Safety Instructions
• Non-observance of the following notes may result in personal injury or material
damage (electric shock, skin burns, fire). The following safety and hazard information
is not only intended to protect your health and the health of others, it should also
protect the product.
For this reason, pay attention to these safety notes and include these instructions
when handing over the product to others.
• This heating blanket must not be used by people who are not sensitive to heat or
by vulnerable people who may not be able to react to overheating (e.g. diabetics,
persons with skin changes related to illness or persons with scarred skin in the area
where the blanket is to be applied, after taking any pain-relieving medication or
alcohol).
• This heating blanket may not be used by very young children (0-3 years old) as they
are unable to respond to overheating.
• This heating blanket may not be used by young children (3-8 years old) unless the
controller has been set by a parent or responsible adult and the child has been given
adequate instructions on how to use the heating blanket safely.
• This heating blanket may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or a lack of experience or knowledge,
provided that they are supervised and have been instructed on how to use the
heating pad safely, and are fully aware of the consequent risks of use.
• Children must not play with the heating blanket.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless
supervised.
• This heating blanket is not designed for use in hospitals.
• Do not insert needles.
• Do not use when folded or bunched up.
• Do not use if wet.
• This heating blanket may only be used in conjunction with the controller specified
on the label.
• The electrical and magnetic fields emitted by this heating blanket may interfere
with the function of a pacemaker. Please consult your doctor and the manufacturer
of your pacemaker before using this heating blanket.
• Do not pull, twist or make sharp bends in the cables.
• Please check this heating blanket frequently for signs of wear and tear or damage.
If any such signs are evident, if the heating blanket has been used incorrectly or if it
no longer heats up, it must be checked by the manufacturer before being switched
on again.
• If the mains connection cable of this device is damaged, it must be disposed of. If it
cannot be removed, the device must be disposed of.
• While the heating blanket is switched on, the following conditions must be
observed:
–Objects must not be placed on the blanket (e.g. suitcase or washing basket).

–Heat sources, such as hot water bottles, heating pads or similar, must not be placed
on the blanket.
• The electronic components in the controller warm up when the heating blanket is
in use. For this reason, the controller must never be covered or placed on the heating
blanket when it is in use.
• Always observe the notes on operation (section 4), cleaning and maintenance
(section 5) and storage (section 6).

Intended use
This heating blanket is only designed to warm up the human body.
The heating blanket is fitted with a SAFETY SYSTEM. This sensor technology provides
protection against overheating across the entire surface of the heating blanket with
an automatic switch-off in the event of a fault. If the SAFETY SYSTEM has switched off
the heating blanket, the temperature settings are no longer illuminated when
switched on. Please note that, for safety reasons, the heating blanket can no longer
be operated after a fault has occurred and must be sent to the specified service
address.

Controller
Using Your Throw
1. Connect the controller to the heating blanket by inserting the plug-in coupling.
2. Plug the mains plug into the power socket.
3. Press the ON/OFF button, the controller will illuminate and display 1 1.
4. Press the Temperature Setting button to increase the temperature of the blanket
from 1 (Lowest) –6 (Highest).
5. Press the Timmer button to select the desired number of hours you would like the
blanket to run for, 1-9 Hours.
Fast Heat
This heated blanket has a fast-heating function, which allows the heating blanket to
warm up faster in the first 30 minutes.
1. Press the ON/OFF button, the controller will illuminate and display 1 1.
2. Press the Fast-heat button the numbers will flash clockwise
3. After 30 minutes, the fast-heat function will shut-off automatically, the display
screen will then return back to the initial setting.

Washing:
ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE CONTROLLER AND POWER LEAD FROM THE HEATED
BLANKET BEFORE WASHING.
When hand washing, use a mild washing detergent and warm water. Soak for
5–10 mins and gently wash and rinse with clean water.
For machine washing, wash as wool at 400c
Drying:
It is recommended to air dry your heated blanket. Do not peg on the wired areas of
the blanket as this could damage the internal circuit. Do not wring the heated
blanket out, always ensure the blanket is fully dry and has returned to its original size
before use.
Storage
If you do not plan to use the heating blanket for a long period of time, we
recommend that you store it in the original packaging. For this purpose, disconnect
the controller from the heating blanket by unplugging the plug-in coupling.
Please allow the heating blanket to cool down before storing. Otherwise the
heating blanket may be damaged. Avoid sharp folds in the heating blanket, do not
place any objects on top of it while it is being stored.
