1-Non utilizzare l’apparecchio con le mani bagnate, in
luoghi umidi o su superfici bagnate. Non immergerlo in
acqua o in altri liquidi. 2- Non utilizzare questo apparecchio
in prossimità di vasche da bagno oppure di altri recipienti
contenenti acqua. 3- Staccare l’apparecchio dalla
spina quando è spento perché la vicinanza all’acqua

potrebbe rappresentare una minaccia, porre particolare
attenzione quando lo si utilizza nel bagno. 4- Evitare di
utilizzare questo apparecchio elettrico qualora sia
precedentemente entrato in contatto con sostanze
liquide, se presenta il cavo di alimentazione danneggiato
o se sono evidenti rotture sulla parte esterna del corpo
o in qualche suo accessorio. Nel caso in cui l’apparecchio
non funzioni correttamente, staccarlo subito dalla
corrente e recarsi in un centro tecnico per un controllo.
5- Al fine di evitare rischi, nel caso in cui il cavo di
alimentazione risulti danneggiato, richiedere immediatamente
la sua sostituzione al produttore, presso un centro
riparazioni autorizzato oppure rivolgendosi a personale
qualificato. 6- Mantenere l’apparecchio e il cavo di
alimentazione lontano da fonti di calore e da superfici
sensibili al calore (plastica, tessuti vinilici, ecc). 7- Non
reggere né maneggiare l’apparecchio dal cavo. Evitare

di avvolgere il cavo attorno all’apparecchio, di piegarlo
e di sottoporlo a torsioni che possano comprometterne
il corretto funzionamento e quindi danneggiare l’asciu-
gacapelli. La mancata osservanza delle suddette avver-
tenze ed indicazioni potrebbe causare un cortocircuito e
quindi danni irreparabili all’asciugacapelli, oltre che
mettere a rischio l’incolumità dell’utilizzatore. 8- Se il
cavo di alimentazione presenta parti deteriorate dovrà
essere sostituito unicamente da personale specializzato.
Non utilizzare dispositivi e/o accessori modificati o che
non siano stati omologati dal produttore. 9- Staccare
l’apparecchio quando non viene utilizzato e attendere
che si raffreddi prima di riporlo in luogo sicuro. Per
scollegarlo estrarre il cavo dalla spina. 10- Se si desidera
pulire l’apparecchio, staccarlo dalla presa di corrente e
lasciarlo raffreddare. Per la pulizia non utilizzare prodotti
aggressivi contenenti phenylphenol. 11- Destinare

questo prodotto unicamente allo scopo per il quale è
stato creato. 12- Come misura di protezione aggiuntiva,
si raccomanda di installare nel circuito elettrico che
alimenta il bagno un interruttore differenziale (RCD, dalla
sua originale dicitura in lingua inglese) con un limite di
interruzione che non superi i 30 mA. Consultare il proprio
elettricista.
Questo prodotto non deve essere utilizzato da persone
con ridotte capacità fisiche (bambini inclusi), motorie o
mentali, o con ridotta conoscenza del prodotto stesso,
a meno che non siano state istruite all’uso del prodotto
stesso o con la supervisione di una persona responsabile
per la propria sicurezza. I bambini devono essere
sempre supervisionati affinché non giochino con i

PERIODO DI GARANZIA LIMITATA:
Il periodo di garanzia standard per gli asciugacapelli
commercializzati al pubblico è di 24 mesi, secondo
quanto stabilito dalla Direttiva Europe 1999/44/CE. Il
periodo di garanzia professionale per gli asciugacapelli
che vengono utilizzati nei saloni di bellezza e per qualsiasi
altro scopo professionale, prevede la durata di 6 mesi
a decorrere dalla data d’acquisto.
Per entrambi i casi la validità della garanzia avrà luogo
all’esibizione della prova d’acquisto in originale leggibile
ed integra in tutte le sue parti, in quanto a far fede
sono data ed articolo. Per accedere al servizio di
assistenza in garanzia è necessario recarsi con la

prova di acquisto in originale nel punto vendita nel
quale è stato effettuato l’acquisto. Oppure si può usufruire
di uno dei tanti Centri Assistenza Tecnica GAMA sul
territorio. Il prodotto verrà riparato gratuitamente,
oppure immediatamente sostituito con un prodotto di

ATTENZIONE
L’apparecchio è provvisto di un rivestimento protettivo attorno alle serpentine di riscaldamento.
Quando l’apparecchio viene collegato e messo in funzione per la prima volta potrebbe verificarsi
una momentanea fuoriuscita di fumo, dovuta al rivestimento della resistenza che viene riscaldata
per la prima volta. Ciò non costituisce un pericolo per l’utente e non indica un malfunzionamento
dell’apparecchio. Quando l’apparecchio viene utilizzato per la prima volta, lasciarlo in funzione
sino a quando il fumo non scompare. Questo dovrebbe avvenire in circa 30 secondi.

COLPO D’ARIA FREDDA:
Premendo questo pulsante è possibile fissare la piega definitivamente, deve essere utilizzato a
motore acceso. Se premuto, l’aria calda si raffredda istantaneamente e conferisce una migliore
tenuta della piega; se rilasciato il flusso d’aria torna nell’impostazione corrispondente al livello
selezionato.

MOTORE AC PROFESSIONALE
Gli asciugacapelli professionali della linea ULTRA hanno un Motore AC studiato per durare a
lungo in un salone professionale. La sua elevata capacità di asciugatura li rende uno strumento
ideale per gli stilisti più esigenti.
TECNOLOGIA ION (dove presente)
La versione ION possiede un sistema di ionizzazione all’interno dell’apparecchio, che produce e
rilascia ioni negativi. In questo modo il processo di asciugatura è più naturale e consente una
rigenerazione del capello, per un aspetto più brillante e sano. Questa funzione si attiva
automaticamente all’accensione dell’apparecchio.
BOCCHETTE ULTRASTRETTE
Due bocchette ultrasottili da 4 mm e da 8 mm aiutano a concentrare il flusso d’aria in maniera
precisa, facilitando l’acconciatura in salone.
UTILIZZO DEGLI ACCESSORI IN DOTAZIONE:
Per montare l’accessorio che si desidera utilizzare occorre inserirlo facendo coincidere le quattro
alette di incastro presenti su di esse, con le quattro fessure di plastica presenti sul corpo del
prodotto. Poi girare l’accessorio in senso orario, in direzione dell’immagine del lucchetto chiuso.
Per rimuovere l’accessorio, invece, girarlo in senso antiorario verso l’immagine del lucchetto
aperto.
IMPORTANTE:
Utilizzare solo gli accessori originali dell’apparecchio GAMA.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Tutti gli apparecchi sono dotati di un sistema innovativo che consente l’espulsione dei capelli
evitando così che entrino in contatto con parti del motore.
Una corretta ed efficace manutenzione dei prodotti consente di ottenere elevate prestazioni e di
allungare la vita del prodotto stesso.

Prima di procedere alla pulizia degli apparecchi staccali dalla presa di corrente e attendi che si
siano raffreddati.
Un phon ben conservato e mantenuto dura molto più a lungo di uno non curato. È quindi importante
ricordarsi di tenere pulita la presa d’aria del proprio phon; pertanto servendosi di un aspiratore di
polvere, rimuovere le impurità depositate sulla griglia posteriore. Pulire il corpo dell’apparecchio
con un panno umido e morbido.
Assicurarsi che l’apparecchio sia completamente asciutto prima di utilizzarlo.

LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD:
The standard warranty period for the hair dryers we
market is 24 months in compliance with European
Directive 1999/44/EC. The professional warranty
period for hair dryers that are used at beauty salons
and for any other professional purposes is 6 months
from the date of purchase.
In both cases, the warranty shall be valid upon presentation
of the proof of purchase consisting of original invoice
or purchase ticket indicating the date of purchase and
product type. Such proof must be legible, full and
undamaged. For support service under warranty,
please take the original purchase ticket / sales receipt
to the shop where the product was purchased. The
product will be repaired free of charge or immediately
replaced with similar product of equal or greater value.

CAUTION
This appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When plugged in
and operated for the first time, there may be a momentary burning smell. This occurs as the
coating around the heating element is heated for the first time. This is not dangerous for the user
and does not indicate a defect in the unit. When using the appliance for the first time, keep it
working until the smoke dissipates. Smoke dissipates after about 30 seconds.

Speed and temperature have different adjusting buttons.

COOL SHOT:
This button is used for setting the style; motor should be on. When this button is pushed, the hot
air is immediately cooled and helps to better set the style. Once the button is released, the air flow
goes back to the setting selected.
PROFESSIONAL AC MOTOR
The professional hair dryers of the ULTRA line have an AC Motor designed to last a long time with
intense use in a professional salon. Its high drying capacity makes this appliances an ideal instrument
for the most demanding stylists.
ION TECHNOLOGY (if available)
The ION version features an ionisation system inside the appliance that produces and releases
negative ions. In this way the hair drying process is more natural and hair regenerates better. The
result: your hair looks more natural and shinier. This is an automatic function that gets activated
when the unit is switched on.
ULTRA-NARROW CONCENTRATOR NOZZLES
Two 4 mm and 8 mm ultra-narrow concentrator nozzles help to concentrate the air flow accurately
facilitating hairstyling in the salon.
HOW TO USE ATTACHMENTS SUPPLIED:
To fit the attachment that you wish to use, insert it lining up the four interlocking tabs on it with
the four plastic slots on the body of the product. Then turn the attachment clockwise, towards

the locked padlock icon. To remove the attachment, turn it counterclockwise towards the unlocked
padlock icon.
IMPORTANT:
Always use original GAMA accessories.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
All our appliances feature an innovative system that prevents hair getting into contact with
motor parts.
Keep your appliance well maintained in order to ensure the best performance and to extend
product life cycle.
Before cleaning a unit, unplug it from the power outlet and wait until it cools off.
A well kept and maintained hair dryer lasts much longer than one that is not taken care of.
Remember to keep the air intake of your hair dryer clean; use a vacuum cleaner to remove any
impurities that may have deposited on the rear grille. Clean the body of the appliance with a soft
damp cloth.
Make sure that the appliance is completely dry before using it.
