1. Site Selection
Ensure the selected install
location is within sight of both
the tank unit(s) and the relevant
display unit.
a.
The solar panel should always
face towards the equator:
Southern hemisphere:
Panel faces north
Northern hemisphere:
Panel faces south
Avoid placing in a shady area.
b.
a. Open the repeater
NOTE: Only one Active Repeater can be used with each Water Monitoring System.
Daisy chaining multiple repeaters is not supported.

3. Turn on the repeater
To maximise power output:
To recharge battery:
To maximise power output, keep the solar panel surface clean.
Periodically clean with water and a mild detergent using a soft cloth or sponge.
WOOD POST
Mounting Instructions
Screw onto wood post through mounting
holes in handle of repeater unit.
STEEL POST
Mounting Instructions
Place repeater on top of steel post via hole
in base of unit.
Switch the repeater off. Place in direct sunlight for 4 days with battery connected
(RED+, BLACK- )
OR
Charge battery for 24 hours with a 6 Volt Battery Charger at less than 1 Amp.
DO NOT USE a 12 Volt Charger as this will damage the battery.

When turned on, the repeater will go through an
initialisation period. Once complete LED’s will flash
blue and white to indicate power and successful
start up.
The repeater will now automatically relay messages
that were previously not being transmitted between
the base unit and the tank unit(s).
