Unit
A lightweight easy to control unit with a pressure clutch, a special switching to let/right run. An assembly
with a quick-acting chuck and extenders.
Warning: Wear appropriate protection clothing when working with the impact screwdriver.
Follow the safety provisions.
Safety Provisions
Protect yourself and people around against accidents following respective safety provisions.
- Do not use the pneumatic screwdriver for any purpose other than assigned
- Keep the pneumatic tools away from children!
- Get down to work only when feeling rested and concentrated
- Connect the pressure air connection via the quick-acting connection
- The operating pressure should be set up via the reducer
- Do not use oxygen and flammables gases as the source of energy
- Disconnect the unit from the pressure air source before clearing a fault
- Use genuine spare parts only
- Never let the unit run unloaded at idling run.
- Wear appropriate protection clothing when wearing with impact screwdriver

Initial Operation

•Remove the protection from the pressure air
connection neck (Fig. 1/ Pos. 4). Pack the slip
connection (Fig. 1/Pos. 10) with a Teflon tape
and screw on.
•Push the quick-acting chuck (Fig. 1/ Pos. 1) down
and turn a bit if necessary. Now it is possible to
put an extender (Fig. 1/Pos. 8 + 9) on the quick-
acting chuck (Fig. 1/ Pos. 1). Lock the extender in
place by means of the quick-acting chuck (Fig. 1/
Pos. 1).
•Switch from run to the right to run to the left by
lever (Fig. 1/Pos. 2), marked „F“and „R“.
•Now, connect the pneumatic screwdriver with a
slip clutch/quick-acting clutch (Fig. 1/Pos. 10) to
a suitable pneumatic hose and a compressor of
provided capacity.
•Pressing the starting lever (Fig. 1/Pos. 5), put the
pneumatic screwdriver in operation.
Maintenance and Care
Observance of the maintenance instructions guarantees a long service life of this premium quality product.
The pneumatic screwdriver must be lubricated regularly. Regarding lubrication, select one of the following
options:
a) Oil-mist providing oilcan: The maintenance kit includes an oil can producing oil mist. It should be
fitted on the compressor.
b) Oil piping: Install oil-piping immediately at the unit (at a distance of some ca 50 cm). I will supply
sufficient quantities of oil to the unit.
If the pneumatic screwdriver is out of operation for several days, drop 5-10 drops of special oil in
the pressure air connection before re-starting.
c) Manual lubrication
If there is not a maintenance kit or the oil piping on your unit, 3-5 drops of special oil must be put in your
impact screwdriver air connection before any operation. Store your pneumatic screwdriver at dry places
only.
1. First Unplug the impact wrench from the air supply.
2. Second Add 4-6 drops of oil GUEDE-Air, Part No. 40 060 is pressed or the equivalent of oil
into the air inlet while the shutter button.
3. Third Connect the unit to the air and let it run about 30 seconds to remove excess oil.
This lubrication process helps to moisture, dust and dirt can be reduced, which accumulates in use
over time air in each unit, thus reducing its performance. The best protection against this, the use of
an integrated oil tank.
Every three months, or if the screwdriver is rarely used, you should remove the air hose and fill with a
larger amount of DL-oil into the air intake. Then connect the air hose back on and let the air
screwdriver about 30 seconds to run the engine of air to clean equipment. Follow the instructions on
the cleaning of lubrication.
