Quick Set-Up Guide
Using the Electric Blower Shredder Vac
First fit together the front suction tube (1), the rear suction tube (2) and the rear blower tube
(3) Then screw the tubes together using two of the longer screws (11) provided. Finally, fit the
suction tube assembly into the motor housing and affix them in place with the one long screw
(11) and with one short screw (12) on each side.
Fit the debris bag (7) by hooking the bag eyelet onto the hook on the suction tube. Then slip the
debris bag connector over the outlet port on the motor housing. Ensure that there is an audible
click when they engage.
Then fasten the carry strap, by opening the quick fastener and passing the carrying strap (4)
through the metal eyelet at the top of the front handle (10) and close the quick fastener.
Adjust the strap length to suit your working position.
The ON/OFF switch (5) on top of the rear handle towards the front operates the unit. Push
forward for ON "1", or back for OFF "0". There is a speed controller wheel (13) on the left hand
side of the housing, near the ON/OFF switch.
On the left hand side just above the debris bag (7), there is a lever (8) which controls the blow /
suck function.
Turn the lever up for the vacuum & shredding (mulch) function.
Turn the lever down for the blowing function.

Safety Precautions
• Always switch off and disconnect from the mains, and wait until the motor has stopped
before altering any settings, carrying out any maintenance, inspection, or cleaning of
the unit.
• Before use, always inspect the unit for signs of wear or damage. Never use the unit in wet
conditions; or if there are inflammable or explosive fluids, liquids or gases nearby; or if
the mains cable has been snagged or appears damaged. Disconnect the plug immediately
from the power supply if the unit suffers from unusual vibrations.
• Always keep other people, children and pets at least 10 m away from the unit while it
is working.
• Always work in good light, wear strong anti slip footwear and trousers. Ensure your feet
are a good distance from the end of the tube / wheels.
• Never allow children or others who are not familiar with the operating instructions to use
this blowing / suction (and shredding) unit.
• When using any electrical equipment outdoors it is recommended that you connect it to
the mains supply via an RCD (Residual Current Device) to help in protecting against the
risk of electric shock. The operating current of the RCD must not exceed 30mA.
IMPORTANT!
Please read all the warnings contained in the instruction booklet.
IMPORTANT!
To stop the blower / shredder vacuum unit, push the on/off switch backward.
CAUTION!
Empty the debris bag before blowing. Otherwise, the material that has been
vacuumed up could come out.
