3. INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA
PUESTA EN SERVICIO
Gracias por haber adquirido el brazo de apoyo ARM
450, que le ayudará a reducir el esfuerzo de mantener
una herramienta suspendida trabajando en altura.
La capacidad del brazo de apoyo ARM 450 esta entre
3 y 5 kg. Este brazo de apoyo, sólo se puede utilizar
para máquinas que pesen entre 4 y 8 kg.
3.1. MONTAJE
El uso indebido del accesorio como el apoyo de más
peso del recomendado puede resultar en situaciones
de peligro para el usuario. El fabricante no se hará
responsable de estas situaciones de abuso.
1. Coloque el muelle en el tubo superior. De fábrica,
el muelle está ajustado al máximo.
2. Acople el tubo superior al inferior. Apriete el pomo
(A) para fijar los tubos en posición.
3. Con el pomo (B), se puede ajustar el hueco entre
la almohadilla superior y la inferior para conseguir
la posición más ergonómica para su espalda.

4. ANTES DE SU USO
¡ATENCIÓN!
¡No abra el brazo de apoyo! Si tiene cualquier duda
sobre el funcionamiento del brazo de apoyo, llévelo a
su servicio post venta más cercano.
Antes de usar el brazo de apoyo, siempre debe
realizar las siguientes comprobaciones:
1. Comprobar que ningún tornillo esté suelto.
2. Comprobar si hay grietas o algún defecto en el
punto de enganche.
3. Que el cable y cadena de enganche están
acoplados de forma segura al brazo de apoyo.
4. Comprobar que el resto del accesorio no tenga
grietas o roturas.
5. Comprobar que el pomo apriete correctamente.
5. FUNCIONAMIENTO
5.1. AUSTE DE LA TENSION
5.1.1. ATENCIÓN ESPECIAL ANTES DE AJUSTAR LA
TENSION
1. Siempre presione la palanca para soltar el pomo
negro antes de girar el pomo.
2. Ajuste la tensión del cable siempre sin peso sobre
el accesorio. El cable debe estar siempre dentro de
su funda protectora. Esto evitará cualquier
movimiento brusco o repentino del cable y que
este produzca daños al usuario y a la gente que
le rodea.
Si el cable se desenrolla fuera de su funda, reduzca
la tensión tal y enrolle el cable a su posición correcta.
Presione la palanca 1 cm a su derecha y gire el pomo
en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj.

5.1.2. COMO AJUSTAR LA TENSIÓN
Es posible ajustar la tensión del cable de tal manera
que reduzca el peso de la máquina hasta en un 80%.
La situación ideal es poder levantar la máquina sin
esfuerzo con sólo el uso de una mano.
Para incrementar la tensión del cable, presione la
palanca 1 cm a la derecha y gire el pomo en el
sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj.
Para reducir la tensión del cable, presione la palanca
1 cm a la derecha y gire el pomo en el sentido de las
agujas del reloj.
5.2. USO
Ajuste la anilla al asa delantera de su máquina o a
aquel pujto de su máquina donde encuente el mejor
punto de equilibrio.
6. ALMACENAMIENTO
De no utilizar el accesorio, suelte la tensión del cable
al mínimo y almacene el accesorio en un sitio seco
para prevenir que se oxide.
7. INFORMACIÓN SOBRE LA
DESTRUCCIÓN DEL EQUIPO/
RECICLADO
Deshágase de su producto de manera
ecológica. No debemos deshacernos
de las máquinas junto con la basura
doméstica. Sus componentes de plástico
y de metal pueden clasificarse en función de su
naturaleza y reciclarse.
Los materiales utilizados para embalar este
producto son reciclables. Por favor, no tire
los embalajes a la basura domestica. Tire
estos embalajes en un punto oficial de
recogida de residuos.

8.1.- PERIODO DE GARANTÍA
- El periodo de garantía (Ley 1999/44 CE) según los
términos descritos a continuación es de 2 años a
partir de la fecha de compra, en piezas y mano de
obra, contra defectos de fabricación y material.
8.2.- EXCLUSIONES
La garantía Garland no cubre:
- Desgaste natural por uso.
- Mal uso, negligencia, operación descuidada o falta
de mantenimiento.
- Defectos causados por un uso incorrecto, daños
provocados debido a manipulaciones realizadas a
través de personal no autorizado por Garland o uso
de recambios no originales.
8.3.- TERRITORIO
- La garantía Garland asegura cobertura de servicio
en todo el territorio nacional.
8.4.- EN CASO DE INCIDENCIA
- La garantía debe ir correctamente cumplimentada
con todos los datos solicitados, y acompañada por
la factura.

3. START UP INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for purchasing the support arm ARM
450, which will help reduce the effort of keeping a
suspended tool at working height.
The capacity of this arm support ARM 450 is between
3 and 5 kg. This support arm can only be used for
machines that weigh between 4 and 8 kg.
3.1. ASSEMBLY
Improperly using the accessory by using more weight
than recommended may result in dangerous situations
for the user. The manufacturer is not liable for these
situations due to abuse.
1. Place the dock on the top tube. At the factory, the
dock is set to maximum.
2. Attach the upper and lower tubes. Tighten the knob
(A) to fix the tubes into position.
3. By using the knob (B), you can adjust the gap
between the lower and the upper pad to achieve
the most ergonomic position for its back.

4. BEFORE USE
WARNING! Do not open or take apart the support
arm! If you have any questions about the functioning
of the support arm, take it to your nearest after-sales
service.
Before using the support arm, you must always
perform the following checks:
1. Check that no screws are loose.
2. Check that there are no cracks or defects in the
attachment points.
3. That the cable and hook chain are securely
attached to the support arm.
4. Check that the rest of the attachment has no
cracks or breaks.
5. Check that the knob tightens correctly.

5.1. ADJUSTING THE TENSION
5.1.1. SPECIAL POINTS BEFORE ADJUSTING THE
TENSION
1. Always press the lever to release the black knob
before turning the knob.
2. Adjust the tension of the cable always without
weight on the attachment. The cable must always
be within its protective cover. This will prevent
any sudden or abrupt movement of the cord and it
causing damage to the user and people
surrounding.
If the cable is unwound out of its cover, reduce the
tension and wind the cord to its proper position.
Press the lever 1 cm to the right and turn the knob
counterclockwise.

5.1.2. HOW TO ADJUST THE TENSION
It is possible to adjust the tension of the cable in
such a way that reduces the weight of the machine
up to 80%. The ideal situation is to lift the machine
effortlessly using only one hand.
To increase the tension of the cable, press the lever 1
cm to the right and rotate the knob counterclockwise.
To reduce the tension of the cable, press the lever 1
cm to the right and turn the knob clockwise.
5.2. USE
Adjust the ring to the front handle of your machine or
that point on your machine with the best balance.
6. STORAGE
De no utilizar el accesorio, suelte la tensión del cable
al mínimo y almacene el accesorio en un sitio seco
para prevenir que se oxide.
7. RECYCLING OR DISPOSAL OF
YOUR MACHINE
Dispose of your appliance sustainably.
We should not get rid of machines

8.1. WARRANTY PERIOD
- According to the following described terms
(1999/44 CE) the warranty period is 2 years from
the purchase date, and it will cover faulty pieces
owing to an incorrect manufacture.
8.2. EXCLUSIONS
Garland warranty will not cover:
- Pieces worn out due to wear and tear.
- Bad use, negligence, lack of maintenance.
- Failures that turn out because of an incorrect use
of the product, Garland will not be responsible if
the replaced parts of the machine are not from
Garland and if the machine has been modified in
any way.
8.3. TERRITORY
- Garland warranty covers the country.
8.4. IN CASE OF INCIDENCE
- The warranty should be correctly filled in with all
the information requested, and the invoice or the
purchase ticket should be attached.
