1. Safety notes
WARNING
Only operate the device with the power supply unit provided and the mains voltage
specified on the power supply unit.
Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
In the event of defects or operational faults, switch the device off immediately and
disconnect it from the mains socket.
Do not pull on the mains cable or on the device to disconnect the power supply unit
from the socket.
Never plug in or unplug the power supply unit when you have wet hands.
Never hold or carry the device by the mains cable.
Keep packaging material away from children (risk of suffocation).
Arrange the mains cable so that no-one will trip over it.
Never use the device in proximity to moisture.
2. Intended use
The Wake-up Light wakes you from sleep in a gentle and natural manner. The LED
light gradually becomes brighter like a rising sun, allowing your eyes to slowly become
accustomed to the light conditions and your body to gently prepare itself for waking up.
The light intensity can be set to your personal preferences. Along with the simulated
sunrise, you can set an acoustic alarm to help you wake up. Choose between the
radio, a beep or five natural sounds or you can select shaker vibration. The Wake-up
Light provides a rested and pleasant start to your day.

The device is only intended for the purpose described in these instructions for use.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or careless use.
4. Initial use
Remove the packaging material.
Check that all parts listed are present.
Check the device, mains plug and cable for damage. Place the device on a firm,
even surface.
Remove the battery compartment cover (A11) on the rear of the device and insert
the 4 x AA batteries with corrected polarity battery symbol on compartment. The
battery supplies power to the device in the event of a power failure and is not
intended to be used as a permanent power supply.
Plug the power supply connector into the power supply socket on the underside of
the device.
Insert the mains plug into a suitable socket. The time will display and you can set
the hour format.
NOTE: All settings will go back to normal time mode after 6 seconds, press the
TONE button to exit if you want to exit the settings.
5. Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the device with a dry cloth.
Do not use any abrasive cleaning products.
Protect the device from knocks, damp, dust, chemicals, drastic changes in
temperature, and nearby sources of heat (ovens, heaters).

The guarantee does not cover accidents, negligence or breakages to any parts. The
product must not be tampered with or taken apart by anyone who is not an authorised
Geemarc representative.
The Geemarc guarantee in no way limits your legal rights.
IMPORTANT: YOUR RECEIPT IS PART OF YOUR GUARANTEE AND MUST BE
RETAINED AND PRODUCED IN THE EVENT OF AWARRANTY CLAIM.

- Remove the batteries and deposit them in an appropriate WEEE skip.
Deposit the product in an appropriate WEEE skip.
- Or, hand the old product to the retailer. If you purchase a new one, they should
accept it.

11. Operation
NOTE: - All settings will go back to normal time mode after 6 seconds.
You must complete each section completely without stopping
for more than 6 seconds otherwise it will return to the beginning
of the section.
11.1 Setting the time
Shortly press the SET MEM (A2) button, the hour will flash.

Press the Up ▲(A8) button to set the hour.

Press the SET MEM (A2) button, Choose between 12 and 24 hour
format with the UP▲/ DOWN▼(A8) buttons.

Press the SET MEM (A2) button, Choose Snooze time 5 to 30 minutes
at 5 minutes steps (Default is 5 minutes) with the UP▲/ DOWN▼(A8)
buttons.

Press the SET MEM (A2) button to exit (Time is set).

11.2 Setting and turning on/off the alarm
Short press the ALARM (A3) button once, to set Alarm 1 .
Then press and hold the ALARM (A3) button until the alarm tone
sounds. Set the alarm time by pressing UP▲to set the Hour or DOWN▼
to set the minutes (A8) button.
Then to change the alarm sound ( the alarm must be on), short press SET
MEM (A2) button until you reach your desired alarm sound. The
alarm sound will be displayed on the screen.
The bird, frog, rain forest, wind, seagull, radio or beep
It will display a sound.
and then short press ALARM
(A3) twice.
- If you want the shaker to vibrate when the alarm is activated then plug it in
at the back of the clock in (A12)-
NOTE: If you want to stop the alarm when it is ringing, short press the
ALARM (A3) button
If you do not want the alarm to ring (turn it off completely) then short press
the ALARM (A3) button and then press and hold the ALARM
(A3) until the alarm off is displayed on the screen.

If you want to activate Alarm 2 then repeat the above procedure but short press
ALARM (A3) twice.
11.3 Setting the light to wake you up
Press and hold SNOOZE (A5) button until the is shown in the
display.
Press the UP▲or DOWN▼(A8) button to set the wake up light to OFF,15
or 30 or minutes.
The wake up light will gradually brighten before the alarm goes off.

11.4 Alarm Tone
Press the TONE (A6) button when the clock is in normal time mode.
Press the UP▲or DOWN▼(A8) button to set the tone to one of the 10
possible tone levels.

11.5 Alarm Volume
Press the UP▲or DOWN▼(A8) button at normal Time mode for setting the
volume of alarm.
Default volume is U08 and maximum level is U20.

11.6 Connecting Shaker Vibrator
Connect shaker vibrator at rear jack (A12).
11.7 Light Function
Shortly press the LIGHT (A7) button in normal Time mode.
The lamp will light up.
Press the UP▲or DOWN▼(A8) button adjusting the light brightness.
The default intensity L07 shown and the max brightness is L15.

Press the LIGHT (A7) button again.
To switch OFF the light.
11.8 Radio Function
Press the RADIO (A4) button in normal Time mode.
The radio frequency currentlyset will appear on the display.
Press the UP▲or DOWN▼(A8) button toset the desired radio
frequency.
Tip: to start the automatic scan, press and hold the UP▲or
DOWN▼(A8) button until the scan start and then release it
again.
Press the TONE (A6) button to set the default Volume:
U06 will show on the display.
Press the UP▲or DOWN▼(A8) button to adjust the volume.
The max volume is U12.

11.9 Preset Radio Station / Listening Preset Radio Station
While listening, press and hold the SET MEM (A2) button until S01 shows.
The current radio station is stored in S01.
Select a new radio station and then press and hold the SET MEM (A2)
button until S02 shows.
The new desired radio station is stored in S02.
Amaximum of 10 radio stations can be stored. Repeat process to store other
preset stations.

To use a register memory, in mode radio, press the button SET MEM (A2),
S01 is shown or press again to show S02 and TONE (A6) button to valid

11.10 Goodnight function
Have either the light or the radio on and then press and hold the
SNOOZE (A5) button and SLEEP OFFF will be shown on the display.
Press the UP▲or DOWN▼(A8) button to select desired “switch off”time
from 5 minutes to 90 minutes.
You will see the SLEEP icon flashing on the display

If you want to see how much time remains before the light/radio goes off then
short Press and hold the SNOOZE (A5) button.
11.11 Display Illumination
Press and hold the LIGHT (A7) button until U03 shown at normal time
mode.
Adjusting the display brightness by press the Light button each times.
The brightness changes U03>U04>U01>U02, Max brightness is U04.

11.12 MP3 Playback Function
Press the RADIO (A4) button.
Connect the MP3 to the rear jack (A9) by cable.

Press the TONE (A6) button. The default Volume U06 will show on the
display.
Press the UP▲or DOWN▼(A8) button for adjusting the volume, and the
max volume is U12.

NOTE: when the audio cable is connected to rear jack (A9), the radio mode is not
available.
11.13 Smart Phone Charger Function
Connect your Smart Phone with USB cable to rear USB socket (A10) to
charge
