WARRANTY INFORMATION - FOR AUSTRALIAN CONSUMERS ONLY
Powermove Distribution provides its accessory range of products with a 1
Year back to base warranty:“Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be
excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement
or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired
or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does
not amount to a major failure”.
The warranty offered is in addition to other rights and remedies offered under
consumer law.
The conditions contained in this warranty apply to purchases made within
Australia only.
Purchases made outside of Australia are covered by the warranty procedures
and policies that comply with each respective place of purchase.
Conditions of warranty:
a. The consumer must retain proof of purchase for the warranty period.
b. The warranty period is valid for 1-year from the original purchase date.
c. The warranty applies only to defects in material or workmanship that occur
during normal use of the product.
d. The warranty is a ‘back-to-base’ warranty meaning the consumer is
responsible for the costs associated with returning the product to their place
of purchase or to Powermove Distribution.
e. The consumer must return the goods, original packaging (where feasible)
and proof of purchase to make a warranty claim.
f. If a replacement product is supplied the warranty period applies to the
balance of the warranty period from the original purchase date.
The warranty does not cover:
a. Failure that has occurred as a result of accident, abuse or mis-treatment.
b. Goods that are damaged as a result of other third party products.
c. Any misrepresentations given that are not covered by the warranty.
Warranty claim procedure:
a. The consumer must return the goods as per the requirements stated
in ‘conditions of warranty’ section d & e.
b. If the consumer is unable to return the goods to the place of purchase they
can send the goods with the required packaging and documentation, along
with their contact details including address, phone number and e-mail to:

Note: Please keep the Power Pack safety flap (covering the USB port area)
securely closed, while using it near any liquids. Failing to do so, may allow
water to seep into the circuits and other internal parts of the Power Pack,
resulting in permanent damage to the Power Pack. Preventing the product
from such damage is the users responsibility and will not be covered under
the product warranty.

GENERAL USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
How do I recharge the Gecko Ultra Tough Power Pack?
Plug the USB end of the included cable into a USB power source and connect
the Micro-USB end into the Micro-USB port of the Power Pack. The LED light
will flash to indicate the Power Pack is recharging. Once the charge is
complete the light will become solid red and will remain solid red until
the cable is removed.
How long does it take to recharge the Gecko Ultra Tough Power Pack?
The Power Pack takes approximately 9 to 11 hours to be fully recharged
and will automatically stop charging once it has reached its 100%
charge capacity.
How long will the Power Pack keep its charge?
The Power Pack will slowly lose its charge over time, so it is best to fully
charge the Power Pack at least once every 3 months.
How many charges will the Gecko Ultra Tough Power Pack provide?
A fully charged Power Pack will provide 2 to 3 full charges, depending on
the size and age of the device you intend to charge.
How do I know when my smartphone or tablet is charged?
There are variations between different smartphone and tablet models, please
check your devices user manual to confirm this information. However, in
most cases the amount of charge on your device will be shown as a battery
symbols or percentage amount at the top corner of your devices screen.
BASIC PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Always leave open space around the Power Pack.
- Never force a connector into a port. If the connector and port do not join
with reasonable ease, they may not match each other.
- Make sure that the connector matches the port and that you have
positioned the connector correctly in relation to the port before plugging
them together.
- To reduce the chance of shock, injury or other damage, do not use the
Power Pack in or near water or wet locations.
- When connecting or disconnecting cables to the Power Pack, always
hold the unit by its sides, keeping fingers away from the metal parts
of the plug.
- Before connecting anything to the Power Pack, make sure there
are no foreign objects inside the Power Pack ports or the
smartphone/tablet/other device ports.
- The Power Pack is a sealed component and should not be dismantled
for any reason.

- If you notice the Power Pack is in any way damaged, cracked, broken,
behaving unusually or overheating DO NOT use the Power Pack and contact

- Avoid dropping the Power Pack onto any hard surfaces as the internal
electrical circuits may get damaged.
- Do not expose the Power Pack to direct sunlight or heat above
75 degrees Celsius for extended periods of time as it may cause
the batteries to explode.
- Do not expose the Power Pack to extremely low temperatures as it may
cause damage.
- The ideal operating temperature for the Power Pack is between 0 to 40
degrees Celsius.
