1. –IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock,
and injury to persons, including the following:
•WARNING: Please read all instructions before installing or using this heater for the first time.
•This heater is hot when in use. To avoid
burns, do not let bare skin touch hot
surfaces.
•Keep combustible materials, such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes,
etc. and curtains at least a foot (30cm) from
the front, sides and rear of the heater.
•It is essential that the indicated minimum
clearances are maintained.
•CAUTION — some parts of this product
can become very hot and cause burns.
Particular attention must be given where
children and vulnerable people are present.
•Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the heater.
•Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left
operating unattended.
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be made by children without supervision.
•Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed
or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years
shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
•Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
•Do not operate any heater after it malfunctions. Disconnect power at service panel and have heater inspected by a
reputable electrician before reusing.
•Do not use outdoors.
•To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, and turn off power to heater circuit at main disconnect panel.
•Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock
or fire, or damage the heater.
•To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner.
•Air inlets and outlets provide proper operation of the appliance and prevent its overheating. DO NOT cover air inlet
and outlet grills.
•A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or
liquids are used or stored.
•Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock, or injury to persons.
•This heater may include an audible or visual alarm to warn that parts of the heater are getting excessively hot. If the
alarm sounds (or illuminates), immediately turn the heater off and inspect for any objects on or adjacent to the heater
that may have blocked the airflow or otherwise caused high temperatures to have occurred.
•DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER WITH THE ALARM ILLUMINATING.
•This guide must be kept and given to any new user.

2. - INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The symbols used in the text are explained below:
WARNING This indication shows the possibility of causing death from electric shock.

Symbol for useful information.
IMPORTANT: Wiring procedures and connections shall be in accordance with the national and local codes having jurisdiction.
•The warranty of the heater will not cover any damage caused by non observance of any of these instructions.
•The installation must be carried out in accordance with the current local electrical regulations. Any installation or
reinstallation has to be carried out by an experienced technician.
•Please check that the voltage in the rating label fits the power supply.
•This appliance must be grounded.
•The appliance should not be installed just below an electrical receptacle.
•The appliance must be installed in such a way that it is impossible for anyone using a bath or shower, to touch the
controls.
•If during any installation the thermal insulation shows any sign of damage, it must be replaced.
•This heater should be switched off at the circuit breaker before any repair work is carried out. This should also be done
during times of the year when heat is not required.
•This appliance is only for permanent connection to a fix installation. After installation a survey of the first charging cycle
should be carried out to ensure that the main input thermostat switches off. Ventilate the room during this first cycle.
•Never open a charged heater.
•To maintain stability, it is essential that the heater is placed on a level surface and care should be taken to avoid
irregular surfaces, such as may result from carpets or tiled surrounds partially protruding under the heater.
•The presence of air particles of smoke, dust and other pollutants could, in time, discolor the walls and surfaces around
the heater.
In order to achieve a correct installation of this device, follow these steps:
1. - Choose the right location to install ECOMBI. The minimum clearances must be respected from the appliance to any
combustible material such as furniture or curtains. To reduce the risk of fire, do not store or use gasoline or other
flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of the heater.
2. - Open the carton at the indicated side and install the supporting feet without removing the heater.

Turn the carton upside down to allow the heater to stand on its feet and remove the carton. Check that it is the correct model
and that it is in good conditions.
Check that all parts have been delivered and are intact.

The casing and storage bricks are supplied separately. Check the supplied bricks packages correspond to the ones
indicated on the heater carton.
The heater operation is not affected if bricks with minor damage are used.
3. - Take off the front panel by removing the two screws located at the bottom. Fix the lateral fittings to the metal structure by
using the appropriate screws.
4.- Place ECOMBI in your selected installation area. Use the heater fixing holes as a template and mark the wall through the
fixing holes with a pencil. Drill the required holes into the wall. Place the dowels and screws into the holes before the appliance
installation but do not fasten them tightly.
5.- Attach ECOMBI to the dowels with the crews. IT MUST NOT BE HUNG ON THE SCREWS; these are used only to prevent
the device from overturning and not to support it. If there is any doubt concerning the wall strength, consult the corresponding
construction specialist. The appliances are heavy; it is the installer responsibility the correct installation and wall support of these
devices to prevent them from overturning.
6.- Connect the heater using the wiring diagram included at the end of this manual. Tighten properly the connection block
screws. Use only silicone insulated cables. Do not leave any remaining wire inside the heater.
WARNING Touching live connections can cause serious personal injury.

7. - Disconnect the aluminum heating element by removing the stakon terminal on each end of the element.
WARNING Steel edges can cut.
Next unscrew the inner panel and remove it.
CAUTION In the interior part of this inner panel
there is a very delicate thermal insulation MICROTHERM panel. It
has to be handled with extreme care. AVOID TOUCHING IT.

8. Do not disconnect the electrical heating elements. Remove the packing cardboard. Lift and tilt the elements outwards being
careful not to damage the insulation on the bottom of the heater.
9. - Place the storage bricks carefully, with the flat side facing the back of the heater. Arrange two row levels of bricks.
10. Place the heating elements back into their original position. Place the other two rows of storage bricks with the flat side
facing out and always on the heating elements supporting tabs.

11. Replace the inner front panel. If the bricks have been fitted correctly you will have no difficulty in replacing the panel. Make
sure the bottom edge of the inner panel is inside the front lip of the heater. Please see below:
12. - Reconnect the two stakon terminals to the aluminum heating element attached to the inner panel at both ends.
13. – When replacing the exterior front panel, align the 2 plastic upper pegs on the heater with the holes in the exterior panel.
Push the top up into place and push the bottom in until it rests on the plastic feet.
14. - Replace the front panel with screws.
RELOCATION
WARNING: Relocation to another location must be carried out by an experienced technician.
If during reinstallation the thermal insulation shows any sign of damage, it must be removed and replaced by an identical part.
MANUALLY RESET TEMPERATURE LIMITER
This heater employs a manually reset temperature limiter (see LR in the connection diagram).
This safety device operates when high temperatures are reached at the top of the heater. It requires re-setting manually:
Let the heater cool. The cause of overheating should be investigated.
WARNING: Re-setting manually must be carried out only by an experienced technician.
Turn off the heater at the circuit breaker.
Take off the front panel by removing the two screws located at the bottom. Find the limiter at the top of the inner panel behind
the grill and push the small pin until a click is heard.

ECO INTERVAL PERIOD WITH REDUCED TEMPERATURE
It is possible to set up a reduced temperature to a daily time period. During this ECO TEMPERATURE time period the set up
temperature will be reduced by 3ºC.
Using the PC and PD settings under GENERAL SETTINGS it is possible to program the ECO TEMPERATURE time period. See
the “General Settings” section to modify them.
PC sets up the starting time of the ECO TEMPERATURE period.
PD sets up the ending time of the ECO TEMPERATURE period.
For example, if we have a set up temperature of 21.5ºC and introduce a PC time of 13:00h and a PD time of 17:00h, we will
have an ECO TEMPERATURE period from 13:00h to 17:00h with a set up temperature of 18.5ºC. For the rest of the day the
set up temperature will be 21.5ºC
Once the ECO TEMPERATURE time period has been programmed, it will be repeated every day.
If WEEKLY PROGRAMMING is activated it is possible to override the ECO TEMPERATURE time period on Saturday and/or
Sunday.
Under clock settings and only for days number 6 and 7 (Saturday and Sunday) we can programme the following options:
-FROST PROTECTION MODE will be represented by one small vertical bar.
-SELECTED MODE will be represented by two vertical bars. In this option we will maintain the last mode selected
(out of the five modes available) WITH ECO TEMPERATURE time period.
-SELECTED MODE, WITHOUT ECO TEMPERATURE time period, it will be represented with two bars and a small
red dot beside.
To cancel the ECO TEMPERATURE time period set up the same hour in PC and PD settings.
In this example, Ecombi will be operating in normal
mode from Monday (day 1) to Friday WITH ECO
TEMPERATURE time period, and it will be operating in
normal mode WITHOUT ECO TEMPERATURE time
period on Saturday and Sunday.

5.- MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Before cleaning, make sure the power has been turned off at the circuit breaker panel and that the heating element of the heater
is cool.
Occasionally, clean dust with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use any solvent or abrasive product for cleaning.
When the Heating season is finished, please disconnect the device by turning off the power switch located at the right back of
the unit or at the circuit breaker.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized technician.
ECOMBI has been manufactured under a fully assured quality system and using environmentally friendly processes. Once
its useful life is finished please take the device to a recycling depot so that its components can be recycled in an
appropriate way.

1. – INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANTES

•AVERTISSEMENT : Veuillez lire l’ensemble des instructions avant d’installer ou d'utiliser ce radiateur
pour la première fois.
•Ce radiateur est chaud lorsqu’il est en
marche. Ne laissez pas les surfaces chaudes
entrer directement en contact avec votre
peau afin d’éviter les brûlures.
•Tenez les matériaux combustibles tels que
des meubles, oreillers, literie, papiers,
vêtements, etc., et rideaux à au moins 30 cm
de l’avant, des côtés et de l’arrière du
radiateur.
•Il est essentiel de respecter les
dégagements minimum indiqués.
•ATTENTION — Certaines pièces de ce
produit peuvent devenir très chaudes et provoquer des brûlures. Faites particulièrement attention en présence
d’enfants et de personnes vulnérables.
•Les enfants doivent être surveillés afin de garantir qu'ils ne jouent pas avec le radiateur.

•N’utilisez pas un radiateur défaillant. Débranchez l’alimentation au niveau du panneau de service et faites vérifier le
radiateur par un électricien de renommée avant de le réutiliser.
•N’utilisez pas l’appareil à l’extérieur.
•Pour débrancher le radiateur, éteignez les commandes, puis l’alimentation du circuit de chauffage sur le panneau de
coupure.
•N’insérez ou ne laissez aucun corps étranger pénétrer dans un orifice de ventilation ou d’échappement, car cela
pourrait causer un choc électrique, un incendie ou endommager le radiateur.
•Ne bloquez pas les entrées ou l'extracteur d'air d'une quelconque manière afin d'éviter un possible incendie.
•Les entrées et sorties d’air assurent le bon fonctionnement de l’appareil et l’empêchent de surchauffer. Ne couvrez PAS
les grilles d’entrée et de sortie d’air.
•Ce radiateur comporte des pièces pouvant amorcer un arc ou générer des étincelles. Ne l’utilisez pas dans des endroits
dédiés à l’utilisation ou au stockage d’essence, de peinture ou de vapeurs ou liquides inflammables.
•Utilisez ce radiateur exclusivement comme expliqué dans le présent manuel. Toute autre utilisation non recommandée
par le fabricant risque de provoquer un incendie, un choc électrique ou des blessures corporelles.
•Ce radiateur peut être doté d'une alarme sonore ou visuelle pour vous avertir de la chauffe excessive de certaines
pièces du radiateur. Si l'alarme retentit (ou s'allume), éteignez immédiatement le radiateur et vérifiez la présence

2. - INSTRUCTIONS D'INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT : Les procédures de câblage et de raccordements doivent être conformes aux codes nationaux et locaux en
vigueur.
•La garantie du radiateur ne couvre pas les dommages provoqués par le non-respect d'une de ces instructions.
•L'installation doit être réalisée conformément aux réglementations électriques locales en vigueur. Toute installation ou
réinstallation doit être réalisée par un technicien spécialisé.
•Veuillez vérifier que la tension spécifiée sur la plaque signalétique correspond à l'alimentation électrique.
•Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre.
•L'appareil ne doit pas être installé directement sous une prise électrique.
•L'appareil doit être installé de manière à ce qu'une personne prenant un bain ou une douche ne soit pas en mesure d'en
toucher les commandes.
•Si l'isolation thermique présente des signes d'endommagement pendant une installation, elle doit être remplacée.
•Ce radiateur doit être éteint avec le coupe-circuit avant toute tâche de réparation. Les tâches de réparation doivent en
outre être réalisées à des époques de l'année ne nécessitant pas de chauffage.
•Cet appareil est prévu uniquement pour un raccordement permanent à une installation fixe. Après l'installation, il
convient de réaliser un contrôle du premier cycle de charge afin de garantir que l'entrée de thermostat principale
s'éteint correctement. Aérez la pièce pendant ce premier cycle.
•N'ouvrez jamais un radiateur chargé.
•Afin d'assurer la stabilité du radiateur, il est essentiel de le placer sur une surface plane et d'éviter les surfaces
irrégulières, par exemple des tapis ou carrelages partiellement protubérants sous le radiateur.
•À terme, la présence de particules de fumée, de poussière et d'autres polluants peut décolorer les murs et surfaces
autour du radiateur.
Suivez les étapes suivantes pour réaliser une installation correcte :
1. - Choisissez le bon emplacement pour installer ECOMBI. Il est essentiel de respecter les dégagements minimums entre
l'appareil et tout matériau combustible, par exemple des meubles ou rideaux. Ne stockez ou n'utilisez pas d'essence ou
d'autres vapeurs et liquides inflammables à proximité du radiateur afin de réduire le risque d'incendie.
2. - Ouvrez le carton du côté indiqué et installez les pieds de support sans retirer le radiateur.

Retournez le carton tête en bas pour permettre au radiateur d'être debout sur ses pieds et retirer le carton. Vérifiez qu'il s'agit
du bon modèle et qu'il est en bon état.
Vérifiez que toutes les pièces sont fournies et intactes.

-1 sac contenant 2 vis et 2 goujons.
-2 pieds de support.
-Le présent guide.
Le boîtier et les briques d'accumulation sont fournis séparément. Vérifiez que les packs de briques fournis correspondent
à ceux indiqués sur le carton du radiateur.
Le fonctionnement du radiateur n'est pas affecté par l'utilisation de briques légèrement endommagées.
3. - Retirez le panneau avant en ôtant les deux vis situées en bas. Fixez les raccords latéraux à la structure métallique en utilisant
les vis appropriées.
4. - Placez ECOMBI dans la zone d'installation choisie. Utilisez les orifices de fixation du radiateur comme masque et marquez le
mur à travers ces orifices à l'aide d'un stylo. Percez les trous requis dans le mur. Placez les goujons et vis dans les trous avant
l'installation de l'appareil, mais ne les serrez pas complètement.
5. Fixez ECOMBI aux goujons avec les vis. L'APPAREIL NE DOIT PAS ÊTRE SUSPENDU AUX VIS ; elles sont utilisées
uniquement pour éviter qu'il se retourne et non pour le supporter. En cas de doute sur la résistance du mur, consultez un
spécialiste de la construction approprié. Les appareils sont lourds ; l'installateur est responsable de leur bonne installation et du
choix du support mural de ces appareils, afin d'éviter qu'ils ne se retournent.
6. - Branchez le radiateur en suivant le schéma de câblage inclus à la fin de ce manuel. Serrez correctement les vis de bloc de
raccordement. Utilisez uniquement des câbles à isolation de silicone. Ne laissez pas de câble à l'intérieur du radiateur.
AVERTISSEMENT Toucher des raccordements sous tension peut provoquer des blessures corporelles graves.

7. - Débranchez l'élément de chauffage en aluminium en retirant la borne Sta-Kon de chaque extrémité de l'élément.
AVERTISSEMENT Les bords en acier peuvent couper.
Dévissez ensuite le panneau intérieur et retirez-le.
ATTENTION Un panneau d'isolation thermique
MICROTHERM très sensible se trouve dans la partie intérieure de
ce panneau intérieur. Il doit être manipulé avec grande précaution.

8. Ne débranchez pas les éléments de chauffage électriques. Retirez le carton d'emballage. Soulevez et basculez les éléments vers
l'extérieur en prenant garde à ne pas endommager l'isolation en bas du radiateur.
9. - Placez soigneusement les briques d'accumulation avec le côté plat orienté face à l'arrière du radiateur. Disposez deux
rangées de briques.
10. Remettez les éléments de chauffage dans leur position initiale. Positionnez les deux autres rangées de briques d'accumulation
avec le côté plat orienté vers l'extérieur et toujours sur les languettes de support des éléments de chauffage.
