This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
DO NOT OPERATE THE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE OR IF
THE APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
EXTENSION CORDS
A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords are available and may be
used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used,
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and
2) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop
or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on unintentionally
(especially by children).
POLARIZED PLUG
WARNING! Shock Hazard: This appliance has a polarized plug (one wide blade) that
reduces the risk of electric shock. The plug fits only one way into a polarized outlet.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in any way or by
using an adapter. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, have an electrician replace the outlet.
