PANS, AND LOAD THE
DISHWASHER PROPERLY
See your Use &Care Book for
loading help.
12J
ADD DETERGENT
Proper detergents are very
important to good dishwashing.
Use only fresh detergents
@
igned for automatic dish-
hers. Be sure to read the
ction on detergents in your
Use &Care Book.
Make sure the control dial is
set at the OFF positionbefore
youadddetergent.
la SELECT THE CYCLE
When selecting acycle, you
should consider the soil condition
of the load. Then use the cycle
most suited to that soil condition.
OPOTSCRUE3BERcycle–When
usingthis cycle, less preparation
isrequired before loading. The
Potscrubbercycle can wash
heavily-soiled dishesand remove
manydried-on and baked-on soils
from pots, pansand casseroles.
Burned-on soilsmay not come
clean, especially if the surface of
the utensil isold or damaged. And
the dishwashercannot remove
burn marksor restore fading
causedby overheating during
cooking.
“s to follow the
ing instructions in your Use
SOIL cycle is for
most loads of everyday dishes,
glasses and cookware.
@RINSE &HOLD Gyf2h3should
be selected when you have only a
partial load and plan to wait until
the dishwasher is filled before
washing. !30 NOT USE DETEi-3-
GENT IN THE RINSE& HOLD
CYCLE.
After using the RINSE &HOLD
cycle, be sure you select desired
wash cycle for th~ next load.
OSHORT WASH cycle isfor
dishes that are mildly soiled with
soils that have not dried on. Aiso
everyday dishes that have had
extra preparation before loading.
Use this cycle to save water and
energy.
@DRYING OPTIONS
HEATED DRYING–Turns the
drying heater on for fast drying.
ENERGY SAVER (no-heat drying)–
Turns the drying heater off auto-
matically to save energy. Dishes
dry naturally over alonger period
such as overnight.
If you need your dishes sooner,
open the dishwasher door after
the cycle is complete to reduce
the natural drying time.
Use of this option reduces the
electrical energy used by this
model approximately 8%.
Estimated yearly savings,
depending on your local elec-
trical rates, are as follows:
ElectricRate
(perKwh) $.05 $.08 $.11
Estimated
YearlySavings $5.62 $8.99 $12.36
