Setting up your GE branded Audio Receiver
Installation
1. Connect one 3.5mm end of the included 3.5mm cable to the audio out connection on the GE audio
receiver.
2. Connect the other end to the audio input on your home stereo system, soundbar, or computer
speaker using the 3.5mm or the RL audio adapter.
Note: Consult your stereo user’s manual for more information on audio inputs available
and their locations.
3. Connect the provided micro USB plug of the AC adapter into the micro port (DC 5V) on the back of
the GE audio receiver. Then plug the AC charger into an available wall outlet.
4. The LED light will flash once to show the unit is powered and ready to be paired with your devices.

Pairing your GE Audio Receiver
To iPad, iPhone, iPod touch (iOS Devices)
Go to bluetooth settings on your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and follow these steps:
1. From your iPad/iPhone/iPod
touch home page, choose
“Settings.”
2. Inside “Settings,”
choose “Bluetooth”
3. Turn on Bluetooth if it is
not already turned on.

ically begin searching for
any available Bluetooth
devices.
5. Once found, choose “GE
Audio Receiver” and Enter
“0000” if asked for a PIN
(some devices do not
require a PIN).
6. You are now connected to
the “GE Audio Receiver”
and can begin to enjoy your
music wirelessly.

To Android smartphone/tablet (ver 4.0 as Example)
Go to bluetooth manager on your smartphone and follow these steps:
1. From your APP page,
choose “Settings.”
2. Inside “Settings,” turn on
and select Bluetooth
3. Your device may begin
scanning automatically.
If not, press the Scan
button at the top.

4. Once found, Choose “GE
Audio Receiver” and Enter
“0000” if asked for a PIN
(some devices do not require
a PIN).
5. Once paired, the GE Au-
dio Receiver should move
to the Paired devices
section of the Bluetooth
settings. You are now
connected to the “GE
Audio Receiver” and can
begin to enjoy your music
wirelessly.
Notes:
1. Once paired, the blue LED light on the GE Audio Receiver will flash once. The blue LED will stay
ON when a connection is established, and the connected device is in range.
2. Some devices, such as smartphones, will auto-connect after pairing, so the LED will be ON
immediately. Other devices, such as an Ultrabook, may ask to connect first (the LED will be OFF
until a connection is established).

Although the audio receiver can only play music from one device at a time, it is capable of being
paired to up to 8 devices.
After connecting, simply play music on your device as you normally would but enjoy it wirelessly
from your stereo system.
Note: the GE Audio Receiver is a Bluetooth Class 2 device with a ~33 feet line of sight range.
However, actual range may vary based on obstructions and conditions in the room.
How to disconnect manually:
When you need to disconnect your connected device, you can
press and hold the button on top of the audio receiver. This will
start the receiver looking for a new connection.
Reconnecting your device:
If you move out of range or turn off the Bluetooth feature on your
device, the audio receiver will disconnect from your device. To reconnect, simply open the Bluetooth
settings and choose the “GE Audio Receiver.” You will not need to input the PIN again.
Adding a new phone or tablet:
If you want to switch from one device to another, please follow these steps:
1. End the existing Bluetooth connection with connected device.
2. The GE audio receiver can now be connected with another device that is already connected, or
follow the section “Pairing your Audio Receiver” to connect a new device.
When out of range or the signal is lost:
When the connected device is away from receiver or the signal obstructed, the LED light will turn off.
To avoid a lost connection:
1. Move your device back into range (within 33 feet), and make sure there’s a clear line of sight with
no obstructions.
2. Within 1 hour, the connection will automatically be re-established and the LED will turn on
Note: If the connection has been lost for more than 1 hour, you will need to reconnect the device
again.

For use in vehicle
Use it in your vehicle
• Simply plug in the included 3.5mm cable jacks into your vehicle’s Aux (3.5 mm) port and into the
back of the GE audio receiver.
• Then use a DC charger (sold separately) with a USB port and any micro USB cable
(sold separately) to power the GE Audio Receiver.
• The LED light will ash once to show the unit is powered and ready for being paired for
your devices.
• Follow the section “Pairing your GE Bluetooth Audio Receiver” to connect a new device.
Use the audio receiver anywhere you have an available USB port!
CAUTION: For your safety, avoid using while driving or operating machinery.

Troubleshooting
You can solve your problems from this section
No music from my stereo speaker:
• Make sure the audio receiver is powered.
• Make sure an audio cable is correctly and rmly connected to GE audio receiver.
• Make sure the volume of the stereo is set to a comfortable listening level.
• Make sure you are within range.
• Make sure the bluetooth function is open on your device.
• Make sure you are playing the audio from your device.

Sound is very intermittent or breaking up:
• Ensure the GE Audio Receiver is not placed directly under your TV or stereo receiver, or any
other device.
• Keep your phone out of your pocket during use.

Cómo instalar su receptor de audio Bluetooth GE
Instalación
1. Conecte un extremo del cable de 3,5 mm incluido a la salida de audio del receptor de audio GE.
2. Conecte el otro extremo del cable de 3,5 mm a la entrada de sonido de su sistema de audio,
barra de sonido o altavoz de su ordenador; si es necesario use el adaptador de audio RL para la
conexión.
Nota: consulte el manual del usuario de su sistema de audio para más información sobre las
entradas de audio disponibles y sus ubicaciones.
3. Conecte el adaptador de alimentación micro USB provisto al micro puerto (DC 5V) en la parte
posterior del receptor de audio GE. Luego conecte el adaptador/cargador CA al tomacorriente.
4. La luz LED destellará una vez para mostrar que la unidad está alimentada y lista para empare-
jarse con otros dispositivos.

Con iPad, iPhone, iPod táctil (dispositivos iOS)
Vaya a conguraciones de bluetooth en su iPad, iPhone, iPod táctil y siga estos pasos:
1. En la página principal de
su iPad/iPhone/iPod táctil,
seleccione “Settings” (Con-
figuraciones).
2. En “Conguraciones,”
seleccione “Bluetooth”.
3. Encienda el Bluetooth, si
todavía no está encen-
dido.

Para teléfono inteligente/tableta con Android (ver. 4.0 como ejemplo)
Vaya al administrador de bluetooth en su teléfono inteligente y siga estos pasos:

encienda y seleccione
Bluetooth.
3. Es posible que su dispos-
itivo inicie un escaneo
automático. Si no lo hace,

Notas:
1. Una vez emparejado, el LED azul en el receptor de audio GE destellará una vez. El LED azul per-
manecerá encendido (ON) cuando se establezca una conexión y el dispositivo conectado esté
dentro del alcance.
2. Algunos dispositivos, como los teléfonos inteligentes, se conectarán automáticamente después
de emparejarse de manera que el LED se encenderá de inmediato. Otros dispositivos, como
el Ultrabook, pueden solicitar conectarse primero (el LED estará apagado (OFF) hasta que se
establezca una conexión).

Aunque el receptor de audio únicamente puede reproducir música de un dispositivo a la vez, tiene
capacidad para emparejarse con hasta 8 dispositivos.
Después de conectarlo, simplemente escuche música en su dispositivo como lo haría normalmente
pero disfrútela de forma inalámbrica desde su sistema de audio.
Nota: el receptor de audio GE es un dispositivo Bluetooth Clase 2 con un alcance de ~10 m en
línea recta. Sin embargo, el alcance real puede variar en base a las obstrucciones y condiciones
en la habitación.
Cómo desconectarse en forma manual:
Cuando necesite desconectar su dispositivo, puede presionar y man-
tener el botón superior del receptor de audio. El receptor comenzará a
buscar otra conexión.
Cómo reconectar su dispositivo:
Si se desplaza fuera del alcance o se apaga la función de Bluetooth de su dispositivo, el receptor de
audio se desconectará de su dispositivo. Para reconectarse, simplemente abra las conguraciones
de Bluetooth y seleccione “GE Audio Receiver”. No será necesario ingresar el NIP otra vez.
Cómo agregar un nuevo teléfono o tableta:
Si desea cambiar de un dispositivo a otro, siga estos pasos:
1. Finalice la conexión Bluetooth existente con el dispositivo conectado.
2. El receptor de audio GE puede ahora conectarse con otro dispositivo que ya está conectado o
consulte la sección “Cómo emparejar su receptor de audio” para conectar un dispositivo nuevo.
Cuando se encuentra fuera del alcance o la señal se interrumpe:
La luz LED se apagará cuando el dispositivo conectado esté lejos del receptor o la señal
esté obstruida.
Para evitar perder una conexión:
1. Mueva su dispositivo nuevamente dentro del alcance (dentro de los 10 m) y asegúrese de que no
haya obstrucciones.
2. La conexión se reestablecerá automáticamente dentro de la próxima hora y el LED se encenderá.
Nota: si se ha interrumpido la conexión por más de 1 hora, necesitará reconectar el dispositivo
nuevamente.
