or down to select desired language and press enter.

WIPE EXTERIOR ONLY WITH A DAMP CLOTH AND DO NOT USE
DETERGENTS OR SOLVENTS.
Regularly feed a cleaning card or sheet of paper through the laminator to clean
the rollers.
Intelligent Power O
For added safety and environmental reasons the laminator
will automatically go into sleep mode after 30 minutes of
inactivity. Just prior to shut-o a 10 second countdown will
commence, press any button to re-awaken the machine.

préparez-vous à plastifier
Facile à régler
1Retirez le plateau de sortie en plastique de la boîte et placez-le dans les deux trous à l’arrière
de la machine et étendez-le (voir l’illustration) Assurez-vous qu’il y a susamment d’espace
derrière la machine à plastier pour retirer les documents.
2Branchez la prise électrique dans une source d’alimentation appropriée près de la machine.
3Le logo GBC sur le panneau de contrôle de l’appareil clignotera brièvement et un bip se fera
entendre.
4 Pour utiliser la machine à plastier, tapez doucement sur le bouton « On ».
NOTE : Votre nouvelle machine à plastier
peut émettre une légère odeur durant le
premier fonctionnement. C’est normal et
devrait diminuer après quelques heures de
fonctionnement.

document et l’épaisseur de la pochette et procède au réglage.

1 Placez votre article à plastier dans la pochette de plastication. Assurez-vous qu’il est bien
placé le long du côté fermé de la pochette. Ceci assure que vous aurez un produit de qualité
à la sortie.
Avant de plastier un document important ou unique, toujours faire un test avant,
en passant un document similaire dans la machine.
NOTE : Ne coupez pas les pochettes avant la
plastication.

2Alimentez le bord scellé de la pochette dans l’appareil entre les guides. L’appareil agrippe la
pochette et la guide jusqu’à la sortie.
NOTE : Ne serrez pas les guides contre
la pochette.
1À l’avant de l’appareil, il y a des guides réglables pour vous aider à insérer la pochette avec
précision. Déplacez les guides sur la ligne appropriée à votre pochette/article à plastier.

3Ne pas serrer les guides contre la pochette. Déplacez les guides selon le réglage approprié
pour permettre à la pochette d’entrer dans l’appareil sans toucher aux guides.
4 Lorsque vous avez terminé de plastier, tapez sur le bouton « Power » et si nécessaire, retirez le
plateau, débranchez l’appareil et rangez-le.
À la sortie, retirez votre
document plastié
immédiatement et déposez-
le sur une surface plate an
d’assurer une qualité optimale.
NOTE : Le bruit émis par l’appareil que vous continuez d’entendre pendant 30 secondes après
l’avoir éteint correspond au début de la période de refroidissement.

NOTE : Ne jamais réutiliser une pochette

plastié partiellement dans l’appareil.
Si vous souhaitez récupérer une pochette partiellement insérée, appuyez et maintenez le bouton
«Reverse» et la pochette se mettra rapidement en marche arrière. Vous entendrez une série de
bips simples jusqu’à ce que le bouton de marche arrière soit relâché.
Alerte d’ètat intelligent
Si vous essayez de plastier une pochette de 40 mic sans pochette de transport, elle sera
automatiquement rejetée.
Marche arrière intellegente de la pochette
Si une pochette est mal insérée ou bloque à l’entrée, un bip constant sera émis et l’appareil
rejettera automatiquement le document à l’extérieur.

Délez dans le menu et choisissez le réglage nécessaire et appuyez sur «Enter»:
Réglage de la vitesse – Permet de peauner la vitesse si nécessaire pour des résultats
optimaux . Utilisez les èches pour régler la vitesse, élevée (+) ou basse (-). Réduire la vitesse
augmente légèrement l’exposition à la chaleur. Augmenter la vitesse diminue légèrement
l’exposition à la chaleur.
Compteur de travail – Permet de compter le nombre de documents plastiés. Utilisez les
èches pour remettre à zéro.
Choisissez la langue – Faites déler vers le haut/bas pour sélectionner le langage voulu
et appuyez sur ENTER.
